There were six of us here for dinner. The restaurant has been renovated really well. Due to its location and history, the Hammesmühle has always had its own charm, which is now presented in a modern way. The service was friendly, attentive and unobtrusive in all respects. All dishes were absolutely delicious in terms of taste! Everything just fell into place. Absolutely great. However, the visit had one downer. The fact that there is no “children's menu” is generally not a problem; the service employee offered great alternatives when asked. Despite everything that was great about the main courses, the dishes for the kids were unfortunately presented extremely carelessly. Nothing was really served, not even a “salad garnish” on the plate, which unfortunately didn’t fit the otherwise absolutely great evening. But that certainly won't stop us from coming back. Maybe then, with kids, but more likely in the afternoon.

The Margherita pizza was extremely poor, completely unprofessional and tasteless. The pizza dough was reminiscent of half-finished dough from the supermarket. It was the worst pizza I've ever eaten. The cutlery was not on a clean napkin, but directly on the table, which seemed unhygienic.

We always enjoy eating here at this little snack bar when we are in the city of Mayen. The owners, who we have known for many years, are always very friendly and offer very tasty food at extremely reasonable prices. We often take food with us to take home. The snack bar is very small and has no atmosphere. Since, as mentioned, the food is great, we are happy to recommend it!

Absolutely disappointing! I was at the Tonner Inn with my mother and it was a disaster. The lady behind the counter was very unfriendly from start to finish and the food left a lot to be desired. I wouldn't recommend this snack bar to anyone. There are so many better options in the area.

Not good at all. Stomach cramps

For us the best pizzeria in Mayen. The move to Brückenstrasse was a complete success! Very nice seating outside and everything inside is also very nice. The food is super delicious, whether pizza, pasta or salads. The waitresses are always very friendly. The toilets are very clean and chic. You feel welcome here as a guest. Keep it up!

Very modern and welcoming restaurant. From the vitello and bruschetta, the Sarti Spritz to the espresso, everything was of outstanding quality! The pizza for the main course was, without a lie, the best pizza I have ever eaten in Germany! Professionals work in the kitchen here… The service was quick, friendly and accommodating. The quality is always evident in the side salad and bread. If both are fresh and tasty, then the rest is also good And that's exactly how it is here: fresh & delicious!

Been waiting for 2 kebabs for 3 hours

ADDENDUM - Super clean since my last visit about 5 weeks ago, slightly more sophisticated atmosphere. Pizza & kebab box bedded... And absolutely delicious! Great, keep it up! ... Discovered while walking past, took the kebab with us. For 6.50€ absolutely fat, thick piece, with plenty of meat etc. Respect! It was also super tasty! What puts me off, however, is the layout of the shop and my subjective feeling was that it wasn't as clean as it should be... Therefore only 3 stars for now... But I'll definitely come back, then for a pizza...

The portions are completely sufficient and, considering inflation, the prices are also reasonable. Only the ambience could be modernized - just a typical snack bar.

Beware of fraud!!! Last night we ordered food but didn't receive delivery. I had already paid via Lieferando. According to the status, our food was delivered at 6:59 p.m. but over an hour later there was still nothing. The telephone is constantly busy. I want my money back otherwise I'll contact consumer protection!!!! Such utter impudence!!!!
