We ate there again today. The dishes were, as always, delicious and freshly prepared! The service was also very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is great! We will definitely be back.

Ich mag das Ambiente, das elegant und trotzdem warm und sehr freundlich wirkt, was natürlich auch an der sehr offenen, zuvorkommenden und verbindlichen Art des Personals liegt. Ich habe mich immer willkommen und sehr respektvoll behandelt gefühlt, gleich ob ich alleine ein schnelles Mittagessen brauchte oder einen netten Abend mit Freunden verbringen wollte. Das Essen ist frisch und lecker, es wird sehr sorgfältig mit liebe zum Detail angerichtet und genau so respektvoll behandelt, wie die Gäste. Für mich ist es ein besonderer Wohlfühlort, danke, dass es euch gibt! Ich empfehle zu reservieren, wenn man abends dort bewirtet werden möchte.

Food was absolutely not good. If you like pizza, go to la ronda in Mayen. The kebab shop pizza tastes better than at this "restaurant".

Unbelievable, such delicious food (aubergine with tomatoes and pasta), friendly service, and reasonable prices. No wonder you have to make a reservation. The wine selection could be a bit larger, but that's a personal preference. We'd love to come back. (Couple from Remagen, over 65) Thank you.

Pizza is wafer-thin, not even a tarte flambée can keep up. You won't get tired of it. The taste was good, we took pizza with us and it was ready after 10 minutes.

A nice restaurant with an Italian menu. This restaurant used to be found on the market square. The pizzas were quite OK. When the weather is good you can also sit outside.

Always simply delicious and friendly

The tiramisu (it feels like the dish changes every month and tastes like it has been thawed) and the spaghetti Aglio e Olio ("spicy" on the menu is a lie) are unfortunately no longer what they used to be. The pizzas are good for that.

The food was quite tasty. However, apart from the pizza and the salad, the portions were more than manageable for the prices quoted. The disappointment was already there. A lady from service was also very abrupt and reserved. The gentleman who served us was very nice. All in all, if you have enough in your wallet, this is a pretty nice place to sit and have something to eat.

One of the best pizzas I've eaten in a long time. Thin dough and not too thickly topped. These are recommended. The service is also ok and you get your food very quickly. Very little waiting time.

No possibility to reserve there! No one ever answers the phone and in person there was no table left for the evening. It's completely done for us and we won't try it again.

Es sind nur 2 Bilder die vom Restaurant sind und alle anderen sind vom alten la Piazza die nix mit dem neuen Restaurant zu tun haben. .und genauso ist es mit den Bewertungen die leute schreiben schlechte Bewertung über das alte la Piazza dass nicht mehr existiert ..und ausserdem gibt es keinen Laden dr tk Pizza anbietet . Also ich würde mir ein eigenes Bild machen und dann wird man sehen das dieses Restaurant auch keine decken auf Tisch hat wie es abgebildet ist bei den alten Bildern...

Super leckere Pizza und bester Service.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Nudelgerichte gab es ab 11€. Bier (frisch gezapft) kostete 5€ für 0,5 l. Es war unser 1. Besuch, wir werden wieder hingehen.

Ambiente toll. Bin deshalb öfter dort. Essen eher bescheiden. Besonders im Hinblick zum schönen Ambiente und den hohen Preisen.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr edel. Essen eher Durchschnitt, Bedienunng sehr nett, aber tlw. überfordert. Wartezeit aufs Essen mit 1,5 Std. definitiv zu lange.

+ Essen schnell + Service freundlich -Salat mit Hähnchenbrustfilet schmeckte nach Fisch, sehr unappetitlich -sehr lange Wartezeiten auf Getränke -wenn die Teller abgeräumt sind wird man nicht nach weiteren Getränken oder Dessert gefragt

Die Nudeln Combinazione waren sehr lecker. Die Pizza Magarita war mit Abstand die beste Pizza, die ich je gegessen habe. Der Preis war für die Lage gut und der Service war sehr gut. Zu den Nudeln Combinazione kamen gab es sogar noch Pizzabrötchen, welche ich zu so einem Gericht noch nie bekommen habe. Auch diese waren sehr kecker und ein netter Zusatz. Leider muss ich 1 Stern abziehen, da die Getränke zu wenig waren. Man bekommt nur sehr kleine Fläschchen. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr gutes Essen (Medaillons) zu einem günstigen Preis - schnell serviert! Und das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön! Gerne wieder!!!

Das sehr schöne Ambiente hat uns motiviert, diese italienische Restaurant auszuprobieren. Auch, wenn sich die Speisekarte nicht wirklich ambitioniert anhörte, wollten wir uns gerne positiv überraschen lassen, ohne größere Erwartungen zu haben. Die Tomatensuppe war geschmacklich ok, kam aber eher unmotiviert in einem Suppenteller daher. Selbst ein Petersilienblättchen hätte schon nett ausgesehen ;-) Irgendwie passte dieser Ersteindruck zur Einfachheit der Speisekarte. Den Salat mit Hähnchenbrust mussten wir nach dem 1. Bissen leider zurückgehen lassen. Das Hähnchen war total trocken und so lange angebraten, dass es eine dicke, teils schwarze und schon bitter schmeckende Kruste hatte. Sehr schade. Einen zweiten Versuch wollten wir nicht wagen und nahmen stattdessen Thunfisch, da der Grundsalat diesem entsprach. Der Thunfischsalat beinhaltete sogar Ei, welches wir beim Salat mit Hähnchenbrust als Extra dazu bestellt hatten. Allerdings war es schon sehr ernüchternd zu sehen, dass das "Ei" gerade mal aus 3 dünnen Stückchen bestand (bestenfalls war es 1/2 Ei, eher weniger)) welches hier aber - obwohl im Thunfischsalat ohnehin enthalten - mit 1,-€ (!) berechnet wurde. Selbstverständlich hätten wir für dieses als Zusatz bezahlt... Aber dieses Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war unserer Meinung nach völlig überzogen. Schon 0,50€ wären hier mehr als ausreichend für diese "Menge" gewesen. Desweiteren wurde uns der teurere Salat mit Huhn, welchen wir letztendlich nicht gegessen haben..., berechnet. Stammgäste macht man sich so leider nicht, schade... Die (ebenfalls etwas zu teure) Bruschetta war geschmacklich ok, die Pizza mit Lachs und Zucchini mussten wir ziemlich nachwürzen und wurde von uns mit befriedigend bewertet. Sollte sich das Essen dem schönem Ambiente annähern, kommen wir gerne noch einmal vorbei. Ansonsten passen Preis-Leistung für uns leider nicht gut zusammen.

La Piazza is a good Italian restaurant in Mayen, maybe the best one as far as Italian cuisine in the mentioned German city is concerned. It's located in the city center by the marketplace, not far from the Eiffelmuseum. The decoration inside is quite simple though original elements form part thereof, namely a Vespa brand scooter. Apart from that, the lamps have a beautiful and attractive design, the light which they cast being very pleasant insofar as it's not too bright and has a slightly yellow tonality. Since the music volume isn't too high it can't be deemed a nuisance, though it would be better without music. The food is very good and tasty in that restaurant, as regards both the Italian specialities and the other courses. I ordered a spaghetti aglio olio and it was delicious, very well cooked and tasty. I really enjoyed eating that tasteful dish in such a nice atmosphere. The personnel are kind and helpful. The feeling that one is at the right place increases thanks to the delicate way how their members treat the customers. They endeavour to explain all that isn't utterly clear or which can be misunderstood. When needed they give the right guidance and advice in order that the customers' choice makes them happy. It's by and large a very good restaurant by all means recommendable to everyone wishing to eat high quality Italian food.

Service OK, die Pizza war jedoch einfach schlecht! Wurde schon verdächtig schnell nach Bestellung geliefert, keine fünf Minuten Wartezeit, und sah nicht nur nach Tiefkühlpizza aus, sondern schmeckte auch so. Auch das Radler war abgestanden. Leider keine Empfehlung!

Telefonische Reservierung am selben Abend möglich. Tisch und Ambiente waren schön. Die Kellner sehr nett! Die vegetarischen Angebote könnten vermehrt werden - auch beim Angebot an der Wand. Ausgesuchte Gerichte (Pizza und Salat) waren sehr lecker. Der Nachtisch: Tiramisu ist der Hammer und nur zu empfehlen. Gerne kommen wir wieder!
