Der Himmel in deinem Mund :-) So leckeres Rindfleisch in Meerrettichsoße habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Ich bin hier Stammkunde, weil ich mich hier wie zur Familie fühle. Tolle Atmosphäre. Immer leckeres Essen. Riesige Portionen und niedriger Preis. Heaven in your mouth! I haven't eaten such delicious beef in horseradish sauce for a long time. I am a regular customer here because I feel like family here. Great atmosphere. Always delicious food. Huge portions and low price.

Dear Hammes-Mühlen team, The restaurant is beautifully designed. We visited the Hammesmühle after it reopened on a recommendation. We were really happy we were welcomed by the courteous and friendly service staff. We had a 3-course menu. A small greeting /amuse gueule would be perfect to shorten the waiting time. The main courses were not so beautifully presented. I didn't find the garlic/herb butter particularly tasty. We waited 40 minutes for the main courses and unfortunately they arrived a bit cold. My friend ate the braised beef cheeks, the celery puree could use more seasoning, as could the celery threads that were served as a garnish. The Wiener Schnitzel was extremely thin, which I thought was great! The potato and cucumber salad tasted mainly of vinegar and mustard. There was a hair in the food (of course that can happen, I also work in the catering industry, it just happens, which is why I didn't make a major third). As an apology we got dessert for free. For dessert we had the cheese plate for 2 people. I would have found it interesting what kind of cheese I found on this plate. The service staff didn't know the table number by heart, which is why they went to the next table three times and had to ask whether the food/drinks were for them. There is definitely still a lot of room for improvement. The service staff always asked if everything was OK and whether everything tasted good, but unfortunately not for the most important course - the main course. I don't want to badmouth the restaurant, this is my personal criticism as I felt it.

The staff is very polite and accommodating, the food is lovingly and perfectly prepared, the taste cannot be beaten, delicious wines, a good price-performance ratio. We were here for the second time yesterday. Although 600 km away, we will come back. A perfect evening.

Ordered food at 5 p.m. It's already 7 p.m. and the food is still not there. This is the last time I will order from the store. Absolute impudence. I wonder how they can hold up. Actually, one star is even too many
