Ristorante & Pizzeria Torri in Mayen

Die Pizza war wirklich sehr lecker und auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente hat uns ebenfalls gut gefallen. Etwas enttäuscht waren wir allerdings von der Vorspeisen-Platte für 26 € zum Teilen. Die Menge war zwar gut, aber die Auswahl wirkte eher einfach. Die Pizzasticks waren fantastisch aber Salami, Schinken und Käse wirkten nicht besonders hochwertig oder außergewöhnlich. Gerade bei diesem Preis hätten wir uns etwas speziellere italienische Wurst- und Käsesorten gewünscht. Die Platte machte auf uns eher den Eindruck, als würden Zutaten verwendet, die auch als normale Pizzabeläge zum Einsatz kommen. Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen Besuch und würden wegen der Pizza wiederkommen.

Ich bewerte hier nicht das Eiskaffe sondern das Restaurant. Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Einzig die Kunstblumen auf den Tischen passen nicht zum restlichen Ambiente.

Ich war bei Pfingsten Flohmarkt Sonntag Eis essen gegangen. Gewartet fast ca. stunde die Bestellung und Service war nicht gut gewesen . Da habe ich für über 30€ Eis rausgeben und finde es viel zu teuer für 3 Personen.

Wir waren heute anlässlich des Pfingstflohmarktes in Mayen und mittags dann im Restaurant Torri essen. Wir waren total begeistert....super Service, sehr leckeres Essen...top, obwohl alle Tische besetzt waren und wir mit längerer Wartezeit gerechnet haben! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Wir waren recht früh am Vormittag da, trotzdem wurden wir schnell bedient und das essen war auch super lecker, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Stimmung und das Feeling war auch sehr angenehm. Siamo molto contenti che abbiamo l’opportunità di poter godere la vera cucina italiana qui a Mayen! Die wirklich Küche Italiens und nicht der oftmals übliche Fake! Auf Wunsch wird sogar die Carbonara ohne Sahne zubereitet! Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam, in Deutschland eine Seltenheit! Wohlverdiente fünf Sterne - in jeder Hinsicht!

Bei mirsem Regenwetter dort eingekehrt und das Angebot mit Apfelstrudel, Vanille Eis plus Sahne nebst Kakao für 8,90 Euro nach Renovierung genossen. Hat sich gelohnt! Alles sehr lecker 👍😋 Sehr zu empfehlen. Weiter so...

Ein wirklich tolles italienisches Restaurant! Das neue Ambiente ist modern, stilvoll und sehr einladend – man fühlt sich direkt wohl, sobald man reinkommt. Die Bedienung war durchweg super freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Genau so wünscht man sich Service. Das Essen war einfach richtig lecker – frisch, geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder. Klare Empfehlung! 🇮🇹🍝

Schlechte Qualität an essen und Wucher Preise

Wir waren jetzt innerhalb von ca. 2 Monaten 2x in Mayen, wir kommen aus Mainz, und haben dieses Lokal liebgewonnen. Es wird von Italienern geführt, sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal, heute, Freitag, 20.12. hatte uns Davide bedient. Das Essen ist top, unabhängig davon, ob man Fleisch, Pizza oder Nudeln bestellt. Beim ersten Besuch waren wir mit Personen bei Torri und hatten verschiedene Gerichte. Das Essen kam zügig, gleichzeitig und alles war auch schön warm. Auch war es kein Problem, dass man uns die Pizza teilte bei unserem zweiten Besuch. Auch die Nachspeisen waren ein Traum. Die Ausstattung ist modern, aber trotzdem sehr warm und gemütlich, man fühlt sich insgesamt einfach rundum wohl. Wir können das Lokal uneingeschränkt empfehlen. G. & V. Beier.

Ich war für 3 Tage auf einer Tagung in Mayen und abends ging es dann zu Torri. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Das Bruscetta war Cross und super gewürzt, die Pizza Frutti di Mare war mit frischen Meeresfrüchten belegt. Das Personal war höflich und zuvorkommend, es war einfach perfekt. Danke dafür liebes Team.

Wir waren hier gestern zu zweit Essen um die Tagliatelle im Parmesan Laib zu probieren, die wir auf Instagram gesehen haben. Ich kann versichern, die schmecken noch besser als sie aussehen 😋 Das Ambiente ist auch sehr einladend und ruhig. Kann ich sehr empfehlen für ein Date zu Zweit.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ein gemütliches Restaurant, wo man im Sommer auch schön draußen sitzen kann.

Auch ohne Reservierung wurden uns verschiedene Tische angeboten, sehr herzlicher und hilfsbereiter Empfang. Waren mit Kleinkind / Kinderwagen unterwegs. Die freundliche Art und das leckere Essen hat uns sehr überzeugt. Also Essen & Service & Herzlichkeit Top! Wenn wir mal wieder in der nähe sind kommen wir auch gerne wieder. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Kleiner Abzug gibt es nur für die nicht so schöne, etwas abgenutzte Bestuhlung. Das passt nicht so zum gesamten Ambiente, welches davon mal abgesehen sehr schön ist.

We eat here often and always feel completely at home. The service is exceptionally friendly and attentive. You immediately notice that guests are truly welcome here, even if you're traveling with children. Even special requests are never seen as a burden, but are accommodated with patience and dedication. And, by the way, they make the best pizza in Mayen.

Ok restaurant. Anti pasti was good. Wine ok. Pizza marguerita was the worst marguerita I ever had. Both sides empty. In the middle two slices of ham.

A truly excellent ice cream parlor. The ice cream always tastes good, and the service is courteous. I'm happy to come back every time. Even though I've heard a few rumors, the taste of the ice cream makes up for it.

Das Ambiente auf dem Marktplatz ist sehr nett. Der Kellner war freundlich und Getränke und Eis kamen wurden sehr schnell serviert. Beim Eisbecher „Ferrero Roche“ gab es eine Eiskugel von den drei Eiskugeln, die wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt hat und diesen Eisbecher zu vergleichbar anderen Eisdielen hervorgehoben hat. Das Spaghetti hat auch gut geschmeckt. Wir würden wieder kommen! PS: Viele der negativen Bewertungen verstehen wir nicht und viele der Bewertungen richtet sich an die Pizzeria anstatt an die Eisdiele.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed again. I was only happy the first time... It had just opened, and I was new to Mayen. After that, the food quality only went downhill. I thought that since they had reopened, the quality would be better. It was so much better that I had an upset stomach for two days. When the waiter brought the dish I ordered, my eyes were watering. It looked delicious, but in reality, only the pasta was delicious... And the beer... had a strange taste. I'm not surprised that the place only fills up during events on Marktplatz. The service? With a few exceptions, very unpleasant... and certainly not all of them are Italians :-) Overall, I don't recommend it.

An authentic Italian restaurant beautifully located on the market square in Mayen. The pizza is nicely crispy yet fluffy, not overloaded with cheese as is often the case, the price is reasonable, and the service is very friendly. We'll be happy to come back.

Nice Italian restaurant on Mayen's market square. Friendly service and also run entirely by Italians. The pizza was really delicious, although I have to particularly highlight the crust. Nice and thin, yet still perfectly balanced between deliciously crispy and not burnt. Italian pizza 🍕 Highly recommended! Unfortunately, good pizzas are very hard to come by these days, as many are Germanized and overloaded with far too many toppings and cheese. Therefore, I can highly recommend this one.

The service staff was very friendly, the menu was plentiful, and the food was delicious. The price/performance ratio was decent. And after dinner, we went across the street for ice cream. :)

The good location trumps the food. The portion was very small, and the pasta alla verdure was made with frozen vegetables. The pizza was okay. Quite expensive for the quality.

During our visit to the Rock am Ring festival, we were looking for a suitable dining option in the unfamiliar area of ​​Mayen. We chose the Torri Restaurant and Pizzeria, which had consistently positive online reviews on Google. Upon entering the restaurant, our positive first impression was confirmed: The ambiance is modern, appealing, and extremely inviting. Even on a busy lunchtime, we were warmly welcomed by the extremely friendly and attentive staff and were able to easily find a seat inside. The Torri menu offers a good selection of Italian classics, including vegetarian options. While there weren't any specific vegan dishes specifically designed for us, the variety on the menu should cater to a wide range of tastes. We all opted for a variety of pasta dishes. While we waited for our food, we were able to observe the chefs' busy activities through the open kitchen. Both the pizza section and the preparation of the other dishes were fascinating to watch and conveyed the impression of great passion and professionalism. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant, and the noise level was moderate, allowing for relaxed conversation. The staff was very attentive throughout our stay and took excellent care of our well-being. We found the prices to be absolutely reasonable and reflected the quality and standard of the restaurant. Payment options are also varied: debit cards, credit cards (Visa), and cash are accepted. The Torri Restaurant and Pizzeria is very centrally located, in a marketplace-like setting, and also has an outdoor area. Regarding parking, we parked in a nearby parking garage within walking distance, making it easy to arrive by car. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the Torri Restaurant and Pizzeria and can recommend it without reservation. We would definitely be happy to return if we find ourselves in the area again.

Very nice restaurant with an Italian flair. The food is top and very tasty. At least except for the salad. Although it is typically Italian with vinegar and oil, it feels unimaginative. However, highly recommended for pizza and pasta. In terms of price, the food is quite OK apart from the daily menu, which sometimes goes up to €40

Ate there yesterday with my children, really recommended if you are in the corner.

That was really bad. The salad was rotten, the chicken was on the bone. Also very expensive for what was on offer. The yogurt herb dressing was completely white...hmmm...where had the herbs gone? It was obviously from the bucket. Both restrooms were without toilet paper or fingertips. I cleaned everything up, but they weren't impressed. I had to pay for the salad, even though it was inedible. I didn't want a new one either because it was disgusting to me overall. Never again...my three companions felt the same. Too bad

Auf der Heimreise von der Mosel zu Mittag eingekehrt. Bewertung für das Restaurant: Hinten angefangen. Ein lauwarmer Espresso geht, gerade beim Italiener, mal gar nicht. Netter Service, Interieur sehr ansprechend. Wir hatten einmal Pasta und einmal Pizza. Optisch und handwerklich alles gut bis sehr gut. Geschmacklich mit Potential nach oben. An Italian as it should be: very tasty food, nice atmosphere, really good attentive service. We ended up here by chance after the Monreal knighthood, cold and starving and it was a crowning conclusion to a great day - perfect!!

Nice modern restaurant, delicious food, affordable prices. Pay attention to the service. I would like to see the waiters more often so that I don't have to wait half an hour for them to appear in the hall to take the order. I would like to say the same for the summer terrace, you constantly have to go into the establishment and call the waiter. I would like more dishes with fish.

An absolute recommendation! Very good food, very good service and very friendly staff - and at reasonable prices! As a starter, fried pizza dough with rocket, tomatoes and permesan - never eaten before but very tasty. The main courses were Pizza Margarita (baked to perfection with a consistently crispy base and long-rest dough with a lovely aroma) and Parmesan spaghetti with black pepper. We all really enjoyed it! Probably one of the best Italians around...!

We received a very friendly welcome. We were assigned a place that was quite nice and pleasant. The question about the first drinks was asked quickly and the drinks were on our table within minutes of arriving. We then each ordered a pizza, Calabrese and Frutti the Mare. Both pizzas came out quickly and were delicious. By the way, the portions are large. As a small farewell greeting from the kitchen, we received a mini dessert: pana cotta with caramel sauce. War heute mit einer Freundin dort essen, wurden zwar schnell bedient essen war sehr fettig was man so nicht denkt die Nudeln haben in fett geschwommen. Wir haben 3 mal gesagt das wir bezahlen wollen jedoch wurden wir ignoriert oder nicht gehört. Seitdem ich dort weg bin habe ich Magenprobleme musste während der Fahrt 4 mal anhalten weil es mir so schlecht ging wegen dem Essen. Ich werde da nicht nochmal hingehen essen war somit sehr schrecklich.

So, we met some friends at the restaurant and we all ordered 2 drinks and a pizza. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't anything special. It was ok but I expected more for the price. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. It was extremely wet, with too much sauce and not enough of the rest. The crust was good, that was the only thing. I thought the place was very nicely designed but that was it for me. The service was initially almost intrusive when it came to taking the order and after that we hardly saw her anymore and had to wait 20 minutes before we paid. I think we won't come again.

We spontaneously got a seat at this Italian restaurant on a Saturday. The staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating and nice. The food was really fantastic - we had lasagne, steak and potatoes and a pizza, with a delicious red wine. Everything was super delicious! We'd love to come back!

Finally not a run-of-the-mill Italian. Had a very varied antipasti platter. Which didn't just consist of tomato mozzarella, cold cuts and olives. An imaginative and varied plate, with various prepared vegetable antipasti and great 🦐🦐🦐 For example a peccorino with tomato jam. Doesn't get M/F/D 😉 on every corner. The pizza 🍕 was also very tasty (second course). The staff could be more attentive, but very friendly 👍. You should visit when you are in Mayen!!!!

Service never asks for drinks. Some employees don't speak any German at all. Drinks sometimes don't come at all or come very late even though there weren't many people in the restaurant. Pizza was okay but pasta was only for people who want to lie awake all night with stomach problems. Bottom line, nothing more to recommend.

I found the pizza perfectly okay and solid :) we picked up, so I can only rate the food. I had the pizza Torri with rocket and Parma ham 😊

I ordered the calamari and was really disappointed. The squid wasn't fresh and still had the skin on it, which stuck unpleasantly in your teeth when you ate it. Some parts were also not fully cooked. The court was also not balanced. On the one hand it was quite greasy, on the other hand the small amount of sauce didn't balance out the greasyness at all. Overall, I was not impressed with this dish. We also had a margarita pizza which was okay. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Differently priced menus, dishes that are no longer offered. Starters came quickly, over an hour later a main course arrived, including that of my companion, eight minutes late. Even without the delay, the pizza arrived cold. Tastes good, but way too overpriced. Service poor, 2 out of 3 waitresses could hardly speak German. Never again. Absolutely no recommendation. Avoid the store!!!

Unfortunately the food wasn't that tasty. But the ice cream is the best ice cream in Mayen.

First time being here. Opening times weren't correct on Google. Opened at 11:30 instead of 11:00. 2 spaghetti bolognaise and 2 pizza. Order was fast but nothing special. Service from the lady and the one guy was not friendly. Afterwards we tried to pay and only german card were accepted. We didn't really feel welcome after all.

Today 6/28 we had a delicious meal in this cozy Italian restaurant! Very good service and a delicious meal for the three of us for a good price! The desserts are also highly recommended! If we are in the area again we will definitely stop by to eat again! Awesome!

Over 30 euros for a rump steak with fried potatoes. The fried potatoes were not fried and the steak was almost raw. When I asked for mayonnaise, I was given packet mayonnaise. So I have no recommendation for the store.

We came across this place while looking for a quick bite to eat. The pictures on the internet are not fake. The family-run restaurant gives every guest the feeling of belonging to the family. The limoncello is unbeatable. The menu reflects authentic food that has been made into a product with love and passion. Gladly again at any time.

Very modern and brightly furnished Italian restaurant for delicious pizza & pasta in the middle of the city. Fast & friendly service. If you sit outside you also have a view of the Genovevaburg.
