Wokman in Mayen

In November 2025, I ordered the chicken with sweet and sour sauce, rice, and vegetables twice for takeout. (It was advertised on a sign outside the restaurant.) The price was only €7.50 per person! (November 12, 2025) It was a huge portion again and, as always, tasted great. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE COMPLAINTS OR STRANGE REVIEWS! 😕 This small restaurant may lack atmosphere, but the food itself is always very good. Everything we've tried so far has been delicious. Therefore, we can't really understand some of the reviews here on Google. What we did notice on our last visit was that the prices have gone up. We were also negatively surprised by the drinks: a bottle of apple spritzer for €2.20. That's too expensive for a snack bar. We've also used their excellent delivery service. Punctual and reliable. Lots of walk-in customers. (Students, etc.) We highly recommend WokMan and give it 5 stars. We've been customers for many years and know the owners very well.

Wokman - definitely the last time. I was just really annoyed. I ordered bami goreng to eat there. The small portion is now €6.50 and was even smaller than before. There was no ham or egg in it and it was only lukewarm, and the noodles were so dry, as if they'd long since passed their best. When I asked, I was told they were no longer serving ham and that the menu had changed. There was no comment on the egg either. It was then reheated, which didn't make it any better. Simply outrageous; I've rarely had such a bad meal. That's how you lose customers. Never again Wokman!!!

I'm pretty disappointed. We ordered fried noodles and unfortunately found that they were pretty dry and badly seasoned. When would I say that they used turmeric instead of soy sauce?

We always enjoy eating at this small snack bar whenever we're in the town of Mayen. The owners, whom we've known for many years, are always very friendly and serve delicious food at extremely reasonable prices. We often take the food home with us. The snack bar is very small and doesn't have much of an atmosphere. However, as mentioned, the food is excellent, so we'd happily recommend it!

We ordered here for the first time yesterday. Three sweet and sour duck dishes: absolutely not good. The duck was completely dark (burnt) and tasteless. I had noodles with three shrimp: no flavor and completely dry. A shame.

Fried noodles with crispy duck. Unfortunately, the noodles were barely seasoned, and the duck was not fresh but very crispy and flavorless. We'll go back to another Chinese restaurant.

We had the food delivered, very nice driver, came on time

The Chinese snack bar has cheap prices, but unfortunately it doesn't taste good... I can't recommend it at all

The hand tasted like Aldi's cheapest frozen hand of meat and we got the rice cold. Bah

Essen super und nette Bedienung. Was will man mehr?!

Wann auch immer wir hier waren, es hat immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Darüber hinaus ist das Essen auch sehr preiswert. Heute, 14.07.23 haben wir für einen Fitnessteller nur 6 Euro bezahlt. Reichlich gebratenes Hühnerfleisch und einen großen Salat beinhaltet dieses Gericht. Einfach Klasse.👋😃 Absolute Empfehlung. Das Gemecker, hier von einem zu lesen, ist für uns nicht nachvollziehbar.🙄😟

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und der Service ist freundlich und nett. Bestellen zum liefern klappt auch gut, man wartet nicht lange und das Essen ist lecker.

Heute haben wir 4 verschiedene Gerichte mit Reis bestellt. Sehr freundliche Dame und das Essen war auch lecker. Wenn man zu wenig Fleisch hat, kann man das ja mitteilen 👍

Very friendly girl on the phone and the delivery guy was also friendly. Delivery Time only 30 minutes is very good. The duck was crispy and tasty, unfortunately the noodles was dry. And the Tofu was very dry. Please do more broth and soja sauce to the noodles. The tofu should only fried short from both sides. Please fix it and you get the last star. Keep on....

Seit über 25 Jahren essen wir gerne hier oder wird bestellt. Wir probieren gerne auch andere asiatischen Küchen in Deutschland und auch im Ausland aber hier in Mayen schmeckt uns am besten !!!

Keine Parkplätze, aber sehr nett. Innenausstattung imbisstypisch, kein Restaurant. Das Essen war gut und preiswert. Gerne wieder.
