My visit to Mephisto on Saturday was anything but pleasant. After just one drink, I felt extremely uncomfortable, and shortly afterward, I felt completely ill – something that had never happened to me before. The overall atmosphere was very unpleasant, and the crowd also left a lot to be desired. I had the strong impression that drugs were involved, which only made the uneasy feeling worse. I had actually hoped for a relaxing evening, but instead it was a completely negative experience. I definitely won't be coming back.

Unfortunately the waitress was very rude and we left without eating. Never again. Museum TOP!!!

Pork schnitzel, fries and mushroom cream sauce as well as a small plate from the buffet, two pieces of cake and 2 drinks cost ~€41, which I'm happy to pay given the decent quality. But... Schnitzel was just unpleasant to eat, fries didn't taste like the freshest oil and the sauce had formed a greasy skin. Buffet so-so. Portion size and taste were far from what I expected. Raspberry cake tasted artificial, strawberry cake was okay. Not again...

I asked if the fried rice noodles with vegetables are vegan as eggs were not mentioned but every other noodle dish hat them. I was told yes and rushed to make room for other customers (there were not that many people behind me) so I couldn't really specify about the eggs. When the food arrived, it had eggs which i tried to not eat as I was not really in mood to talk to the staff as they seemed rude and unapproachable. Apart from the eggs the food was just greasy nothing special flavorwise. The staff also stared me the whole time. One of the most horrible dining ecperiences I've had. Also the place likely doesn't pay taxes as they don't give receips

Can't recommend the southern Torwirtschaft with a beer garden. We waited forever to be served. When the drinks came, we had 0.3l of beer in front of us instead of 0.4. According to the map, that doesn't even exist. Something was also forgotten. Prices are not bad either. I can't recommend that.

Overall not recommended.
