Delicious food for little money

On a beautiful sunny day, we spontaneously decided to stop by for a drink to go during our stroll. The young staff were very friendly and helpful, but the mood was seriously dampened by the older, long-haired blonde waitress. She seemed to be the resident dragon of this bar and was visibly annoyed that she was making us two Aperol to go and a Fanta. Her face spoke volumes, and when we asked for the Fanta from the fridge rather than the tap, she responded with ironic, insulting, and homophobic language: "Where else would you get Fanta?" and that I had found myself with a particularly demanding boyfriend. The small glass bottle of Fanta wasn't even completely filled into the cup, but only three-quarters; we certainly paid for the remaining quarter. However, it was withheld from us out of "kindness." We ended up paying over 17 euros for two Aperols and a much too small Fanta :) The icing on the cake was: The Aperol tasted like cleaning water and was a 100% cheap copy poured into the original Aperol bottle. So if you want to be ripped off and insulted and support this homophobic restaurant, then you've come to the right place. Everyone should be ashamed of giving this house dragon even a cent of wages or tips. One star is still too much for this kind of treatment of paying guests.

Disastrous value for money. There are numerous better alternatives.

To avoid a long line at the snack bar at the Georg-Arnhold-Bad (outdoor pool), we decided as a group to head to the Torwirtschaft beer garden – on a hot summer day in the middle of the week. Unfortunately, the beer garden only served meatballs and bratwurst. But as everyone knows, fries belong to the outdoor pool like a lid to a pot – so we wanted to keep our promises to the children. The restaurant area of the Torwirtschaft welcomed us (6 adults + 8 children) very warmly, and we were given special color-in children's menus with pens. When the food was ready, the waiter himself whistled for the children who were playing soccer on the adjacent lawn. Very friendly! – very friendly staff in general. But what I liked best was that it wasn't a problem for us adults to order the children's dishes too. That's not the case everywhere. So, definitely a thumbs up for the Torwirtschaft! For its child-friendliness and the friendliness in general! The prices for the children's menu were also absolutely reasonable.

Fui a cenar me dieron una hamburguesa de queso de tocino y mi compañero consiguió la carne de res de ternera ambos terminamos el plato completo!! recomiendo encarecidamente también visitamos desde Escocia, así que no estábamos seguros de qué esperar.
