Restaurant N°18 in Dresden

We stayed here with the reuse company. You have a different idea of ​​4 stars. Is the hotel facing bankruptcy? The food that was included in the price of the trip was worse than what you would expect from a snack bar. There was no beer, only Hefeweizen, which not everyone likes. On the second day, a Monday, there was still no beer to order. When I asked how something like this was possible, the answer came from a nice young lady, by the way: we've been waiting a week for delivery... That gives you a deep insight. Strange hair in the bathroom. When we checked in, we arrived promptly at 3 p.m. and were made to wait 30 minutes for the room key. The porter was no match for the arriving guests. Overall not recommended.

You can stay overnight there. Far from 4 stars. The staff is nice and helpful. It is centrally located and the city center can be easily reached by tram. For me, 4 stars means top cleanliness, no stains in the curtains or on the carpet. The breakfast is good, but not outstanding. The bathroom could also be cleaned more thoroughly. I don't find the distribution of breakfast times that exciting either. You can do it if you don't have any high expectations and just want to stay overnight.

The quality was very very good. The taste of the food was perfect. Especially the desserts. Gladly again.

Since food was included in our hotel package, we didn't have the highest expectations for our candlelight dinner. But even these were not fulfilled. Instead of a 3-course meal, we had a buffet and had to carry our food independently through the basement hallway past the cigarette machine and the toilets. The quality was no better than a cafeteria meal (TK) and the dessert was not edible at all. By the way, we didn't get our welcome champagne either. Was the chef on vacation?
