We visited the Germersheim Hiking Lodge for the first time today, having been drawn to it through the Schlemmerblock (a German restaurant) – and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent! The schnitzel with gravy, in particular, was truly delicious and plentiful. Our children loved it too. There's a small play area where they could keep themselves busy, and they also really enjoyed the schnitzel. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and family-friendly. We'll definitely be back!

We were at the Schützenhaus again yesterday. We eat there regularly (once or twice a month) because I'm at the adjacent campsite. Now I have to say something about the past reviews. The service there is always friendly and nice. It's completely normal that you have to wait a bit on busy days when the beer garden and restaurant are full. When I read reviews where people write, "I would have liked dessert, but the waitress didn't ask me," I wonder how they've gotten through life so far. When I go out to eat, it's because I want to treat ourselves to something delicious, and because I want to relax and spend time with the person in a great atmosphere with great food. Not because I'm desperately trying to find something wrong. The service there is often very busy, and if I don't have time to wait five or ten minutes, I go to a fast-food restaurant. In conclusion, the food is delicious. The service is excellent. The ambiance is fantastic. We'd be happy to come back.

We celebrated our wedding in the Stadthalle Germersheim and are completely thrilled! The restaurant and Mr. Gegg personally were extremely caring, helpful and always tried to implement all of our wishes and ideas. We would particularly like to emphasize the great understanding that was shown to us - every request was addressed. The food was excellent and the service left nothing to be desired. The communication in advance was also smooth, reliable and very pleasant. From planning to implementation, everything went perfectly. We can only recommend the Stadthalle Germersheim with Mr. Gegg's team.

We love it... baked cakes ourselves and the other food was also made with love. The prices still have to be paid but I don't want to advertise too much, I would also like to get a place in the future.
