Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants good and tasty food. There is a great selection of good home-style Palatinate cuisine. But also good vegetarian dishes. Service is good and value for money is right!

We have eaten here several times, my husband has gourmet schnitzel or rump steak, I have fish with buttered vegetables or shrimp pans. They are both absolutely thrilled, especially with the sauces and crème brûlée = very tasty! Have already told several people about it. But it is very difficult to get through on the phone. I would like to make a reservation for Sunday May 12, 2024 at 5 p.m. for my family of 6 adults and 6 kids (6-12 years). Is there an email address to reserve or a mobile number???

Very tasty food. Service was very friendly and attentive. The food came to the table quickly and hot and was very tasty, the vegetables were fresh and crunchy and the meat was very tender. Were very happy with everything and will be back soon.

Jesses, just great! Every time we visit the Schützenhaus it feels like the kitchen goes one better. There is nothing wrong here! Portion size great, taste great, staff very accommodating and always quick. We haven't had a single reason to complain yet. Price/performance is really impressive. We definitely enjoy coming here again and again. A lot of pubs and restaurants have to go a long way to keep up. Always a treat for us and a little time out to enjoy. Yes, it's a clubhouse, but the operators and staff make up for it.

There were four of us and everyone was happy. A menu where everyone can find something. Delicious and freshly prepared food. Very friendly staff. The restaurant was almost full and therefore quite loud, but nobody can do anything about that. Good value for money these days. We'd love to come back. Full recommendation.

We were there for the first time and celebrated a big birthday. We had chosen a buffet with schnitzel, rump steak with onion sauce, zander, side dishes of salad, vegetables, fries, croquettes, rosemary potatoes and 2 sauces. What can I say...we were thrilled 🤩 even our guests were blown away. We can only recommend it and it certainly won't be the last time there. Price performance is totally right. Many thanks again to the service and Sven for the delicious food. Keep it up.🥰

Four of us were there on a Saturday evening and had made reservations, which was recommended because the restaurant was filling up, especially groups and families. The food is excellent, we can recommend everything: schnitzel, rump steak or starters such as shrimp. The salads are very well prepared. All portions are generous, so no one goes home hungry. The service is quick and tries hard. The only thing I didn't like was the dining room, it has the character of a gymnasium and the lighting is poor... if the plate is in the shadow of the eater you can still sense the schnitzel 😁

Never experienced anything like this before. Last Sunday we ordered food from the Schützenhaus, as we have often done before. My mother does it over the phone the night before and my brother picks it up. This time he came to the restaurant, paid and wanted to go home with his food. Suddenly the owner came out of the kitchen and shouted at him on the phone how you can behave so disrespectfully, next time he won't cook for us. My brother stood there and didn't know what to say - he hadn't called at all - my mother wanted to confront him on the phone but he just hung up. You should probably be able to distinguish a woman's voice from a man's voice. Conclusion He won't see us there anymore. An apology would be in order at this point. No matter who behaved like that on the phone, that's not how you treat your customers and it definitely wasn't us.

The food is amazing, the waitresses are fast at work, friendly and accommodating. The food is tasty, the salad is super fresh as if it had just been picked, the menu is varied. We recommend the rump steak, either with fresh garlic, onions or other variants. The rump steak with garlic/snail sauce deserves special attention... The ambience is simple and has a bit of the charm of a train station waiting room.

Leckere Speisen zu fairen Preisen. Das Rumpsteak ist ein Traum, auch wenn die Kräuterbutter aus der Packung ist. Beim Service gibt es etwas Abzug, liegt aber eher am Personalmangel.

Für ein Vereinsheim/Schützenhaus und die entsprechende Ausstattung etwas zu hohe Preise, aber die Qualität der Speisen sowie die Menge rechtfertigen diese absolut. Die Salatteller sind riesig, das Dressing lecker, es gibt sogar genug Brot dazu, das Feinschmeckerschnitzel ist extrem schmackhaft und die Pommes wirklich gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Rumpsteak wie immer ein Traum. Wir gehen regelmäßig mit mehreren Personen extra zum Rumpsteak essen hin.

Wir waren schon Mehrfach hier. Das Ambiente ist relativ einfach. Das Essen, die Getränke und das Personal ( also das, worauf es ankommt ), sind einfach top. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben 1 h 20 Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet, alle 6 medium bestellten Steaks waren durch. Das Steak mit Knoblauch hatte viel frisch gehackten Knoblauch, jedoch war es so stark mit Pfeffer gewürzt, dass man leider nicht den Knoblauch schmeckte. Schlecht für Leute, die keinen Pfeffer mögen und daher extra ein Knoblauch Steak bestellen. Service ist sehr langsam und unorganisiert. Im Salat waren viele braune Blätter. Sonst hat das Essen geschmeckt. Auch wenn die Steaks zu durch waren, das Fleisch war zart.

Schön gemütlich und mit gutem Service

Das Wichtigste: das Essen ist sehr gut! Wir waren schln öfters hier und wurden nie enttäuscht. Der Service ist gut und auf kleine Sonderwünsche wird eingegangen. Einzig beim Ambiente gibt es leider nur drei Sterne. Der Biergarten draußen ist toll. Gemütlich große Bänke und Tische sind einladend. Leider gibt die Location im Inneren nicht ganz so viel her. Ein großer Raum. Die Dekoration ist schön, kann aber über die Nüchternheit des Raumes nicht hinwegtäuschen. Insgesamt zu empfehlen!
