Even though we arrived relatively late in the evening and there were hardly any guests in the restaurant, we got everything we wanted. The young lady was very friendly and had a lot of humor. The food was excellent and the portion was more than enough. Clear 5 stars for that

We recently had dinner there. Super delicious food as you would expect from this restaurant. Staff always up for a joke and very polite. Can only be recommended. Keep it up.

The quality of the service is catastrophically poor. Slow, apparently confused service! Maybe there were a lot of guests...?!?! The food was acceptable, the red wine sucks!!! Riesling red wine???!!!

Since I stayed in the hotel directly next door, I decided to go to this restaurant to eat. I ordered a turkey steak, with the “Homemade” herb butter, the “Homemade” fried onions and garlic and chili. The turkey steak at €17.90 was dry fried and came with a few fries, the tiny side dishes at €2.50 each were all convenience and definitely not homemade. The menu says homemade, but in reality everything in the package comes from the retailer. When asked about the criticism, the owner of the shop, who was completely incapable of criticism, responded with the statement “these are our side dish sizes, the prices are on the menu!”. When I pointed out that the prices were a bit high for the quality and size delivered, I was told “you didn't have to order”. I replied that I didn't have to come here at all. The answer was “that’s right”. It will be exciting to see how the boss talks her way out of this. They have a strange way of dealing with criticism here, the food is very expensive compared to the quality delivered, nothing there is homemade. I can only advise all hotel visitors to walk a few meters further and not to stop here. Such tourist rip-offs are otherwise only seen in the Balkans and the tourist hotspots in Italy. €25.40 for a meal that wouldn't be acceptable in any canteen is a real outrage, but take a look at the pictures. Stay away from this store.

Super delicious food in a nice atmosphere. The service is also simply great, fast and courteous. Extra requests were no problem. The entire staff is friendly. It was also great that the boss personally came to the table to check whether everything was OK. An all-round successful evening with delicious food at totally fair prices! We'll definitely be back. Absolutely recommended.

Since we were guests at the hotel, we had time and wanted to have a nice evening, unfortunately things went differently. When we ordered, we told the waitress that we had time and that we would like to eat in peace. We were still working on the starter when the main course arrived. When asked, the restaurant manager reacted very unfriendly and indignantly. We left the restaurant without food, but with the full bill (we were directly threatened with the police) and pretty angry - that's not how we imagined the evening would be - unfortunately...

We had a birthday party here with 18 people. The positive first: the staff was consistently friendly and the food tasted good. The menu was discussed in detail in advance. Serving only Rotkäppchen champagne at a champagne reception for €6.90 per person is certainly completely excessive. As a starter we had an antipasti platter, which cost €18.90 per person, which we also think is translated (see pictures). A mushroom allergy was expressly pointed out in the preliminary discussion, but there were mushrooms in the vegetable side dish. The vegetable side dish was also charged at €6.90 per person and looked suspiciously like frozen goods. The ones ordered for the main course were bad. Beef fillets showed clear differences in size, and the degree of doneness did not correspond to what was ordered. For dessert: We chose the Black&White chocolate souffle on the menu. This is advertised on the menu and on various boards in the restaurant with vanilla ice cream. However, the soufflé was served without ice cream, just with fruit and powdered sugar. We were all surprised that the ice cream was missing. When we asked the staff, the ice cream was delivered late. We complained to the boss about this. She tried to sell the powdered sugar as the “white” component. We'll just leave this statement as it is. Conclusion of the evening: Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is absolutely not suitable.

The vegetables were neither seasonal nor from the market, but cheap, frozen vegetables from a bag - charging €6.90 for them is not justified. At over €30, the food is overpriced and the quality is below average. There is a need for action here.

The restaurant has a really nice ambience. The service is top, as is the food. The portions are generous and the price is reasonable. There is a large selection of wines and other drinks. I will gladly come again!

I had dinner there yesterday with a friend. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is friendly. But... My friend ordered a salad to eat that looked good, and the dressing was also reasonably good. There were carrots and zucchini on the salad that were so dried out that I had to complain about it. The waitress took up the complaint and the boss came back with a small bucket containing carrots and zucchini (also dry) to tell me "look, it was all fresh". It may have been fresh, but it was simply stored incorrectly and was dried out. To make a long story short, I come from the catering industry myself... For me, these "fresh" vegetables wouldn't come from the kitchen. There is nothing wrong with saying that you need to prepare, but it also needs to be stored properly. A damp cloth and a lid on it would be enough...

Super nice, cozy atmosphere with style and friendly service. The owners are also very friendly and accommodating. The food is freshly prepared and the portions are sufficient. In my opinion, value for money is top. I will gladly come again :)

My son and I ate at "Baumann's Restaurant" today, very lovely, full, modern furnishings to make you feel comfortable, service very attentive, the food was incredibly tasty 😋 my son had Sheep style schnitzel with spaetzle with cream sauce I had Bauer sucht Eater 🤤 with fries and salad with gravy 🤩 the sauce is very tasty 😋 [you can taste that it is homemade] We'd love to come back❤️

Beautiful location, great selection and very good service and delicious dishes

We were there in the summer, ordered a seasonal salad and expected fresh products. On top of the salad there were also green lettuce leaves (with a very good dressing) and grilled mushrooms, but underneath there was a pile of mayonnaise pasta salad (with pickles and canned peas/carrots). And I paid around €15 for that. My daughter had schnitzel with fries. The fries were very good, but the schnitzel was unfortunately very dry… I then asked the waitress (who didn't feel responsible for complaints) to call the boss because I wanted to talk about the salad. But she was standing at the counter talking to someone and didn't come. We left at some point... In total we paid €55 with drinks, which I think is overpriced for the quality. We won't come again, sorry.

A reason to come to Germersheim! Very good food, generous portions, lovingly prepared, only high quality ingredients. The sauces are homemade and fresh. Simply delicious. The furnishings are stylish and modern, the service is very friendly and accommodating. There is a great selection of Palatinate wines and freshly tapped Bellheimer. There is also a great selection of other drinks (gin, grappa, etc.). The schnitzels and steaks are highly recommended. So good, down-to-earth German cuisine still exists, with international influences at good prices!

Waren jetzt schon dreimal dort. Service ist gut und sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist qualitativ hochwertig und auch das Auge isst dort mit. Eine klare Empfehlung.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort, da wir im Hotel waren. Das Restaurant hat einen separaten Eingang und einen eher versteckten Zugang zum Hotel. Sehr sauber, der Tisch wurde frisch gewischt. Die Bedienung war sehr bemüht und freundlich. Das Essen wurde schnell serviert und war frisch zubereitet. Sehr lecker. Preis-/Leistung entspricht dem oberen Stand. Es gibt verschiedene Schnitzel-Varianten, die Beilage kann gewählt werden, was ich sehr gut finde. Die Salat-Bouwl war sehr gut und ausreichend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Haben unsere Hochzeit bei Baumanns gefeiert. Wir konnten keinen Beesseren Gastwirt finden. Es hat einfach alles gestimmt. Super leckeres Essen, sehr freundliches und aufmerksame Personal. Sehr schönes Ambiente. Keiner unsere Gäste hatte was auszusetzen. Wir bedanken uns ganz recht herzlich bei Nadja (Chefin) und ihrem Team für den gelungenen Tag.

Kennen Fam. Baumann schon länger und sind mit dem Essen mehr als Zufrieden. Fam. Baumann hat auch die Hochzeitsfeier meiner Mutter und ihren Mann ausgerichtet. Ich kann nur sagen, das Essen war einfach nur mega lecker, das Ambiente und der Service einfach perfekt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Ich kann nur sagen, alle Daumen hoch.

Heute war ich wieder bei Baumanns. Zum Glück am Sonntagmittag offen. Herzliche Begrüßung durch die Wirte. Auch bei der Tischauswahl flexibel. Heute außen im Schatten. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Sowohl für Vegetarier als auch Veganer als auch Schnitzelfans. Sehr große Portionen. Restaurant war heute sehr gut besucht. Trotzdem entspannt. Die Wirte haben alles im Griff. Der Weg zur Toilette ist eine kleine Weltreise. Aber sonst alles prima. Danke, dass es Euch gibt. Heute hatte ich Käsespätzle. Das letzte Mal Roastbeef mit leckerer Remoulade. Und ich habe schön dort gesessen und die Wirte sind außerordentlich herzlich zu allen und gastfreundlich.

Wir waren zu dritt essen. Haben gleich einen Tisch bekommen, als wir reservierten. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Der Cocktail war top! Es war sehr schön, fast schon romantisch im Restaurant ❤ Und das Team war sehr freundlich! Gerne wieder!!!

Nettes Restaurant im Souterrain des Hotels Germersheimer Hof. Ist aber getrennt vom Hotel. Hotelgäste haben somit keinen Vorteil bei den Speisen und Getränken. Das Essen sieht gut aus, ist aber bei den Fischeinlagen nicht ganz durch gegart. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist für einen kleinen Ort wie Germersheim überdimensioniert teuer. Die Bedienung macht einen sehr freundlichen Eindruck, ist aber schnell überfordert.

Das Essen ist super lecker und das Personal mehr als nur freundlich. Bin wirklich begeistert. Das Ambiete ist super es wird durch Nachfragen stets darauf geachtet, dass die Kundenzufriedenheit sichergestellt ist. Wer in Germersheim ist, muss auf jeden Fall einen Besuch in diesem wundervollen Lokal einplanen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall immer wieder kommen!

Heute Abend waren wir hier zur Eröffnung essen. Es war eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und sowohl der Service als auch die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich. Auch das Essen war ausgezeichnet und von guter Qualität. Wir sind wirklich sehr zufrieden und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Im Baumanns fühlt man sich einfach wohl!
