Nice view of the Moselle. We each had a winemaker's steak and we enjoyed it very much. Even though it was very busy we didn't have to wait very long for our food. The waitresses were very friendly.

We were there spontaneously, were warmly welcomed and even though we didn't have a reservation, there was a place. We were offered to take off our wardrobe. When choosing the food we were asked whether we were vegetarians and because of this we were served a specially designed starter (bread basket with various spreads). For the main course we had potato dumplings with lentils and schoales. Finally, a wine cream and the semolina slices. All dishes were extremely tasty. But what particularly stood out was the attentive service staff. She checked in on the room regularly, cleaned up quickly, and was extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the evening.

The spacious tables offer sufficient comfort in this historic setting, making it a special place to dine. The menu offers a selection of traditional local dishes, with game from the region playing a prominent role. The service, dressed in traditional outfits, is always friendly and extremely hospitable, which completes your experience. An absolute must on the menu is the venison stew, a dish that is full of flavor and perfectly reflects the regional cuisine. The green lamb's lettuce is also a nice, fresh addition to the dishes. Of course, a classic Wiener Schnitzel should not be missed; it is prepared here in a traditional way and is highly recommended. The wine list offers an extensive selection, especially from the surrounding region. A highlight is the Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling from Dr. Pauly-Bergweiler, a wine that goes beautifully with savory dishes and game specialties. Conclusion Dr Weinstube is a perfect combination of history, atmosphere and gastronomy.
