Food was delivered. Drinks were available on site. Staff is friendly and helpful. You didn't have to wait long to order your drinks.

After a long time we were back in the “Athen” restaurant in Xanten. The reserved table was kindly assigned to us by an employee. When we received the menu, we were amazed. Compared to the website, the offer was significantly reduced and the prices were extremely raised. It would make sense to update the prices on the website so that the customer can adapt to this. The starters were good and tasty. The main course with gyros was unfortunately borderline. The gyro was extremely fatty and not crispy in any way. Various pieces tasted slightly spoiled. As a result, I didn't eat most of the gyro. The liver was okay. The rice tasted bland. The dish of baked chicken fillet was okay, but overpriced at around €23. Furthermore, the wine (supermarket wine) was served from a 2 liter bottle. €6.40 for 0.2 liters of wine is quite sporty. In general the price/performance ratio is not suitable. The service by a second employee wasn't very friendly and when it came to billing, they didn't even make an effort to give out the change. Well then. Unfortunately, the very nice ambience cannot make up for the shortcomings. It will probably be a long time, if not forever, before we visit the restaurant again.

Exceptionally good food, attractively presented. Well-trained service, very friendly. A little more expensive. The noise in the anteroom was a bit inappropriate.

We didn't like Kloibers with its Austrian cuisine at all. The tarte flambée was mediocre, as you can get it almost everywhere and the Kaiserschmarren was not sweet enough and had far too little powdered sugar with counted raisins (7 pieces) The cola I drank had too little carbonation and looked more like colored water. All in all, a reason for us not to come here again. Given the prices, we would have expected a nicer ambience and more attentive service.

Exceptional restaurant for a wide audience. Very friendly service, there was a lot going on that evening and the service was still quick and extremely friendly. I ordered pizza and it was very tasty. Relaxed atmosphere and had a lot of fun. Thank you and I will definitely come back

The food was very, very tasty. We were there with 7 people and everyone was completely satisfied. Unfortunately, the lights will go out in this attractive restaurant on December 15, 2024. A return there is therefore not likely (coming from Grefrath, Viersen district).

Just Tried again and unfortunately was disappointed again. Went there on a wonderful sunny day and sat outside where there was self-service and, to my regret, there was beer poured from bottles into the glass. The food later was ok but not at all special. Price performance absolutely not justified. A portion of fries (which are really very small) for over 5 euros 😃 The service was again a shame. A burger was simply wrong. When asked (by a child) the response was rude and the burger was taken away without comment. Fortunately, the cellar that brought the next one apologized for the store. More from the waiters and you would have more returning guests. Oh yes, the special requests were not fulfilled for a single dish. And I'm talking about simple things like leaving the tomato off the burger. I won't take the long journey again. CORRECTION TO ANSWER: This is simply not true! There was definitely bottled beer otherwise I wouldn't tell! Staff is in short supply, which I understand, but the entire beer garden was definitely not served at that time and you had to get the drinks yourself!!! The fries were also charged at more than €4.10. It's a shame that the criticism isn't simply accepted and improved, but unfortunately I already suspected something like that. You don't win customers that way

Service, food and ambience really very good!

Had a meal there spontaneously (a restaurant on the market square didn't want to offer us something to eat). We found that what we ate was very tasty and sufficient. The service was very good and friendly.

Food delicious, staff friendly. It's a shame that the bell from the kitchen constantly sounded very loud... I've eaten there several times and always happily and without the loud ringing. So far I haven't sat in the entrance area, but towards the back. It's a shame that the toilet is in the basement. 2 older guests returned to the table and with my partner/wheelchair user I don't eat here.
