I was a guest at a wedding. The location is in the middle of a garden club. The food was good, the people were friendly. Wouldn't mind being invited here again.

We have already been invited to a few celebrations at the Matecki Inn. We have always enjoyed the food very much (schnitzel, sauces, fries, currywurst...) and the service was extremely quick.

We arrived at the restaurant at 6 p.m. A table was reserved. We didn't get our drinks until 6:40 p.m. The food was served at 7:45 p.m., both of which were definitely too long, and there was little conversation with the staff about the long wait. The guests at the next table, who arrived later than us, got their food and drinks before us. They were always just told, "Coming right away." The service is different when you consider that the average price per person is €35-€40. Since all meat products are coated with spices beforehand, the spices burn on the stone, leaving a black residue. Not good. There's also no functioning exhaust system; the entire room is filled with smoke. Only after we opened a window did cross ventilation occur, which solved this problem. Changing the linen after the visit was appropriate. This was our first and, unfortunately, last time. A shame.

Great ambience, friendly service and unbeatable pizza

First, the good news...the server was friendly and funny. The pleasant ambiance is familiar, but it's not the essence of a restaurant visit. We were disappointed. My peas and carrots were from a can without any seasoning...they tasted of nothing. The turkey schnitzel was pounded flat without even a hint of salt/pepper or anything like that. The croquettes were from a frozen package...I'd expect that from a restaurant like this. My cream sauce was a white mass thickened with a sauce thickener, also completely unseasoned...it started to form lumps after just three minutes. My daughter's pork fillet tasted very strongly of barnyard...the tomato soup was also thickened and not made with fresh tomatoes. There isn't a single main course for vegetarians... I would have liked a salad with turkey strips, salmon, tuna, cheese, or something similar on the menu. Nothing...it's only available with some dishes. It was all there once...a shame...

Excellent food, always satisfied, until it arrived at the table too cold. Otherwise, really tasty and homely.
