I had a lovely evening with my family. The food was delicious as always, and our wishes were fulfilled to our complete satisfaction. We would love to come back again.

Delicious food. Great selection in all categories. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The value for money is excellent; you definitely get your money's worth. The location isn't exactly inviting, but I'm not that picky. I come for the food, not to admire the decor.

I would have given zero stars if possible. We picked up the food on-site—a mistake, because apparently, customers picking up their orders get the absolute worst. The packaging is awful. The gyros is soggy and not crispy at all. There are no "medallions" to be seen—the flavor is completely unseasoned. Furthermore, I specifically ordered it without onions—as you can see, I was served a generous amount of unwanted onions. It's an outrage to serve such garbage to customers. Charging €30 for this rubbish is unacceptable. I will not recommend this place. It doesn't surprise me at all that the staff has never heard of friendliness. The tzatziki was okay.

We had a delicious meal at Korali. High-quality food, friendly service. Large portions, so it's no problem to take home what you can't finish.

Last Saturday, the two of us went to this restaurant. The food was really good and plentiful, so I'd gladly give it a full 5 stars. I'm deducting one star for the service because we were asked what we wanted to eat as soon as we ordered drinks. Sorry, sometimes you need a moment to look at the menu. The food arrived quite quickly, less than 15 minutes later, despite the restaurant being full of tables and guests. The owner was very attentive and constantly moving around. The atmosphere, however, was terrible—very loud and echoing; we definitely couldn't have a proper conversation. After 45 minutes, we left because we also got the impression that everything had to be rushed. We definitely won't be coming back.

The food was really good – the dishes from the lunch menu were delicious. But what really disappointed me was the lack of a welcome drink of ouzo. The atmosphere was very loud and annoying, and the absence of the ouzo detracted from the overall experience even more. Instead, they provided new dishes with slightly less topping. They're definitely cutting corners in the wrong place.

Very delicious food. Reservations are recommended. The price/performance ratio is excellent. The portions are perfectly adequate. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Addendum: everything we've eaten so far has been delicious; friends of ours come there especially from Wesel.

The food was delicious, and definitely not expensive! Honestly, where else can you eat and drink with 10 people for €170? And 5 desserts too!! Everything was deliciously prepared, the service was great, and it's a restaurant where you can be yourself. The restrooms were clean. The service was friendly and very quick. Fantastic, and thanks!

We've been regulars at Korali for years and can recommend it without reservation. Always make reservations in advance for evenings or weekends, even with large groups.

People have been coming there for years, always from the Sauerland region. The previous generation was top-notch. Now comes the generation that wants to make euros. The new ones will mess up a lot of things. Sometimes they have ouzo, sometimes not pana kotta, but no ouzo. They were treated like filth. Two couples always enjoyed coming to the Greek restaurant. Now the Greek restaurant has run out of steam. Many of our friends don't come anymore. It was great, but other Greeks couldn't be served without stress. Everything came to an end. We have been regulars at Restaurant Korali for many years. The previous owner was always very hospitable and friendly to all guests. Since the change of ownership, we've been there more often, but the hospitality and friendliness have steadily declined. Last Sunday we were there again; there was no friendly greeting and the question...yes, please... After we said we had reserved a table for today, we were shown to it. We were still standing in front of our table, taking off our jackets, when the waitress came over to hand us the menus and, even though we weren't seated yet, asked for our orders. The appetizers, salad, and bread were carelessly placed on the table. The appetizer was so oversalted it was inedible. Then came the main courses: the meat was only lukewarm and tough, the fries were soggy, and the tzatziki was again completely oversalted. The quantities on the plates have also become increasingly smaller. Unfortunately, the restaurant is no longer recommended.

Positives - Incredibly fast, friendly, and well-organized service with great nerves - The welcome drink from the kitchen (bread, herb butter, a small salad, and ouzo) was on the table about a minute after ordering - Drinks were pleasantly cold - Prices unexpectedly very reasonable, satisfactory value for money - Good, central location - Outdoor terrace - Well-maintained, clean restroom Negatives - The building seems to be showing its age; there's an old (?) water damage on the ceiling, the walls are poorly covered with OSB panels, and the interior feels dated - The enormous noise and hustle and bustle create a cafeteria-like atmosphere, and I personally can only take my hat off to the staff. I couldn't work like that and remain always friendly, courteous, and above all, organized - Unfortunately, it was noticeable that the salad had probably been prepared in advance and had been sitting for a while; it was no longer crisp and already a bit warm - A quick inquiry about whether the ouzo was even being consumed would have been nice, especially for the restaurant, since no one at the table wanted to drink it /could, it's really well-intentioned, but if it's not consumed at all, it's also a bit wasted. - I would have preferred a more balanced ratio of fries and rice. For me, there were too many fries and a tablespoon of rice too few. The plate looked a bit heartlessly presented. I had to search for the meat in my dish. In my opinion, it would make sense to serve the chicken breast fillet whole or just cut it into pieces. It looks nicer, and the guest has a chance to identify it as a whole. In conclusion, we'd happily come back on a quieter day and try other dishes. I assume it was just too crowded and we might have been a bit unlucky with our food selection.

We've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years and are always amazed at how good and delicious the food is. Even under new management. Some dishes have undergone slight changes, which we can only rate as a very positive. Everything here is delicious, from the appetizers to the main courses and desserts. The eggplant and zucchini are not at all greasy, the steak is very tender, the fish tastes great, and the gyros and all the other Greek delicacies are always freshly prepared and delicious. The new owner and his wife, as well as the rest of the staff, are always very friendly and welcoming. Since the restaurant is very busy, you should reserve a table if possible. We always enjoy coming here, especially since our dog is welcome too. 👍❤️😍 An update from July 20, 2025 😀 They have the best calamari here 👍👍😋 but of course the other dishes are also super delicious and the owners are very friendly and attentive!!

I ate there for the first time today and was extremely satisfied. Great service, delicious food! A huge thank you to everyone who helped me when I fell with my crutches. Everyone was there immediately and waited with me for the ambulance and even offered me something to drink! Thank you so much, I'm doing well so far!

Great food and not too expensive. Waitress saw that our table was wobbly and immediately slid a folded beer mat under a table leg. Portion of food was just right for me. The salad starter had a bit too much dressing. It was very warm inside.

The food is very good. But the staff is much more relaxed and less tense, so you don't feel like you have to rush to get your food quickly.

As for the place itself, it's very nice, minimalist, but you can see that it's a Greek restaurant. The dishes themselves, the culinary peak, weren't bad either. Very good food, but nothing outstanding. On the other hand, a very big plus is the price for the size of the portions, cheap and a lot of food. As for restaurants, to come and eat a good dinner at a reasonable price, I highly recommend it

There was a time when you could eat extremely well here. Unfortunately, it has declined considerably. White wine in a water glass, conditions so overwhelming that you're hardly ever seen, let alone spoken to, and even the chef himself had to step in. The acoustics were so extreme that a conversation at a normal volume was impossible. The food, however, was good and tasty, and the portions were reasonable.

My wife and I were spontaneously in town looking for something to eat. After we couldn't find a seat inside, we sat outside the restaurant. It was worth it from start to finish! Great service, incredibly delicious food, and reasonable prices. We'd be happy to go back and highly recommend it 👌 The sole in white wine sauce is my recommendation 🥰

The food was delicious and really great for the price – the value for money is right here. The two male waiters were very friendly and attentive, which made the stay pleasant. Somewhat unusual, but interesting: An Asian waitress in the Greek restaurant. Unfortunately, she seemed very distant and showed no emotion – during our approximately two-hour visit, we didn't see her smile once. The benches along the wall were covered in stains – cleaning or a different, easy-care cover would be recommended. The restrooms in the basement deserve special mention: modern and very clean. Overall, a good experience with a few minor drawbacks.

We walked in here on a Thursday evening without a reservation. It was quite full, but a spot was made for us by the friendly staff. The menu was only in German, and despite it being busy, the waiter took the time to explain various dishes to us. The food was really delicious and not expensive! Highly recommended! Food is becoming less and less, fries are only a handful. Very little, fries are hand-handled and then served in the kitchen as you could see. After eating you are still hungry because there is so little. It was still held by the previous owners. I'd rather spend a few euros more at another restaurant.
