Very tasty food and incredibly good value for money. We always enjoy being here!

We walked in here on a Thursday evening without a reservation. It was quite full, but a spot was made for us by the friendly staff. The menu was only in German, and despite it being busy, the waiter took the time to explain various dishes to us. The food was really delicious and not expensive! Highly recommended! Please note, you can only pay in cash here

Food is becoming less and less, fries are only a handful. Very little, fries are hand-handled and then served in the kitchen as you could see. After eating you are still hungry because there is so little. It was still held by the previous owners. I'd rather spend a few euros more at another restaurant.

We missed that we had to call ahead to make a reservation. Depsite all of this (and not speaking German very well), they immediately seated me and my family of five at a table in their packed restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice, and didn't feel claustrophobic at all even though it was a crowded, small restaurant. We were quickly served by very friendly servers, the food was incredible, we didn't have to wait long (again, despite it being packed), and was relatively cheap (73 euro for 5 people including 7 drinks). Very highly recommend!

The Greek restaurant is really an insider tip! The prices are super fair and you really get a lot for your money. Particularly noteworthy is the tzatziki – creamy, fresh and perfectly seasoned – a real treat. The other dishes on the menu are also fantastic, from the classic souvlaki skewers to the delicious appetizers. The service is friendly and attentive, you always feel welcome. If you are looking for good, authentic Greek food at fair prices, you should definitely visit this restaurant!

We have been going to Korali for many years. I usually get takeaway because the background noise is too loud for us. Update 11/23/24 Dear korali team, increase the prices if you cannot maintain the quality. Meat tough or dried out. Sauce? ..none to be found. You could count fried potatoes. After 4 attempts this year we are cured. Change of ownership unfortunately disappointing!

If you like large portions and want to pay little, this is the place for you. The quality is ok. Please do not leave the skewers on the grill for too long. We would be happy to come back and even take the almost hour-long bus ride from Mülheim to Oberhausen. We went to Korali for the first time last night and absolutely loved it. Clear menu, fast and very friendly and attentive service team, even though every table was occupied. The dishes, mostly down-to-earth Greek home cooking, were served to everyone at the table at the same time at a sensationally good price-performance ratio. Many thanks to the kitchen and the service. We'll definitely be back soon. Update on April 20, 2024: 5 stars plus We kept our promise and had dinner at Korali with two friends last night. We each had two dolmades with tzatziki, saganaki as well as two Hercules and two fish plates. It tasted really good again. The dishes came to the table at the right time interval and, above all, at the same time. The service was very friendly and attentive. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. We've been enjoying eating there regularly for several years. The restaurant is usually very busy - because there is good food, very friendly staff and good prices with decent portions ;-) Reservations are therefore recommended - but there is usually a place for two, even on spontaneous visits.

Had a delicious meal at this restaurant. Make a reservation because it is often full. In advance you get a salad, baguette and ouzo. I would have served that ouzo with dessert, but we certainly appreciated it! This time I ate the mix fish Fisch Teller (115) and Herkules Teller (61), tasted good and portion was good enough for us. Definitely try the starters next time. There is plenty of choice with all kinds of tasty dishes. Also important, food is served hot! That makes us happy. Bring cash otherwise you won't be able to pay! Update: we had a delicious meal there again. This time we reserved in advance because it was almost full. This time the starter is fried eggplant with tomato and tzatziki... delicious and dishes 54 and 55. Service is nice again and served super quickly. 🤩 There were more eateries like this. If you are sitting in the middle of the restaurant on such evenings you hear a lot of chatter, talking and hustle and bustle, and it is a bit much in terms of stimuli. Otherwise great!

Today we had d. 48th wedding anniversary and were thrilled. d.Friendliness of the staff of this family business. Furthermore, it was a very good meal and a very good price-performance ratio. The portions were plentiful and tasty. The service and the service were simply great. The fact that something like this still exists today was very pleasing for us. We have already been to Korali a few times. The food is always very tasty. I am amazed at how tender the meat is every time. The ambience has a Greek touch, has many tables, both inside and outside, and the smell of the country's typical cuisine permeates the restaurant, very pleasant and appetizing. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right. It's just a real shame that you can't pay by card but only in cash. But definitely worth a visit :)

Today we found our way into the small shop by chance. It doesn't look like much in terms of ambience, but that's not the most important thing. There was a loving atmosphere in the whole shop and you could tell that there was a lot of passion put into this. The food was very tasty and absolutely cheap, especially the prices on the lunch menu are unbeatable.

Some dishes have been slightly changed, but we can only rate this as very positive. Everything here is delicious, from starters to main courses and dessert. The aubergines and zucchini are not greasy at all, the steak is very tender, the fish tastes great and the gyros and all the other Greek delicacies are always prepared fresh and delicious. The new owner and his wife as well as the rest of the staff are always very friendly and warm. Since the restaurant is very busy, you should reserve a table if possible. Changed experience under new management – ​​mixed feelings We visited Korali Restaurant on Saturday evening with a large group of 13 people. The reservation went smoothly and the familiar location was unchanged, even if it is not particularly visually appealing. However, the restaurant has changed noticeably under the new management. The traditional bread with dip is still served, but the new dip wasn't quite to my taste. The food was served correctly and completely, but the portions were smaller and the quality of the food was no longer comparable to before. The gyro was particularly disappointing as it fell far short of our expectations. The service was acceptable, although we had to wait a long time for the bill, which resulted in a family member missing his train. What is positive, however, is the friendly gesture of giving the birthday child a bottle of wine. What particularly bothers me, however, is the handling of customer reviews. Apparently, critical reviews are being deleted, which undermines trust in the authenticity of the reviews. A family member left an honest review that was deleted, which is unacceptable to me. Overall, the experience at Korali has changed and unfortunately not for the better. We will not visit this restaurant again.

Greek restaurant but gyros really subpar. Cut way too thick, tasteless and dry. Very attractively priced. Service was OK. Atmosphere/ambience is no longer nice or contemporary. We won't be coming back again. Oh and a liver shouldn't be mushy either...

Good food at affordable prices. The service staff is very friendly. You can also order and pick up your food there by phone. Since the restaurant is always busy, reservations should always be made in advance. Furthermore, it must be mentioned that only cash is true here. In other words: card payments are not (yet?) possible here.
