An absolute 10/10 for us! Every time we eat here, we've never been disappointed. The food is simply fabulous – fresh, incredibly delicious, and prepared with love. Add to that a cozy, rustic atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. The service is beyond excellent: friendly, attentive, and warm. If you want the perfect combination of enjoyment, ambiance, and hospitality, Zum Falken is the place to be. Always a highlight! Our recommendation: Zwiebelrostbraten 😍

I had dinner there with my fiancée last Saturday for my birthday. Even though I had explicitly mentioned it was my birthday and my fiancée had called them to ask them to prepare something, when we arrived, unfortunately, it wasn't the case......!!!!!!! Because you only turn fifty once, and generally, you don't get anything on the house.......!!!!!!! When my fiancé went with us to Norddeich for her birthday last year, they had decorated the table and didn't say anything!!!!!!!!! Well, they still have to learn things like that, how to please a guest............

The food was good, the server was very nice. But... I called and asked for the table to be set up a bit because it was my fiancé's birthday. The only thing was cloth napkins. I was assured over the phone that the table would be set. What a shame‼️

Four of us ate there and had a very good time. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The rump steak was cooked to perfection. We'd be happy to come back anytime and highly recommend it.

We were here spontaneously. With a lot of luck we got a place. For dinner there was a platter for 2. This was really tasty except for one thing. But a breaded schnitzel from the deep fryer has no place on it. Therefore only 4 stars

We went for lunch today. We ordered a mixed grill plate and a schnitzel with champions. Plus a soup and a salad. The meat was very good. Nice and juicy and tasty. The champions also freshened up. We were there late and very spontaneously. Very friendly staff and the food was great. We had a platter for two people, but three people couldn't manage the quantity. The taste is really good and the meat is grilled beautifully. We reserved a table straight away for our next visit to Oberhausen. A compliment to the service and especially the kitchen.

We have known the restaurant for almost 20 years and I have to say that nothing has changed. The hospitality and outstanding service have remained. Anyone who complains that you get frozen croquettes or something similar... (I would like to say that you can get these products in 9 out of 10 stores these days and they are definitely often no less bad.) .... The question should be asked whether he is then willing to pay a different, significantly higher price...?! The price-performance ratio is consistently great in this restaurant. You get delicious food at a fair price - almost cheap by today's standards! Price. The meat in particular tastes great at any time, you get a small but generous starter salad; Special requests will be accommodated at any time; & the attentive nature of the service staff is top. We'd love to come back any time!

Yesterday the four of us were guests here for the second time. Service was good. The food we ordered came quickly. Unfortunately we had to realize again that the supplement was a finished frozen product. This time there were ready-made potato wedges. On the first visit there were ready-made dumplings. It was a shame because the quality of the meat was good. Maybe this should be reconsidered in the future.

Everything was very tight, the schnitzel was more breading than meat. I wouldn't order it again, but the steaks and grill plates looked good.

I have known this restaurant since it opened about 50 years ago. It is a restaurant with a focus on Balkan cuisine. Other dishes are also offered, the atmosphere in the restaurant is uncomfortable. The service is friendly and quick. If you want to visit the restaurant on the weekend, you should reserve a place in advance. The restaurant can be easily reached by bus 🚌 960 and SB 94, stop in front of the restaurant. A restaurant that I can expressly recommend.

We were in this location for the first time. We were very impressed with the service and the food. In my opinion the price for the food was very fair and almost a bit cheap. The ambience is absolutely fine. We were the only table that didn't have a candle, which was a bit of a shame. We'll definitely be back.

Had an afternoon meal here with four people last weekend, Mix grill. Delicious extensive food, to our surprise we first got a soup beforehand, then a salad, the main course and a dessert and schnapps afterwards. Friendly owner, helpful. It was so good that we ate here for 2 afternoons.

You can even see from the menu book that the restaurant is closely connected to the local area. There is a menu for seniors. I wonder if it's still an honest store. As the person at the table next to me said, “Everything is delicious!” A very nice dinner time.

A typical Ruhr area restaurant with home-style cuisine and a decent selection, mostly of meat dishes. The service is really courteous and always friendly. The furnishings are a bit old, but that's exactly what gives the restaurant its cozy charm. We are completely satisfied.

Great Djuwetsch rice in a fruity variation that was previously unknown to me. Great “Grill Mix” plate from the lunch menu, with starter soup and dessert. In the evening you should make a reservation. My tip: Muckalica; best with the dry red wine from Montenegro (a revelation). Very good service! My Balkan recommendation for Oberhausen! Keep it up!

Meine Freundin und ich waren heute hier in der Mittagszeit zum Essen. Das Essen war hervorragend, der Service super freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell, das Ambiente urgemütlich. Ich habe einen Mix-Grill bestellt (Tageskarte) bewtellt, davor gab es eine Spinatsuppe (hatte ich zuvor noch nie gehört, geschweige denn gegessen, war aber sehr lecker, auch wenn sie anfangs etwas "unheimlich" aussah 😊 ), Zum Abschluss gab es rote Grütze mit Vanillesoße zum Dessert und natürlich eine "Julischka". Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal dort. Vielen Dank für alles!

Das Essen ist einfach lecker und reichhaltig. Die Bedienung super freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir mögen die Einrichtung, viel Holz, gemütlich, rustikal. So wie früher. 🤗🤩👍👍
