Very tasty food, but a bit expensive for a fast food restaurant.

Very tasty dishes. We have ordered there once or twice in 5 years. Among other things, 2 party pizzas with toppings of your choice, which were simply delicious and enjoyed by everyone. I can also absolutely recommend the pizza calzone. Fresh ingredients with a pleasant taste. Delicious mild perperoni, great black olives, a very juicy ham and chicken rotisserie meat. A very tasty, juicy but by no means soggy calzone. (if not the best calzone 🤩) Price performance top. Delivery is always quick, around 20 to 30 minutes. If it takes longer, this will be communicated to the customer or if it is even quicker, you will also be asked whether the order can be delivered earlier. The staff is also always very friendly and fond of children. A recommendation from me to order there.

We went to a memorial service at Café Herrmann. We received friendly and competent support during short-term planning. After the funeral, the rooms offered enough space to sit together with family, friends and acquaintances in an appropriate, quiet setting. The food offered was tasty and all guests were very satisfied.

We went to the restaurant on a Saturday evening and ordered burgers and drinks. Unfortunately the air inside is very bad, we had to wait 45 minutes for the drinks and 1 hour for the food. The burgers and side dishes arrived lukewarm and the price-performance ratio wasn't really right. The portions are pretty small for the price, the vegan burger isn't anything special and the sweet potato fries were mostly small crumbs. The service, however, was very friendly and attentive. When we were asked if we enjoyed the food, we answered honestly. Our feedback was then communicated to the boss and he spoke to us and said that the drinks were on the house. That was very friendly and we didn't expect it, but we were still happy when we didn't have to wait any longer and were able to leave the restaurant. Overall, the processes didn't really seem smooth and as if the staff weren't well trained.

People come here especially when the weather is nice because of the beautiful view. Drinks and snacks in self-service are ok, Heineken on tap and chorizo ​​stand out a bit from the standard.

Wir waren enttäuscht von dem Herrn der uns bedient hat, sehr unfreundlich, so geht man nicht mit Gästen um, und das war nicht das erste mal. Bedient wurden wir dann überhaupt nicht mehr, sind dann gegangen. Vielleicht wäre vom Chef mal ein Gespräch mit dem großen Herrn (Bedienung) nötig.

What is unfortunately a problem: it takes a long time (really unreasonably long) for the order to arrive. We waited over an hour, despite repeated requests. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t a highlight, but rather “discount”-like. The people are actually very nice and try hard, but at least in the outdoor restaurant they don't get it organized. Unfortunately it seems pretty chaotic despite the best location. Unfortunately we won't be coming again.

You can eat really well at Gastwerk Engelshof. The price is reasonable and the service is attentive, quick and friendly. There are plenty of free parking spaces on the street. The decor of the restaurant is more reminiscent of a village pub, but I can live with that quite well. If you like to drink beer and are at war with Kölsch, you can at least get an Altenmünster, even if it “only” comes from a bottle.

Great atmosphere, nice ambience and good music

I travel a lot. This pub at this airport is exceptional. Great service, exceptional customers, exceptional waiters and waitresses. This is the only airport pub I will return to for sure.
