Edo Dangast: A Valentine’s Day menu in a class of its own On February 14th we experienced a culinary highlight at Edo in Dangast that set standards. As soon as we entered the restaurant we felt the special atmosphere: stylish, inviting and with a warm hospitality that characterized the entire evening. The Valentine's Day menu was a harmonious composition of the finest ingredients, masterfully prepared and perfectly presented. The start with the beetroot carpaccio was convincing with creamy sheep's cheese, crunchy pistachios and fine herbs - a fresh, elegant starter that left you wanting more. The following wild mushroom soup with smoked salmon and dill developed a deep aroma and demonstrated the house's art of creating a taste experience from simple ingredients. For the main course we chose the Five Spice duck leg, which was served with a wonderful combination of chilli, sesame and leek. The tender, aromatic duck was cooked to perfection and was perfectly complemented with Asian-inspired flavors. The sweet finale was the edo cheesecake, a dessert that was not only a little work of art in terms of taste but also visually - creamy, airy and perfectly balanced with a delicate acidity. But it wasn't just the kitchen that impressed us that evening. The service was attentive, warm and professional at the same time - a host who looked after his guests with real passion. The Edo in Dangast is more than just a restaurant - it is an oasis for foodies who value excellent cuisine and exceptional service. An evening that we will remember for a long time. We'll definitely be back!

Very uncomfortable chairs, small tables and everything made to look like a bar. Four of us were there right when the store opened and had made reservations. After ordering, the first minus point was that the curry sauce we ordered was not there. The baguette we ordered was already in the oven. How can you choose anything else? So the only thing left was another sauce. You have to get your own drinks from the fridge. Find your own bottle opener. The cutlery is so blurry that it's easier to crush the baguette with it than to cut it. So all in all not right for me. Therefore only 2 stars. With the sauce we ordered beforehand, it would certainly have tasted better.

Today we were able to enjoy a really nice evening with our friends in the Neumärker restaurant: It was perfect all around, pleasant atmosphere, delicious food and warm service - a nightcap in the Marktlücke complemented our evening nicely - thanks to the Neumärker and Marktlücke team 👍😎

Easter brunch for €38.50 per person. The quality and selection of the food was ok/good. The homemade iced tea was great, the pancakes still had room for improvement. Apart from that, there were rolls from the bakery as well as frozen baked goods. Unfortunately, the service staff weren't really proactive, so the dishes piled up at the table of 5 people. The first time I returned the dirty plate over the counter myself. Unfortunately, there was no place to put dirty dishes, probably because the staff should have done it (more often). For example, the filter coffee cups were not cleared away even though you had ordered something else, which then made it even fuller and took up space. Capacity utilization was moderate and the density of service staff was quite high. It's especially not great when you see three young service staff chatting relaxed behind the counter while you're waiting for someone to help you. There still needs to be some training. Nevertheless, a good and recommendable address with excellent charm.

Personally, I think €4.20 for a 0.35L Coke is pretty steep. I can understand that, though. BUT... I wasn't asked what size I wanted, which I find very unprofessional and rude for a restaurant like that.

We order here regularly, no matter what we order, it always tastes very good. Delivery is also quick and the food is hot. If the wrong delivery is made, a replacement will be available quickly.

A very good memory card and very nice operation.

A little goat cheese, 3 x 1€ pieces, salad with goat cheese for the main course. It's a shame because the salad was really tasty.

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Aber von gehobener Küche kann wirklich keine Rede sein. Die Ideen sind gut,aber die Umsetzung auf Lehrlingsniveau: Caesars Salad ohne schmeckbares Parmesan , ohne Croutons, Bacon überhaupt nicht knusprig. Die 3 verschiedenen Fischfilets waren tot gebraten. Der Flammlachs war gut gebraten aber viel zu salzig. Ein enttäuschender Abend.
