A little goat cheese, 3 x 1€ pieces, salad with goat cheese for the main course. It's a shame because the salad was really tasty.

First of all: It was our first time at Emma. My wife had pasta and I had pizza. We each had a mixed salad. As a drink we had a homemade lemonade. The atmosphere is extremely cozy and modern. It's somewhat reminiscent of a cocktail bar, in a positive sense. You can have a drink here with friends, but you can also eat very comfortably. The service was absolutely fine. The waitresses (we had four ladies and gentlemen during the evening) were all very friendly and super fast. Our drinks and food also came at a reasonable speed. The cleanliness is one hundred percent in every corner. But now comes the big highlight: the pizza! I don't know when or if I ever had such a perfect pizza! Wafer-thin dough, perfect sauce, excellent taste. I am absolutely and completely thrilled. This restaurant is a great recommendation for everyone!

Good service and delicious food. We had a good evening here. The dessert with strawberry ice cream is particularly recommended, as are plaice fillet and schnitzel.

We were there for lunch. I chose the goat cheese salad. I found this rather unimaginative. The goat cheese itself was good, otherwise lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers, corn and pineapple, which tasted more like canned than fresh. With a salad as a main course, I would expect at least a slice of bread and a well-filled plate. After the consistently positive reviews, I was probably just expecting more. My companion's pizza looked good; Maybe I just chose the wrong dish; ) The restaurant itself is really nice, the seating is good and the service was attentive.

We had dinner with our 4 children on Friday evening and were lucky to get a table without a reservation. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor is very chic and modern and the most important thing: all the dishes we ordered (various pizzas, pasta and grilled plates) tasted great. The portion of spaghetti could have been a little larger for our gluttonous teenager, but since the pizzas were so big he was able to eat it. We'll be back, next time with a reservation

Was there for coffee, unfortunately it was not possible to choose a free table, only in a niche with three free tables. Partly understandable because it was already set for dinner in the evening, but the location is so big that there could be another way. And above all, the rest of the tables were completely empty!

Very good service, delicious food, nice atmosphere. And it's certainly all worth the price, because the restaurant was well attended despite the slightly higher prices. That's why it's my fault that I don't appreciate the overall package and therefore find it a bit too expensive. Anyone who would like to spend a little more money on good food in a sophisticated atmosphere will definitely be in good hands here.

After a short discussion, we were able to choose an alternative main course, which came promptly and quickly. That was really great, customer-friendly and accommodating. The Emma Marktblick restaurant has plenty of space, both inside and outside. It is hidden away from the mainstream. Lots of parking spaces nearby. Mostly Italian food is served. Fried potatoes are also included. Lots of cake and lots of dessert. There is a children's menu. The cake looks so great. You have to come back in the afternoon for coffee and cake. My impression is that this restaurant is a pearl of Varel.

Price/performance: 8/10 Taste: 8/10 Ambience: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Veggie: 7/10 Even back when it opened, it was an enrichment for Varel's restaurant culture. Here you can have a really nice meal, but also a drink. The service has always been top notch and so has the atmosphere. Reservations should definitely be made on weekends. Delicious food, something for everyone. Vegetarians will also find some delicious dishes.

We've definitely eaten better. The frozen vegetables from the councilman's plate were simply boiled in salt water. The hollandaise sauce comes from the package and the salad dressing also comes from the bottle. The piccata pasta was too soft. The meat had no egg-parmesan breading. The creme brulee was very good.

Super nettes aufmerksames Personal. Ob es schmeckt wurde abgefragt. Allerdings wie in den meisten Restaurants nicht, ob noch ein weiteres Getränk gewünscht ist. Man kann ja auch einfach bestellen. Wir hatten vorab Bruschetta und als Hauptgang das Doradenfilet (glasig) und Piccata (saftig). Sehr lecker. Auf den Punkt gewürzt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Super tasty Frisian spirit with a great toast

Due to a nice private event, we looked for a supposedly nice restaurant to celebrate it. We were given a seat by the windows facing the inner courtyard, the room that was slightly elevated with a fireplace. Unfortunately the fireplace wasn't on. It was very cool and whenever the smokers who were right in the entrance area went out, the cold air reached every corner. Very unpleasant and the smoke also wafted in as you had to pass through the group of smokers when entering and leaving. We were warmly welcomed and ordered a bottle of wine while we looked at the menu. It took a comparatively long time until the wine was brought to us. You carelessly put a wine cooler on the table, put the bottle in it and left. No rehearsal, presentation or drinking took place. The food was absolutely fine. No outstanding art, quality as it should be. Since there was only sparse attention, we saved ourselves a dessert so that we wouldn't have to wait a long time for it. Changing service staff at the table didn't make things any better. So you can in emma. Although you go out to eat and get good food, you shouldn't expect too much beyond that. The prices were a bit overpriced in comparison.

By chance I reserved a table for 4 people today. When my family and I arrived we were all surprised and delighted by the ambience and the friendly welcome. When ordering, the super friendly waitress immediately asked in the kitchen whether it was possible to cook a dish vegan. Even when a salad with dressing was accidentally brought to the table, it was exchanged immediately after a small wave. Really great. The food was fantastic, super fresh and delicious. The dessert was also incredibly delicious. All the waitresses were great, very friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. The boss (?) also served. Really great and pleasant. When we left we were thanked for our visit. And sincerely and not simply said. We returned the thanks. It was a really, really nice evening for us thanks to the great service and delicious food. We haven't experienced such a great overall package for a long time. Thank you..... Very highly recommended

You can eat very well here 🫶🏼. At the end of our little trip up here we went to this cute restaurant and it was really worth it. Price performance is okay and the restaurant itself is really “Instagramable” and “Pinterest-worthy” So yes, looks nice 😂. Steak, pizza, antipasti and the side dishes were all really delicious. Of course the service was also very friendly. When something came up and I wanted to postpone the reservation for an hour, this wasn't a problem at all. 🤍

Very tasty food, cozy atmosphere and friendly, professional service. The porcini mushroom ravioli appear to be completely homemade, are wonderfully al dente and have a very intensely spicy tomato paste. Our food came quickly and at a reasonable price considering the quality. Great recommendation!

It's really beautiful here! The two of us were there on a Wednesday evening and it was surprisingly busy. We were lucky and got a table even without a reservation. Next time I would make a reservation. There is a nice varied menu. We had pizza and salad, delicious! The cocktails are great! Highly recommended!

Seven of us arrived spontaneously at 9 p.m. because we couldn't find any space in Dangast. Despite the late hour, we received a very warm welcome. The food was very good, the service was excellent and the prices were very fair. We'll definitely be back next year!

We took a short break at Emma's on our bike tour. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambience and friendly service. The fresh cheesecake (the best I have ever eaten), the coffee and the beer gave us new strength to continue our journey. Thank you for the lovely stay.

If you order schnitzel fries for children (9y/12y), you assume that you will also get children's portions instead of €9.50/€19.50 for 2 children, which is €20. The taste of the gluten-free pizza is great, but the surcharge of €3 is not an issue, but you should at least inform the guest about it!! One child wanted sauce with the schnitzel and another child didn't want it at first, but then it was too dry for him because there was no ketchup. He asked if we could get some sauce, then saw €2.20 for sauce on the bill. Boom. As I said, great atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff, you feel welcome, but please inform guests that you also have a choice if there is an additional charge.

Very attractive facility. Lots of staff, some of them tried hard, everyone was quite friendly. Food was pretty decent. However, no cheese was served with the pasta, which should be a given with certain dishes (specifically: spaghetti Bolognese). The Parmesan we ordered was delivered quickly, but unfortunately it was roughly grated. During our stay someone came up with the idea of ​​playing Italo pop to the guests. That was annoying, so I deducted 1 star for the ambience.

The ambience and furnishings are very modern and tasteful. Unfortunately you won't get enough of it! Very poor performance of the kitchen and service! Some examples: 1. The starter salads were served to us partly as a starter and partly with the main course. 2. If you specify medium as the cooking level for a beef fillet, you should not get shoe soles. 3. The salmon and pasta dishes were totally oversalted and were re-prepared after the complaint. The result was the elimination of all spices. 4. The desserts served differed from what we ordered.

Actually, we have always been very satisfied so far. However, yesterday we were so disappointed that we won't go again. The steak, which was ordered medium, came bloody. It was thrown into the pan again, but so were the fried potatoes, so some were almost black when served the second time. When we mentioned this at the end, the only comment was: Next time it will be better. We would have been happy about an accommodation.

When the menu offers grilled goat's cheese with mixed salad plus pineapple with raspberry dressing - and three slices of unprocessed goat's cream cheese with droplets of crema are served on a colorful salad with vinegary dressing plus canned pineapple... and the chef explains verbosely that you can't make goat's cheese grill - then something is fundamentally wrong.

Everything is perfect here – food, ambience, service. We have been to Emma's several times now. The food was always extremely tasty, and as a greeting from the kitchen there was always bread with homemade herb butter. I would particularly like to mention that for me this is by far the best tomato cream soup! The staff is totally friendly and attentive, but never intrusive. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The price-performance ratio is also excellent. We always like to come back and look forward to every visit.

There were three of us there. Great food, everything fresh, great fried potatoes and crunchy vegetables. Nice, friendly service who immediately noticed that the sauce was missing.

Wir waren immer gerne im Emma. Das Personal war wie immer super freundlich und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Aber das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht mehr. Es ist zwar alles teurer geworden… aber wenn ich im Restaurant Essen gehe ,und nicht mehr von einem Salat als Hauptspeise satt werde, dann brauche ich echt nicht mehr dort essen gehen. Für eine Flache Sprudelwasser wurde 6,20 € abgerechnet. Und für das Schoko Törtchen mit flüssigen Kern und eine Kugel Vanilleeis, zwei Physalis und einer Himbeere 12,50 € . Das ist effektiv zu teuer geworden . Schade, dann suche ich mir ein Restaurant, wo das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in meinen Augen stimmt. Echt schade tolle Location.
