Tasty, inexpensive (local), good quality. We were in Dangast at the turn of the year and also ate at the Vietnam House in between. The food was very good in all respects, the taste was also great, only the peanut sauce wasn't quite what I'm used to. But that can be a matter of taste. The price was ok by local standards, but the portions were very generous. As far as authenticity goes: it's delicious, but "European authentic". Service was also very good 👍

We had a nice visit to the Taverna in Varel. The only thing to consider was the waiting time until we received the food. Over an hour… It was supposed to be a spicy pizza... it lacked the spiciness. Otherwise great restaurant!

The service is very good. The atmosphere is actually very chic and cozy but unfortunately we sat in a kind of walk-through room, where it was very restless with the waitresses and guests, a constant flow. The food was ok, but the pork medallions from the councilor's pot were unfortunately fried for far too long and were therefore tough.

The food at Helga's is always delicious. Be it baguettes or salads, everything is fresh and there is little waiting time. Helga and the other staff are all very nice and friendly. Thanks to Helga and everyone else.

I recently dined at the Opatja restaurant in Varel and was very satisfied. The classic Croatian food is excellent, the portions are generous - even the senior-friendly versions. Particularly noteworthy is the fast, friendly and attentive service, which makes the visit very pleasant. Due to high demand, reservations are recommended during peak times. 5 stars for the great performance of the team in Opatja – absolutely recommended!

I had a very pleasant visit to the Neumärker restaurant in the Friesenhof complex. Upon arrival I was greeted warmly and quickly assigned to a table. As usual, taking the order was extremely courteous, and right at the start I was greeted with a greeting from the kitchen. The drinks arrived quickly and there was a pleasant silence in the restaurant throughout the evening - no disturbing noise levels that would have impaired the enjoyment. The dishes were not only prepared quickly, but also excellently prepared and skilfully served. There is a wide selection, so there really is something for every taste. What is particularly noteworthy is that senior-friendly portion sizes are also available upon request. The dessert rounded off the evening perfectly and is highly recommended. If you are looking for good food at reasonable prices in a quiet and well-kept atmosphere, this is the place for you. The perfect service made the visit a completely successful experience - an absolute recommendation!

Enjoy your meal. Organization was a bit chaotic, a few things went wrong with my reservation and that was very annoying for me. One of the four menus at our table still had the old prices, which caused a lot of discussion.

We have been there twice now, both times we reserved a table in advance. On the first visit we were kept at the counter for 20 minutes and were not even offered anything to drink, but as the food was good we tried a second visit. Unfortunately no table was ready and this time we stood in the entrance area for 5 minutes, totally in the way of course, after which we were taken to a table, but unfortunately the service staff were not friendly and you can tell straight away who is a regular and who is not. Two stars just because the food is good, the rest of it still needs to be improved.
