But we were really very positively surprised that the website was completely consistent with the one on site. Very good food, good portions and very nice staff. Very nice restaurant with top service! Food absolutely inexpensive and a pleasure! We, for once as tourists traveling in the Varel region, found what we were looking for on Google while searching for an Italian restaurant. Top review, “come on, let’s try this”! We hadn't reserved a table (because we left spontaneously), we were greeted nicely by the staff and then, despite the fact that we didn't reserve and the restaurant was fully reserved, we got a table for 5! We (2 adults, 3 children) ordered and the food and drink were amazing! The service staff offered our children coloring books to bridge the waiting time. The food was served quickly and we were treated like a guest (literally!)! Our son (5), cheeky as he is, asked the waiter: “Where does the food come from?” The waiter: “Come on, I’ll show you!” Do you want to go into the kitchen with me?”. He actually took all 3 kids on a tour of the kitchen!!! So hearty, so great!!! Simply worth its weight in gold! Thank you for that For the price (carpaccio, carprese as a starter for us adults; children's pizza margarita, pizza Hawaii, spaghetti (children), 2 pasta dishes for us; 2 bottles of water (1 liter), 1 bottle of water (0.3), 3 apple spritzers; tiramisu and panna cotta): 118 euros!!! As a thank you, we rounded up to 140 euros. Such a great thing! Always happy if we go on holiday here again! Thanks so much

This is how you want to go out to eat! All dishes were delicious, service was attentive and quick. Food comes together and doesn't just look good. Price-wise, completely okay! Gladly again.

Hello first, We and our regulars dined at the Taverna last week. The reception was very nice and nice. We ordered our food but the waitress took forever to bring out the drinks - I know that the drinks are brought out relatively early. Unfortunately that wasn't the case!! Nevertheless, the food was delicious, except for my friend's slightly salty noodles. We sat in a room relatively away from the taverna. The condition came regularly, yet she was not very attentive. A young girl (approx. 14 - 15) with glasses served us (without any prejudices). She hardly gave the impression that she was enjoying the work. Some of the food wasn’t completely cleared away… All in all a very nice evening, I can recommend the bruschetta!

We ate there with 2 adults and three kids. We found space in the outdoor area, well located in a very relaxed and beautiful old town pedestrian zone. The food was really excellent (pollock fillet with rosemary potatoes, pizza). The service left nothing to be desired. Friendly, fast and competent. In terms of price, I would say we are in the lower middle range (we have already paid significantly more for much less). If we spend our vacation here again, we will definitely come back. Unfortunately only 2 stars for the food. Pork loin baked with mozzarella, salad and potato wedges! The salad, potato wedges and sauces were really tasty. Unfortunately the meat is very tough. Even after the first complaint, the response was very friendly and the meat was remade. But unfortunately it was so tough that you couldn't eat it. This should give the chef something to think about. As an apology, there was free dessert. The meal was fully charged once. I hope things go better next time.

Good Italian, attractive lunch menu...

We had made a reservation but were unfortunately put off at reception because there were no tables available. We then waited outside for about 10 minutes. The food was delicious. The pizza was very large, we wished there had been a suitable plate/board for it. The pizza was sticking out over the edge so you could hardly cut it. The ambience, the shop is relatively small.. And extremely loud.. You couldn't normally have a conversation at the table, even though we were already in the corner. As a result, we didn't have the real coziness that you would otherwise get from eating out.

Very friendly attentive staff. I chose 'Scampi al Aglio' as my main course and was very satisfied with the taste, composition and presentation.

Very bad service. I waited 30 minutes. The blonde waitress paid me no attention. I wanted something to eat and something to drink. 4 guests who came after me and sat right next to me were served. I'm now going to Emma to eat.

I was there with my family for lunch. The drinks are branded, the service staff was friendly and attentive and the pizza was quite large, freshly made and tasty. For me personally, the option of vegan pizza melt (see photo) is also a big plus.

A pity!!! We heard so many good things beforehand and were unfortunately disappointed. We were there with several people and had to wait over an hour for our food. When it finally arrived, it tasted very good... regardless of whether it was pizza, pasta or bruschetta. But then it gets outrageous...be careful, paying in cash is more expensive than paying by card. Cash without receipt, card payment with receipt and €8 less. Now everyone can think what they want. People are always happy to give a tip, but it's cheeky to add the tip yourself. We don't anymore!!!!

We spontaneously went to the tavern based on a recommendation, but then realized that a previous reservation would have been better! We still got two seats at an extremely small table, next to a birthday party! The restaurant isn't exactly quiet, but the taste of the food was okay! The lasagna was very hot, tagliatelle with salmon was also hot! Service very friendly!

Super delicious food, quick and attentive service team, special requests are fulfilled. I can only recommend! Went there again yesterday and even though it was full, barely 10 minutes later we had a seat and could look forward to eating. That was excellent again, unfortunately we didn't take any pictures this time. I can only praise the team and the food anyway. The seating arrangement was divided differently, which I personally think is better.

The food was great. The lasagne and the filled pasta pockets with Gorgonzola and pear (44) are clear recommendations. The staff are very courteous and the service leaves nothing to be desired. Our dog was also allowed in. We will definitely be back and have therefore found a new starting point for ourselves.

A beautiful restaurant with stylish decor. The meal was delicious. I ate a rump steak from the grill, which was perfectly cooked. The charming conditions delivered perfect service and rightly earned your tip.
