A clear recommendation for the “Regional” in Friesoythe Our visit to the “Regional” restaurant was a complete success! Particularly noteworthy is the dog-friendly atmosphere - our four-legged friend was warmly welcomed, given water and felt just as comfortable as we did. We were impressed by the consistent focus on regional cuisine. The quality and freshness of the ingredients could be tasted in every course. The five-course menu that we both enjoyed was excellent: perfectly balanced, not overly seasoned, so that the individual ingredients came into their own wonderfully. The ambience in the dining room is reserved, but extremely tastefully and comfortably decorated. We particularly like how much emphasis is placed on recycled materials and sustainability - a modern concept that is convincing. The service was also a highlight: communicative, attentive and very friendly. My wife chose the wine accompaniment, which was perfectly matched to the food with carefully selected, regional German wines. We felt very comfortable from the first moment and can warmly recommend the “Regional”. A restaurant that combines regionality, sustainability and enjoyment at the highest level!

Larger coffee group. We wanted to have the leftover cakes and slices packed up and take them with us; it was too good to throw them away. Statement from the boss that he had never experienced that before, he wouldn't do that!! Food was ordered for 55 and unfortunately only 40 could come. The behavior was absolutely wrong!!! The offer is completely excessive for the price!

All in all really good food. The restaurant itself could use some renovation. But everything is really fine.

Basically a very good restaurant, great service We were there on Christmas Day for the Christmas buffet, where I have to say we didn't like the food selection at all. Unfortunately, we didn't know in advance what menu there was. We didn't think there was anything Christmassy about the buffet apart from the wild ragout. We also found that the food was set up in the farthest corner, which didn't seem very inviting.
