Baweri Bar Restaurant in Friesoythe

I ate there with my family for the first time today... let me just say, it was also the last time. On Google it says 4.7 stars and really great pictures, which I absolutely cannot understand. We were sat down and then had to wait 40 minutes for our drinks... I've never experienced anything like that before. Then we finally got the menu. The tuna pizza was terrible for the price. It arrived lukewarm to cold and drenched in oil. It was as if someone had poured an entire bottle on it. Inedible. After waiting for 1.5 hours, you at least expect tasty food. The rosemary potatoes (if you can call them that, since there was almost no seasoning) were also disappointing. The noodles were drenched in soy sauce, so they got worse with every bite. The meat was also drenched in oil, of course, and the portions were extremely small, and you couldn't get enough to eat on them. For €25 and a portion like that, you would have been better off eating at McDonald's. At least you would have been full there... The manager just stands behind the counter and doesn't feel the need to help. He looks very inept. The atmosphere was nice, but that's it. I'd gladly give the service and food 0 stars.

Highly recommended! The ambiance is stylish and inviting, the atmosphere very pleasant. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very professional. The food was simply outstanding – creative, freshly prepared, and presented with love. All in all, a perfect visit, and I will definitely be back!

The food and drinks are beautifully presented and taste delicious. One minor criticism is that the bruschetta menu doesn't mention that it includes Parmesan cheese. However, I would recommend the restaurant and will definitely return.

I visited the BAWERI Bar & Restaurant and was completely impressed! I ordered a medium steak with potatoes. The meat was wonderfully juicy and tender, melting in your mouth. The potatoes were delicious with a crispy crust. The cocktails were also refreshing and perfectly complemented the meal. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. A great place for a lovely evening – I'll definitely be back!

We had reserved a table for four on a Thursday. Service was friendly and attentive at first. After the appetizer, the main course came straight away, without a short break. Unfortunately, no one came to us after the main course, and our glasses remained empty for at least an hour. An hour before closing time, the first candles were extinguished and the lights brightened. Given the lack of service, it felt like an indirect eviction. The food was good. The location was really nice. The drinks were very expensive, and they only serve small drinks. A shame.

"I went to dinner with my colleague today and we both tried burgers with sweet potato fries - simply delicious! He had a chicken burger and I had a chili cheese burger, and both were really great. The aioli in particular was a highlight! The atmosphere in the restaurant is super cozy and inviting. I was particularly impressed by the fact that everything in the toilets had been thought of - even deodorant and hairspray for the ladies! A really nice detail. The only small point of criticism: For the drinks, a napkin was simply used as a coaster on the glasses, which was a bit inappropriate compared to everything else. But otherwise everything was really great! Of course, quality has its price, but the overall package is just right here. Absolutely recommended – I’ll definitely be back!”

I had a very nice evening here with my friends with good and tasty food. The cocktails not only taste fantastic, they are beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger.

I was really happy with my first visit, but unfortunately not this time. We wanted to leave some time after the starter before the dessert came - that wasn't a problem. But as soon as the dessert arrived, another waitress came and said we had to vacate the table soon because it had been reserved again. Less than five minutes later she brought the bill straight away. When we asked whether we were really going to be thrown out, all we got was a stroppy “yes”. I wasn't aware beforehand that you only have the table for 1.5 hours - there was no option to choose when making the reservation. For a location that calls itself a “bar”, I find that extremely short. Most people want to end the evening relaxing without having to get up straight after dinner. It's a shame, it doesn't leave a good impression.

I don't find it very convincing to cancel tables the evening before Valentine's Day for no reason...!

We were given a voucher and therefore went to this restaurant but we will not visit this restaurant again! My pasta was totally over salted and some of my friend's rosemary potatoes were inedible because they were burnt. The prices are really tough. Despite a voucher of 20 euros, we still had to pay over 30 euros for 2 meals and 2 cokes.

I was really overwhelmed that there was such a shop in our country. When I was there for the first 3 minutes, I first had to realize that I was in Friesoythe and not in Berlin. The food was great and went quickly even though the store was full. Staff also super nice and helpful. Good luck for the future & this definitely won't be my last time.

Waited over an hour for food, then got a half-raw minced skewer on the Baweri plate. After a complaint, a satisfactory solution was found... My companion's burger was very tasty...

We were there with a group on New Year's Eve and I got the wrong dish. After ordering, the waitress read the dish to me, but when the burger came it was the wrong one. She tried to argue with me that it was the right one, I just took it and thought about my part, after 10 minutes she came back and offered to bring me the right burger with a waiting time, but unfortunately you want to also eat there together. I still had to pay the full price later. It was also very unpleasant that evening, there were around 20 people standing in the entrance area waiting for their table and a lot of walking back and forth, cozy and friendliness is not a priority here. This is not how you get long-term guests.

Was in this restaurant a few weeks ago. So far the food was okay. After we ate our main course, we wanted to order a waffle with chocolate. After we saw the plate on our table, we thought for the first time that there was blonde hair in it. We told the manager this and he was just surprised said we didn't have any blonde service staff. After about 10 minutes came The boss came back and told us it wasn't hair but scorched plastic that was in our food! It was really bad, there was no apology or compensation afterwards, how can you treat your guests like that! Last but not least, after staying in this restaurant for a good hour, the boss told us that we had to leave in 15 minutes because the table was reserved! It's a real shame the Güven family only thinks about provit and not about the human aspects that are so important in this job! I will definitely never visit this restaurant again, I'd rather go to the competition.

Absolutely thrilled! Baweri not only has a really nice interior, but also an incredibly great atmosphere!! The decoration is super modern and totally stylish. There is absolutely nothing comparable in the area. I especially like the burgers and the garlic dippers. Be sure to order a cocktail, they are decorated really nicely. If you value ambience and good food, this is definitely the right place for you!

We were there on a Sunday evening when it was very busy. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our main course and this also partially disappointed us. The waiters were very unmotivated and sometimes unfriendly. However, the atmosphere is nice and especially the fries/dippers were delicious.

Simply insane. The food is absolutely amazing. What the kitchen conjures up really tastes fantastic. We had a bowl and pasta with chicken and truffle cream sauce. The cocktails and mocktails are beautifully and lovingly prepared. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The ambience is super beautiful and classy. The prices are completely normal and not at all overpriced, but completely reasonable. I eat out often and therefore know many restaurants. For me, BAWERI is the best restaurant in Friesoythe and the surrounding area. I would even say that in terms of the overall package (taste, quality, price, ambience, service), for me it is one of the best restaurants ever. If I could I would give more stars. Absolutely clear recommendation!

A very nice, stylishly furnished restaurant on the edge of Friesoythe. The service is great, just as you would expect in a restaurant. The menu is manageable, not too much but there is something for everyone. The taste is a dream, I haven't eaten it so deliciously in a long time. Hardly any waiting time between ordering and eating. Addendum: We were there for the third time and it was once again incredibly good. You have to order the brownie as dessert! I've never eaten anything so delicious!

Interior, Aperol and parking deserve three stars. The shrimp were very salty. Price and quality do not match. The waitress didn't bring a bottle of water either. We paid for alcoholic drink that we didn't drink. After I told them about it, we got our money back. Unfortunately no apology from the service staff.

Friendly welcome, cool style in the location. My wife's food was delicious, but my Pizza Tonno was extremely oily. At a hefty price of €15.90, I expected more. The waitress simply replied “I’ll pass it on”. There should be further training. In terms of price, it is in the higher segment, e.g. E.g. €3.50 for 0.2l of cola.

Nice ambience and pleasant atmosphere. There were four of us and we were super satisfied, both with the food and the staff. Overall, highly recommended.

My family and I were very enthusiastic about the food, especially the “Dippers” (French fries). The food was a little more expensive, but we enjoyed the high quality, especially in the meat and the ingredients in our dishes. The service staff are very nice and courteous, the washrooms and the restaurant are very clean, which made us feel very comfortable and we would be happy to come back.
