We went to Belvedere for dinner with my in-laws today. The service was excellent - we were served very attentively and everything was taken care of for us. The food was innovative and a real culinary delight. At this restaurant you get reasonable service, fantastic food and good drinks for the high price.

Today we ate in the operator's food truck. At first we thought it was a “normal” snack with bockwurst and potato salad. Total understatement!! Lovingly prepared food, really top!! We talked about this amazing snack the whole drive home.

Wir hatten 4 verschiedene Hauptspeisen und 3 unterschiedliche Vorspeisen. Jedes Gericht war lecker. Besonders das Zandergericht war auf den Punkt . Die Bedienung war schnell, freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Very nice location! Promising and very inviting design of the restaurant! We wanted to have something to eat and drink here with friends. However, the “reception” was rather unwelcoming! We were quickly delegated out again with a note of a service fee of 10% of sales. Hmm... we would certainly have paid more than 10% service fee, i.e. tip... but a nice explanation and the associated good feeling would have been crucial. Now we're sitting next door in the brewery... and we'll definitely be happy to pay an additional service fee...

***Very luxurious hotel with weaknesses in service*** We stayed in the hotel at the beginning of November for a long weekend in Heringsdorf. The hotel is in a top location close to the town center in the first row. The hotel complex is quite large and, in terms of location, offers everything a luxury-loving heart desires. The rooms, the wellness area, the breakfast room, etc. are all of a top standard. However, the service seems to be a construction site in the hotel. It's not universal, but it's annoying in one place or another. Here are some examples: We spent the first evening in the hotel's really attractive bar. Unfortunately, there were very few staff on duty that Friday evening. There was a young man in charge of our corner who, although extremely friendly, was obviously overwhelmed by the many orders. It wasn't enough to raise your hand when the waiter walked past to signal that you wanted to order something; you had to apply a little more intensively for a drink. There is another way, as demonstrated by a colleague who was later employed and who obviously had the necessary all-round view. When we wanted to drink a cocktail in the bar the next day in the afternoon, the waitress told us that unfortunately that wasn't possible yet because the "real bartender" wouldn't come until later. Well, that was very honest information, but a bit strange for a five-star hotel. At breakfast on Saturday morning we apparently had bad luck with our breakfast room due to the hotel being full. Due to the high volume of people, the hotel had problems accommodating all the guests. So an additional room was set up where we could have breakfast. That would have been okay if the room had been decorated at least a little. Due to the very spartan furnishings, the breakfast unfortunately had a FDGB atmosphere. This obviously bothered other guests who we observed as they entered the converted dining room. In addition to the criticism, I would like to add that the events described are of course not a waste of time and I would like to see this as an indication. In a five-star hotel like this you expect more than in other hotels, especially in terms of service and ambience - after all, you pay a decent price for that. My conclusion is that the hotel can definitely be recommended - but the service problem urgently needs to be addressed.

A luxurious place, celebrated her birthday. The service is excellent, the housekeepers are very nice and always helpful, the food is delicious and I liked the SPA the most, it is worth visiting and relaxing, a wide range of saunas

Update: 4/18/24 There are decent fries again. And the best thing: they are now prepared with hot air. So there are 5 stars for the food again. We have been in Heringsdorf with Heidi on the beach for many years. Last year there were great fries in different versions. This year they are small, thin fries that are more reminiscent of pretzel sticks with a not so nice aftertaste. We then waited 20 minutes for this, even though there were only 4-5 guests there. If not the level, at least the prices have risen. Too bad
