We went here for lunch on a Monday in late August thanks to the good reviews on Google. We weren't disappointed. A small, cozy and quaint restaurant with outdoor seating near the beach. The view... well... was a busy shopping street, you sit a little elevated on the sidewalk. The service was friendly and quick, but there were very few guests. A tip if you want to eat outside, register with the service, otherwise you will quickly be overlooked (we were able to observe this). We had fish au four and salmon with homemade pesto on tagliatelle. Drinks and food came quickly and hot... and what can I say, really tasty! The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the pasta and fries were homemade and very tasty. At €54 for the two main courses it was already on the high side, but the price-performance ratio was right for us. Another sentence about the sanitary facilities: the way there leads over a breakneck staircase, everything in the style of the restaurant, you open the door and find yourself in an orange-tiled dungeon, BUT it was hygienically clean and that's what matters.

We ordered a salad with feta cheese and olives as well as a zander and mullet fillet on potato pancakes. My wife had to order 3 baguette slices with pesto (€5.30) for the salad (€17.90), as no baguette is served with the salad. The baguette slices were cut as thin as a slice of toast. My pieces of fish were fried to death and the potato pancakes underneath the "fish" were soft, mushy and thin. Unfortunately, it was not possible to define the quantity. Everything was garnished with a few sprigs of dill carelessly thrown on top. The sauce in the container that came with it was indefinable and bland in terms of taste. All in all, a disgrace to the palate and wallet. Avoid this location!!

A convincing restaurant in all respects. The service was exemplary. Despite the crowds, there was always a smile on everyone's face, photos were taken for guests every now and then, and empty glasses never went unnoticed. The food was high quality and tasted convincing. As a starter we had the baguette with homemade pesto. Really outstanding. Main course: - Zander fillet with dill sauce, potatoes and salad - Homemade potato pancakes on flounder fillet with salad. Great in terms of taste and craftsmanship. The atmosphere is rustic and inviting. If you choose the right place, you can watch the chef's fingers. It was absolutely worth a visit. If we are on Usedom again, we will definitely come back.

The food was very tasty and well presented. I can highly recommend the Pomeranian cream of fish soup. Very hospitable and good service. Unfortunately a little overpriced but recommended.

We ate here because we were looking for a fish restaurant with good reviews. We had reserved the table 2 days in advance. The atmosphere in the restaurant is quaint and rustic. The service staff is not unfriendly but not personally nice either. The same sayings are always thrown out at a quick pace. A robot can do that just as well. In my opinion, price/performance is not possible at all. The quality of the food is never commensurate with the price. I like paying high prices for my food. But then it has to be worth it. My fish plate with fried fish fillets was subpar. Between various fish fillets, fried dry salmon and some greens without dressing. Over the next few days we found other fish restaurants that served really good food. Thank you, I won't be coming back to “Fischkopp”. But there are also many satisfied customers.

By chance we passed the “Fischkopp” on our last evening on Usedom and were absolutely thrilled. There is a wide variety of fish dishes to choose from and one sounded tastier than the next. The food was phenomenal and the prices were absolutely justified. The staff was quick, very friendly and accommodating. We can only warmly recommend it and would come back at any time :)

Only came here from the Nor. Excellent fish dishes from starters to main courses. The blonde waitress is a bit fake. Otherwise everything was great.

Fish dishes were delicious (herb-crusted zander and beluga lentils), portion sizes were appropriate, and service was friendly and attentive. But... €9.80 for a large rhubarb spritzer (0.5l) is too much. It's a shame, as what had been a thoroughly successful visit ended with a negative impression when paying. 🫤 We'll be back for the food, but in terms of drinks we'll stick with mineral water.

I had the fish o vour and can only recommend it. My heart soared with this pleasure. The outside seating gets a point deducted because of the lack of decoration. The service is top notch.

Visited on July 16, 2024. A last-minute table right by the prep/cooking area, a very congenial, personable waitress that basically picked out the wine and main dish for me and didn’t steer me wrong. Everything was tasty, and just what I was hoping for. Served quickly… all the better since I watched the team clean and close the prep area as I was enjoying my meal. Talk about getting in under the wire… Yes, a bit rustic, which I typically enjoy. Miles ahead of the more sterile higher-end places on the water.

Great restaurant! A bit inconspicuous at first glance, but according to the Google rating, it's top. So let's get into the action and test it, we thought. We got a table without a reservation and the place was full. It's a nice, small and quaint restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The highlight was the open kitchen for the kids. The starter soup and the main course were absolutely great. The children's meals were also very tasty. The pasta as a straw substitute was also great. Overall, a great restaurant and 100% deserves the stars.

Went to Fischkopp for dinner last week. Very rustic furnishings, really cozy and the fish was really good. The service was also good. I can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

First of all: The food was good and the lady in service was quick and kept an eye on everything. But what made the whole thing unpleasant was the view into the open kitchen. Both men who worked there were not wearing gloves, one was working in a jogging suit, not to mention headgear. The salad and other dishes were prepared with bare hands, which was ok with disposable gloves. would have been. But in between pulling up your pants, touching your hair and then picking up food again. Hygiene instructions are probably more than overdue here.

We had reserved, but were warned to be on time, otherwise the seats would be allocated... after 5 minutes. To eat: The absolute highlight is the gravlax on potato pancakes. Really super tasty! The spiced meat was cold and actually just a mush. We had the cod fillet a la Piccata Milanese. The fish was okay, the tagliatelle too soft. The prices are clearly too high for the quality. The service was very friendly and attentive.

I ordered a medium rump steak for myself - unfortunately it came medium (very) well. Went back to the kitchen and then came back to the table (same bit) completely dead. The fish dish was good and tasty 👍 However, the evening overall was a complete disappointment. The kitchen crew “blasphemed” about the strange guest. 👎

What can you say...there's just nothing wrong with it. It starts with the ambience (quaint and original), goes on to the food (it's not just fish, everyone can find something here) and special praise has to be given to the service. It's rare to see such staff. You can't help anyone who doesn't come back here anymore.

If you are looking for a fish restaurant with excellent food in Bansin, you have come to the right place. Delicious fish bouillon, great fish platter. The service was impeccable. We look forward to the next visit.

Very nice and quick staff and very good food. Reservation is necessary. We had fish soup and spiced meat. The main course is fried herring and matjes. There could be a little more meat in the seasoned meat. Otherwise everything was great.

It was simply wonderful. The food was super delicious, our starter with the 5 different types of fish was sooo delicious and extremely well refined with acid and herbs. Nice little rustic restaurant with delicious fish dishes. We were here two days in a row because we liked it so much, making a reservation at short notice wasn't a problem. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Individual requests were easily addressed. There was also an appealing menu for the younger guests. Children's meals were very well received.

Since my parents ate here a lot while on vacation, I had to follow their recommendation. You were right, me and my fiancé really enjoyed it!!

We were lucky to get a free table in the evening. It is advisable to reserve a table well in advance. The food not only looks great, but also tastes great. Everything is fresh and, above all, quickly prepared to perfection.

Visiting with three dogs is no problem, although you can get 5* for that. ☺️ Super delicious food, great service, great price/performance. Conclusion: gladly again at any time

But for two people you can easily spend over 100 euros. But for people who are looking for something of high quality, it's exactly the right thing.

Five out of five stars. Full points. Without any compromises. A menu full of creative interpretations of fish that you won't find anywhere else and that are all delicious. A very friendly team and a rustic atmosphere. A real highlight is the opportunity to watch the chefs as they conjure up the dishes on the plate with relaxed nonchalance. You should definitely make a reservation and if you have the opportunity to get one of the tables with a view of the kitchen, you should definitely take advantage of it!

Reservations at short notice were no problem (even with children), extra requests were implemented well, even if the children's portion was a bit small. Generally the prices are slightly higher. But the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. The service itself was great - but it would be nice if the employees didn't complain to each other in front of the guests. :)

We were there spontaneously early on Saturday evening and got a table straight away. Very nice waitresses and a great atmosphere. What's great is that you can watch the cooking. Wir sind heute durch Zufall am Fischkopp vorbei gewatschelt und hatten das Glück den perfekten Platz bei den Köchen zu ergattern. Der Fisch schmeckt und der Service ist großartig.

Sind aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen hier eingekehrt. Wir können nur Positives berichten: sehr gutes Essen, sehr freundlicher und flotter Service sowie uriges Ambiente. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr rustikal, direkter Blick in die Küche möglich. Große Fischauswahl, die sehr lecker zubereitet wurde. So gut wie keine vegetarische Alternativen, aber das, wofür sie stehen, machen sie sehr gut.

Wir waren vergangene Woche zum Abendessen zu Gast. Kleine urige Gaststätte mit tollem rustikalen Ambiente. Reservierung empfohlen. Wir hatten die Seefischbouillon, welche lecker war. Hätten uns jedoch gewünscht, wenn verschiedene Fischsorten als Einlage zur Verwendung gekommen wären. Als Hauptgang hatten wir den Zander & Barsch mit Black Tiger Garnelen. Beilage war der Reibekuchen. Generell sehr wohlschmeckend und toller Fisch. Wir hätten uns den Fisch etwas glasiger gewünscht und der Reibekuchen hätte krosser sein können. Vielleicht stand der Teller zu lange am Pass. Das ist natürlich unser persönliches empfinden. Die Bedienung durch die zwei Damen war absolut professionell, freundlich und hat Spaß gemacht. - Wir hätten uns etwas mehr, wie schon erwähnt, vom Essen erwartet, daher nur 4 Sterne. Wir werden jedoch sehr gerne wiederkommen und können das Restaurant empfehlen. Vielleicht gibts beim nächsten mal den 5 Sterne. ;-)

Gemütliches Restaurant mit leckerem Essen und flotter Bedienung. Wir hatten Glück, noch für den zweiten Tag unseres Aufenthalts einen Platz zu viert zu bekommen und genossen den Abend dort.

Bestes Fischrestaurant in den Kaiserbädern eventuell auch Insel. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Mein Tipp, wenn man auf der Insel (sehr gut) Fisch essen möchte.

Super gemütliche Fischerkneipe mit Flair . Extrem leckere Fischgerichte in urischer Atmosphäre. Wir sind jedes Mal dort zum Essen , aber eine Vorbestellung ist von Vorteil .

War heute mit meiner Frau zum Abendessen dort und habe dort ein „Wow“-Erlebnis bekommen. Das Ambiente, urig und rustikal, das Essen reichhaltig und absolut lecker, die Bewirtung freundlich und fröhlich, achtsam und schnell. Hey, was will man mehr? Gerne wären wir länger geblieben und überlegen, unseren letzten Abend dort wieder zu verbringen. Die Vorfreude ist groß! Behaltet es so bei.
