Restaurant "Fischkopp" in Heringsdorf

There were seven people, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We always eat there at least once when we're at the Baltic Sea. We had a wonderful evening with two very friendly waiters who, in addition to their work, had a very friendly chat with us. Thank you so much!

The food was delicious, and the best we've had in Bansin! The friendliness of the two employees was also great (even though the place was packed).

The food and drinks were very good and our dog was welcome. We would be happy to come back.

The restaurant was a highlight of our vacation. We went there three times and enjoyed it every time. If we're in the area, we'll definitely eat there again. The prices are reasonable.

Two of us went there on a Sunday with our child and made a reservation in advance. There's a special children's menu with extremely reasonable prices. The fish dishes are extensive. We had the house special, floder in potato pancakes and zander with a herb crust. Both were super fresh and delicious. A rustic, family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We spent a week on Usedom at the beginning of September, and this was without a doubt the best restaurant in Bansin. We were there three evenings. The food is simply delicious, and the value for money is excellent compared to other restaurants on the island. The quality of the food is top-notch. We tried six different dishes, including the fantastic fish platter. The lobster sauce and potato pancakes are particularly noteworthy. The service was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was fantastic.

Without knowing the exact schedule, we booked a table two days in advance. We were immediately told that we could have a table for 5 p.m., but that the table was already reserved again at 6:30 p.m. For us, as fast eaters, this shouldn't be a problem. Several other guests also arrived at 5 p.m. Then our orders were taken, and the kitchen, which is open to view, got started. Interesting concept. Unfortunately, we were the last to get our food – at 6 p.m. So, we had to devour the food within the remaining 30 minutes and, at the waitress's request, pay immediately and leave. No nightcap, no dessert. Pure stress. The food was okay, but in my opinion, not worth the price. Of course, that's a matter of opinion, but the average price of €33 for food + drinks per person is well above the usual prices in Bansin. If you're lucky with the kitchen lottery, you can have a relaxed meal there, but if you want to eat and chat in a relaxed manner, you should look for one of the other restaurants nearby.

An absolute must. We always stop there when we're on the island. A truly fantastic fish restaurant. Be sure to make a reservation.

Yes, we ate fish baked into a potato pancake. The other dishes also looked delicious. We were able to watch the preparation through a glass pane.

It was actually a chance discovery: We were just looking for a shady spot for a break. But then we liked the menu and the ambiance so much that we spontaneously reserved a table for two days later. And it was worth it. The restaurant immediately ranked first among all the restaurants we've visited so far. Highly recommended.

Looking for a super delicious fish dish? Then you can't go past Fisch-Kopp. This was a very good fish dish with potato pancakes. I haven't had such a tasty meal in a long time. Keep it up!

Unfortunately, I can't share all the great reviews! We also had a table by the open kitchen! But you'll probably want to leave without eating anything afterward! I had cod on spinach leaves! It was a thawed mess and had been heated in the microwave! The fish was okay! The price/performance ratio wasn't right! We were very disappointed and definitely won't be back!

Very tasty dishes in a rustic atmosphere - insider tip!

It's difficult to get a reservation. So we were happy that we still got a table for two, as a couple had canceled. When we got there, we were seated at table 1. Right next to the chef. Only a Plexiglas panel separated us. The seat was sticky with grease, and so was the table. I complained, and then we were moved to a table a little further away. It was okay. Then we ordered our food, and it was truly a feast for the palate. That saved the evening. The food gets 5 points from us. Unfortunately, the service and ambience only get 2 points. What a shame.

Very tasty and freshly prepared (they also serve small portions). The service is also excellent. We were served by a nice young man wearing a hat ;) The fish head is HIGHLY recommended, but be sure to make a reservation in advance.

We hadn't actually reserved a table, and the restaurant was already packed and fully booked – but the four of us still managed to get a seat. The staff was super friendly and attentive to our needs despite the restaurant being packed. The food was outstanding, truly delicious, and prepared with love. We also particularly liked the fact that you can look into the kitchen from the dining area – it creates a wonderful atmosphere, and you can see how freshly cooked the food is. Conclusion: Absolutely fantastic, we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

Today, on the last evening of our vacation, we wanted to go out for some really delicious fish and, thanks to the Google reviews, we ended up at "Fischkopp." It was almost impossible to get a table, so it's always best to make a reservation! We felt very comfortable in the restaurant, which matched the atmosphere and the menu. Children's plates range from €3-5, which is a no-brainer. The fish selection was extensive, the service friendly, and the food came quickly. All in all, a successful evening. The only drawback: the portion size could have been larger after a day at the beach and being really hungry ;-)

Even without a reservation, which is perhaps advisable, we managed to get a table. The service team was very friendly and accommodating. After placing our order, we had a normal wait time. We felt very comfortable here; the waiter was very friendly and cheerful. The four of us had a salad with chicken and three fish dishes with several different types of fish. The food was great, just the right amount, not greasy, but really well prepared and very tasty. If I'm in the area again, I'll go there again.

Our visit in April 2025 – a culinary highlight in the seaside resort of Bansin… During our vacation on Usedom in April 2025, we discovered this wonderful restaurant – and were so impressed that we went there two evenings in a row. On the first evening, we were seated immediately without a reservation, despite the busy and almost fully booked tables. We then made a reservation for the second evening as a precaution – and it was a good decision! On both evenings, we were greeted by extremely friendly and attentive service. The food was simply fantastic – fresh, creative, and prepared with love. The ambiance is cozy and lovingly designed, making you feel at home from the very first moment. What's particularly nice: some tables offer a direct view into the kitchen. It's a real joy to watch the chefs prepare the food – it increases the anticipation of the meal even more! My personal highlight was the zander and perch fillets fried with black tiger prawns on crispy potato pancakes and lobster sauce. And the potato pancakes with salmon, and the lobster sauce especially for me – simply heavenly! The "Fischergeist" is also highly recommended – a delicious schnapps with character. The "Fünf-Happen-Teller" (five bite platter) offers a great selection of fish and is perfect as an appetizer for two. And the 11° fish wine was the ideal accompaniment to our dishes. If you're in Bansin, you shouldn't miss this restaurant. An absolute recommendation – you'll be thoroughly pampered with culinary delights!

Very warm and friendly service, coupled with good food in a relaxed atmosphere. You couldn't ask for more. We went for lunch and easily got a seat even without a reservation. Reservations are essential for dinner, otherwise you can only hope that someone cancels their reservation at short notice or doesn't show up – reserved tables are given away after five minutes.

Like every time we are on Usedom, we ate again yesterday at the Fischkopp restaurant in Bansin. Reservations are mandatory and will help you have a relaxing evening. As always, it was super tasty and there was a great atmosphere in the restaurant. The service from the reception to the nightcap was great, friendly and with a lot of humor. Deniz especially accompanied us perfectly and attentively throughout the evening. Thank you very much at this point! We had a great time at Fischkopp again and would love to come back.

Absolutely child-unfriendly and disrespectful - a place you should avoid with your family! Our visit to this restaurant was a bitter disappointment! Not because of the food, but because of the unbelievable behavior of a barmaid that literally left us speechless!!! From the moment we entered the bar with our 3-year-old daughter, the barmaid groaned ostentatiously and audibly at the child's presence. Without any restraint, she repeatedly called our daughter a “cry child,” even though she didn’t misbehave in any way – she was just a happy toddler who spoke a little louder and laughed. When we politely asked if there was a problem, the barmaid responded with incredible arrogance, ignorance and an ice-cold, anti-child attitude. No hint of understanding, no professional behavior - instead a derogatory tone that clearly signaled to us: Children are not welcome here!!! For a restaurant operating in a public environment, this behavior is unacceptable in my opinion! Families with children should definitely not come here!!!! Unless you want to be treated with hostility and get the impression that a small child is seen as a nuisance and is never welcome! Conclusion: If you value hospitality, respect and a family-friendly environment, you should avoid this restaurant. Treating guests like this, regardless of age, is simply shameful!

Been there many times. Always great. Service, food perfect. A bit disappointed for the first time today. Had the fish au four. Is shown with crab meat. I guess I was unlucky. There was nothing there apart from pieces of salmon in the sauce under the cheese on the pike perch. I mentioned it immediately. The waitress also asked in the kitchen. It would be fine that way. A bit of a shame.
