Restaurant Theo's in Heringsdorf

Wir haben wieder mal bei Theo's gegessen und es war phantastisch! Das Rinderfilet auf den Punkt gebraten mit super leckeren Beilagen. ...und dann noch ein traumhaftes Dessert. "Gruß aus der Küche, zwischendurch ein Zitronensorbet. Besser geht es nicht, für mich hier das beste Restaurant in Heringsdorf. Vielen Dank!

Es war einfach perfekt. Das Personal WOW - erlebt man leider nur selten. Die Auswahl am Buffett TOP - frisch und umfangreich. Über das Ambiente kann man nur sagen: gemütlich und einladend. Das Einzigste was etwas "negativ" aufgefallen ist, ist der weite Weg zur Toilette und dass es nur eine gibt.

Seit vielen Jahren fahren wir bereits nach Usedom. Waren aber zum ersten und auch bestimmt nicht letzten Mal im Theo’s. Eine Tischreservierung ist vorher ganz leicht online erfolgt. Sehr schönes Ambiente. Super Küche. Wir hatten eine Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeise. Alles war super schön angerichtet und sehr lecker. Unsere Servicekraft war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, hat uns trotz Hitze tadellos umsorgt. Preislich völlig angemessen.

Wir hatten das Fleischgericht „Bäckchen“ und das vegane Gericht „Falafel-Bowl“. Während das erste wirklich hervorragend schmeckte und auf den Punkt zubereitet war, schmeckte der Couscous in der Bowl stark nach Essig und trübte den auch dort sonst hervorragenden Gesamteindruck. Der Weisswein Müller-Thurgau von Saale-Unstrut war sehr gut temperiert. Warum man allerdings auf Usedom unbedingt Veltins-Bier anbieten muss, und dann noch im Zusammenhang mit eher hochwertigen Küche, erschließt sich dagegen überhaupt nicht.

Absolut weiterzuempfehlen! Ein modern, aber gemütlich eingerichtetes Restaurant mit gehobener Speisekarte. Die Preise sind in Verbindung mit dem Service und vor allem dem Essen absolut angemessen. Der Heilbutt war leicht knusprig und dennoch ist er auf der Zunge zergangen- die gesamte Kombination des Essens war perfekt! Habe es nach meinem Besuch sofort weiterempfohlen und werde selbst auch wiederkommen 😌

Wir waren am Osterwochenende auf der Insel und hatten leider nirgends einen Tisch reserviert, da erinnerten wir uns daran, dass wir ja mal vor 2 Jahren so wunderbar im Hotel Upstalsboom zu Abend gegessen haben. Also probierten wir (zu dritt) unser Glück und das hatten wir. Wir haben einen super ruhig gelegen, hübsch/professionell eingedeckten Tisch bekommen. Das Restaurant war natürlich gut gefüllt und draußen war noch kein Terrassenwetter. Wir sind begeistert gewesen vom Essen. Wie beim 1x, wurden wir auch beim 2. Besuch nicht enttäuscht. Super kreative Gerichte, auch für Vegetarier ist einiges, neues dabei. Dann haben wir neben Brot und Aufstrich noch einen Gruß aus der Küche erhalten-wo gibt es sowas heutzutage noch? Ich nehme an das die dort schon seit Jahren den gleichen tollen Chefkoch haben, mit super Team! Hut ab, die beherrschen ihre Arbeit! Einfach toll!!! Wir werden spätestens im Sommer wieder kommen und dann die wunderschöne Terrasse mit genießen. Macht weiter so!! 👏🏻

Ansprechendes Ambiente, hervorragendes Essen und erstklassiger Service - das sind für uns die Markenzeichen von Theo's in Heringsdorf. Wir waren das erste Mal hier essen und sind total begeistert. Das Wolfsbarsch-Gericht war ein Traum!

Das ist, wie man so schön sagt : noch ein Geheimtipp. Es gab keine Wartezeit, wir haben sofort einen Platz bekommen. Die Bedienung war nett und sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist absolut super. Geschmacklich und optisch sehr gut. Von der Küche gab es drei Aufmerksamkeiten zusätzlich zur Bestellung. Auch die Zeit zwischen den Essen (Vorspeise, Hauptgericht) sehr angenehm. Wir haben den Abend sehr genossen. Wenn man hier in der Nähe ist, unbedingt einmal ausprobieren. Aber im Sommer sollte man vorher reservieren.

Wir waren während eines Kurztrips letzte Woche im Theo's zum Abendessen als Nicht-Hausgäste. Kurzum es war lecker und das Ambiente war sehr entspannt und hat uns gut gefallen. Der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend, so soll es sein. Das Preisniveau ist eher gehoben aber dafür bekommt man auch einen sowohl kulinarischen als auch personellen Service auf hohem Niveau. Ergebnis, für unseren nächsten Aufenthalt in Heringsdorf in wenigen Wochen wieder vorbestellt, (was speziell am WE empfohlen ist. Kleiner Tipp am Rande, auf Grund der kleinen Zwischengrüße aus der Küche etwas mehr Zeit einplanen, damit man den Aufenthalt auch genießen kann.

Schönes Restaurant mit angenehmen Essen und guter Service in schöner Atmosphäre

Das Essen war lecker und der Service auch wie immer super.

Diesmal nur zum Kaffee, vor ein paar Jahren Geburtstag dort gefeiert. Schönes Wintergarten - Ambiente. Wie gehabt freundliches Personal, es gibt nix zu meckern.

Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Serviceteam. Sehr gute Küche . Das Essen ist sehr liebevoll angerichtet und schmeckt hervorragend. Alles absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für zwei Personen gebucht und freuten uns auf einen leckeren Abend mit Wild und Fisch. Leider wurde uns beim Betreten recht arrogant mitgeteilt, dass wir unseren Hund nicht mit ins Restaurant nehmen dürften. Angeblich, wegen Allergikern. Merkwürdig, dass es in dem Uppstalboom in Kühlungsborn erlaubt ist. Gibt es dort keine Allergiker? 🤦🏻‍♂️😤 Sehr enttäuschend, dass es in dem Reservierungsprozess nirgendwo angezeigt wird. Man kann zwischen einem halben Dutzend Punkten wählen, aber nicht, ob mit Haustier. Und dann um kurz nach acht auf Usedom im Herbst ein neues Restaurant zu finden, ist auch schwierig. Nicht nachzuvollziehen.

Notgedrungen weil unser Hotel kein ordentliches Dinner anbietet sind wir hier gelandet. ZUM GLÜCK! Das Restaurant ist spitzenmäßig. Gutes Essen, gute Weine und echter Service. Hier wird noch mit Herz und Seele gekocht, gekellnert und am Ende auch gern gemeinsam gelacht. Absolute Empfehlung. Liebe Grüße ans Team und danke für den tollen Abend.

Enttäuschende Halbpension, guter à la carte Bereich Wir waren insgesamt sehr enttäuscht von dem im Rahmen der Halbpension angebotenen 4-Gänge-Menü. Die Gerichte klangen auf der Karte zwar vielversprechend (hübsch benannte Produkte), geschmacklich bewegten sie sich aber leider auf einem Niveau, das an Tütensuppen oder Fertigprodukte erinnert – ohne wesentlichen Eigengeschmack oder frische Raffinesse. Leider war auch der Service nicht zufriedenstellend. Die Mitarbeiter wirkten durch die vielen Halbpensionsgäste völlig überfordert und kamen ihrer eigentlichen Aufgabe kaum nach. Besonders ärgerlich war die Situation bezüglich unserer 2-jährigen Tochter. Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten in der adäquaten Versorgung wurden Absprachen, die wir extra mit dem Restaurant getroffen hatten, bereits am zweiten Abend völlig missachtet, obwohl wir sieben Tage Gäste waren. Hinzuzufügen ist, dass das à la carte Essen (das wir separat bestellt hatten) anscheinend wirklich gut ist. Das ändert aber nichts daran, dass die Kommunikation und Koordination sowohl innerhalb des Restaurants als auch mit dem Hotel dringend verbesserungswürdig ist, vor allem, wenn es um individuelle Bedürfnisse geht. Das Halbpensionsangebot können wir so nicht empfehlen.

Wir standen erstmal 10 Minuten unbeachtet am Eingang, um am zuvor reservierten Tisch platziert zu werden. Dann folgte eine Wartezeit von 15 Minuten bis die Karte kam. Ein mit dem Restaurantmanager erbetenes Gespräch wurde nach Hinweis auf dessen Abwesenheit dann kurz danach von einer verständnisvollen und freundlichen Vertreterin wahrgenommen. Trostpflaster war die Nichtberechnung des Aperitifs. Kommt man dann zu den Getränken und dem Essen, sind diese recht ordentlich. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist noch ok. Fazit: Bessere Organisation des Restaurants führt sicher zu besserer Bewertung.

Alles zu empfehlen. Besonders der Service und der Gruß aus der Küche 😉

Meine Frau und ich gehen im Urlaub im Theo's sehr gerne und oft essen, wir haben meinen Geburtstag 🎂 und unsere (Meine Frau und ich)unsere Hochzeit bei einem sagenhaften 5 Gänge Menü sehr geschmacklich genießen konnten und dürften.Ein ganz grosses Lob an die gesamte Küchencrew. Das essen und die sehr ansprechende Gestaltung der Speisen war fabelhaft. Alle Mitarbeiter im Service und ihr Restaurantleiter sind eine große Bereicherung für dieses fabelhafte Restaurant, sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam, fachlich sehr gut 👍 beratend bei der Weinauswahl. Auch im Luv &Lee sagen wir das gleiche wie im Theo's. Wir freuen uns sehr auf 2026 das wir uns wieder von Ihnen kulinarisch verwöhnen lassen dürfen. Bleiben Sie alle gesund. Top Location, modern mit nordischem Charme. Der Service ist sehr gut, schnell, freundlich, aufmerksam und nicht aufdringlich. Das Grillbuffet war sehr sehr gut; die Speisen sehr gut angerichtet und präsentiert, alles frisch und ordentlich. Eine Nachbestückung wurde zeitnah vollzogen, kleine Sonderwünsche wurden auf Nachfrage prompt erfüllt! Freundliche Köche / Grillmeister am Buffet. Das Fleisch aus dem Smoker war auf den Punkt gegart. Anschließend noch den Abend Nähe Seebrücke im Sand genossen

DAS Highlight für Feinschmecker in Heringsdorf. Nach einer absoluten Enttäuschung erlebte ich im Theo, wie man es richtig macht. Perfekter Service, hochwertige Auswahl und geschmacklich Sterneküche. Der Service war außerordentlich zuvorkommend und wertschätzend. Die Gerichte wurden professionell angerichtet und präsentiert. Ein gelungener Abend. Kritikpunkte älterer Rezensionen sind nicht nachvollziehbar.

Heute Abend (12.7.2025) hier gewesen. Einfach perfekt. Alles war exzellent. Atmosphäre, Essen, Service.

Der große Vorteil ist, dass es im Theo's auch glutenfreies Essen gibt und die Küche und der Service darauf auch Rücksicht nimmt. Dieses mal haben wir am Ostermontag die Empfehlung des Tages sowie ein vegetarisches Gericht bestellt. Essen uns Service waren gut, nur die Spargelcremesuppe war ein Ausrutscher der Küche, da ist jede Tütensuppe leider besser! Leider hat sich die ehemals gute Qualität der Küche und des Services in diesem Jahr 2025 so verschlechtert, dass man guten Gewissens keine Empfehlung mehr geben kann. Mit dem Thema Zöliakie kennt sich der Service leider nicht mehr aus und das auf Nachfrage gebrachte glutenfreie Brot war verschimmelt!

For us, this is the best restaurant in Heringsdorf. The food, including the appetizers, was simply excellent and deserved a star. The service was also friendly, courteous, and helpful. Since we also had breakfast here, we have to recommend it as well. The buffet is extremely plentiful and constantly refilled. The service is also excellent. We'll be happy to come back.

Highly recommended restaurant. Reservations recommended. One of the few restaurants in Heringsdorf where you can eat very well. Very attentive service. I'd be happy to return.

I review a lot of restaurants, but I would like to highlight this one in particular. We arrived unannounced and received very friendly and professional service throughout. We chose the sea bass with asparagus and boiled potatoes. The hollandaise had lemon flavors and spiciness and seemed consistent with the dish. A foamy vanilla and asparagus cream was sent from the kitchen ahead of time, and there was nothing wrong with either quantity or spice. A friendly intermediate course and delicious bread with salty, homemade butter rounded off the menu. The recommended Müller-Thurgau suited this very well with its strength. We would like to express our thanks for this successful experience and can report that not only the quality but also the price-performance ratio completely convinced us. This restaurant clearly stood out from the crowd.

Not recommended for allergy sufferers (gluten/celiac disease). We visited this restaurant on our vacation. Unfortunately, there are a few reasons why we didn't feel safe and wouldn't recommend going here for a gluten-free diet: When we mentioned that we had to follow a gluten free diet and would like to see a menu with allergens labeled, we were told they didn't have that and would just tell the kitchen to leave out the gluten, which wasn't really a reassuring answer. I only chose a salad as I didn't feel comfortable choosing anything else. The allergens were labeled on the menu, but there was no explanation as to which letter represented which allergen. We have pointed out several times that cross-contamination should be avoided. It was quite difficult to be heard as the waiter was very busy and only briefly inquired about us. They brought gf bread (Schär) along with non-gf bread and also didn't offer a separate spread for the gf bread. The bread was already covered in mold. They apologized and brought sealed new Schär products instead. Overall the general experience at the restaurant was pretty poor as the tables were not served with much attention.

As always, the staff was courteous and the food was delicious. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. It was within the scope of the H.

Very good food in a very pleasant atmosphere

It's very rare that I give full marks for food, service and ambience. I really enjoy doing that here because we were very satisfied in every respect and would love to come back.

After having had an absurdly bad meal the day before in another well-known hotel restaurant in Heringsdorf, we really enjoyed dinner at Theo's. Excellent starters and soups. Good main courses with a special touch for vegetables. Friendly, competent service. The price-performance ratio is right.

Very nice decoration for a birthday. The taste is very good, the dishes are very creatively prepared, you can see the time-consuming manual work of the kitchen staff. Sufficient in quantity for several courses, you should also take your time and enjoy it. The price is on the higher side, but this is justified for a special occasion.

The food is sensational and so is the service. Definitely recommended. Unless hotel guests come to eat and like it, you can't add anything.

Super tasty food, beautifully presented. Very friendly staff. Dud tables are quite close together as it is a hotel restaurant. We chose the daily recommendation from Vir and Main course.

The food is very varied and tastes great. If you want to change something on the map, that's no problem. Instead of a starter there is a delicious salad, instead of a fish soup there is also a tomato soup... Plus a greeting from the kitchen, keep it up. The staff is super friendly, sometimes has to travel long distances and does it quickly. What's not so nice is that when the dining room is very full and the kitchen can barely keep up with all the delicious dishes, you end up sitting for a mere 2 hours for a 4-course meal, which we just don't like. The breaks between courses are simply too long and if you have something else planned in the evening (event, etc.) it's almost impossible to manage. Of course, you tend to have more time for things like this on vacation, but some guests don't like to give up the whole evening for it.

The location is pleasant and the service, if available, is very friendly. The food is now more home-style. Why the bad rating? We waited 35 minutes for the drinks. The service staff was simply overwhelmed due to the lack of staff. This is not a weakness in service but in management! Why were more and more tables being opened? Why does a female waiter have 12 tables and a male only have 8 tables and not help? Unfortunately, we didn't get what the price promised that evening. Quite apart from the fact that the principle of maximizing profits comes at the expense of the employees and guests.

Leave guests standing? Rarely experienced such poor service.

Unfortunately we can't judge the food. Service was very bad. Had a reservation. We arrived and waited. We would be greeted as we walked past with the words that someone would be coming soon and whether we had made a reservation. Afterwards a long wait so we left. Very annoying, especially given the price level

Very good food, great service, great portions. The dessert (photo) “sweet surprise” is a real treat: tomato with sea buckthorn ice cream filled with a super fresh hint of cinnamon, vanilla sauce and basil cream foam.

We stayed at the Hotel Upstalsboom and ate in the adjacent restaurant and were very positively surprised. The service was extremely good and friendly. The quality of the food was very good and we felt completely comfortable

We had a candlelight dinner for our wedding anniversary Ordered at Theo's. After a friendly welcome, we were escorted to our lovingly prepared table. The 5 course menu was excellent. The recommended red wine was served to match the menu. Overall, it was an excellent, unforgettable evening.

Went to Theo's last night, wonderful carpaccio as a starter, asparagus with a schnitzel as the main course. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Very friendly waiter, everything really went well. I can only warmly recommend Theo's.

The reservation could not be found by the staff. As guests, we had to provide proof of the reservation via email. At which the waiter looked astonished and, after much deliberation, assigned us a cat table. We politely declined and left the restaurant. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the restaurant.

2 1/2 hours before the planned visit, which was announced in advance via reservation, to celebrate a birthday with a relaxed à la carte dinner, a call comes: There is only a buffet offer this evening - and a VERY limited asparagus menu. There is one star for the call and one for the offer to rebook. All other - possible - stars are lost because of the impossible timing of the announcement. Truly Pomeranian...

great location, friendly staff, very good service

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had dinner there twice. Once the 4 course menu, once á la carte and three times the fantastic breakfast. The breakfast is very good and really has something for everyone. There will always be someone who finds a fly in the ointment, but that is complaining at a very high level. The same applies to dinner. Just very good. Another tip: if you order the 4-course menu in advance, you will also get a very good price/performance ratio. So all in all very good and we will come back!!

We spent the weekend at the Upstalsboom Hotel and had dinner at Theo, à la carte. It started with a little surprise from the kitchen, then some bread and cream cheese to pass the time. I found it very accommodating and nice. Everything was to our satisfaction. The wine list didn't meet our wishes, so we quickly got the menu from the bistro next door. Great service, excellent cuisine.

It was very beautiful and also very tasty! The service would have received five stars if, among other things, the unneeded wine glasses had been removed. Terrific! Always tastes good. Well arranged, perfectly prepared and sufficient. The service is very courteous and not intrusive. Good wine recommendation without having to open the menu. There could be a little more space between the tables but still a pleasant atmosphere. The chairs are very comfortable.
