Restaurant Ahlbecker Flair in Heringsdorf

Wir waren schon einmal hier und hatten eigentlich gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Wir hatten diesmal an einem Samstagabend einen Tisch reserviert. Bei unserer Ankunft hing bereits ein Schild an der Tür, dass die Kartenzahlung aus technischen Gründen nicht möglich sei. Da wir kein Bargeld dabei hatten und uns auch nicht der nächste Bankautomat mitgeteilt wurde, haben wir uns für ein anderes Restaurant entschieden. Da ich schon bei vielen Gastronomiebetrieben erlebt habe, dass eine nicht mögliche Kartenzahlung als Ausrede dafür gilt, dass man doch lieber Bargeld akzeptiert, um Kosten oder Steuern zu sparen, werde ich diese Lokalität nicht mehr besuchen. Schade …

Freundlich, gemütlich, authentisch und sehr schmackhaft. Das Heilbutt-Steak war wirklich Klasse. Das Ambiente ist auch schön.

After some very bad experiences with restaurants in Ahlbeck, we were very positively surprised here. We were welcomed very nicely and served. A small menu selection on the menu is enough to find a meal that suits you. The food was freshly prepared (you can even hear the schnitzel knocking :-)) and was also very tasty. You should definitely pay a visit to this young team. In contrast to other restaurants in Ahlbeck that are completely overpriced and offer no quality, you can eat here with peace of mind.

The food was very tasty and plentiful, so that even men were full. There were burgers, fish, meat and salad. Big plus point for pointing out that there are no vegan dishes. So it's not a fancy restaurant. We had hamburger schnitzel, captain's platter and salad with salmon. It was also good that we didn't have to wait forever for the food. Freshly tapped beer and sea buckthorn spritz rounded off the meal. The service was personable, attentive and friendly. The cleanliness was impeccable. Since the restaurant is rather small, you should reserve in advance. In summer you can also sit outside. Clear recommendation.

Small but nice. It was worth asking for a table as there don't seem to be many available. We were served quickly and the drinks and food were on the table quickly. The menu wasn't particularly large, but the dishes were very tasty. The kitchen is next to the counter and is open in the room, so it is to be expected that you will smell stronger after eating. Conclusion: book a table in advance and eat quickly and deliciously.

Vacation and eating out go together like bad luck and brimstone. Supporting local locations and especially family-run ones is a matter of the heart. The evening before at the Italian restaurant, you had a royal meal and was about to burst (due to the quantity), but you had to make some compromises in this restaurant for the same money. What was positive: the friendly service and the schnitzel. Rest of the meal: a handful of fries and "fresh" salad. A few tattered lettuce leaves, a blueberry, a piece of orange and beetroot threads. I was still able to discover one(!) piece of tomato. But seriously. For over €20 per dish you can expect something different. Just never again. Only to the Greek or Italian. At least you get something for your money.

We went there again for dinner, I have to say it was very tasty. The welcome was very warm. You are also welcome with a dog and that is not the case everywhere. We got a table straight away on two days, service is very important here. The team and the owner are very friendly and you'll enjoy going there to eat. We'll definitely come back for dinner more often. We had the fish platter twice on one day and the large salad on the other day and both were delicious Thank you for your hospitality and for always getting us a table at such short notice.

We were here for dinner: friendly service, delicious food that came to the table beautifully presented (and not run-of-the-mill, as we often found out in other restaurants). Ambiance is nice, limited number of seats, so you should reserve. Conclusion: Good price/performance ratio, we felt comfortable. The only drawback: We only "discovered" the restaurant on our last day of vacation, otherwise we would probably have liked to come here more often. A “thumbs up” from us.

Not such a good start We imagined our first holiday evening to be a little different. The service was really nice and attentive. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us. We both had the captain's plate. The three pieces of fish were of poor quality: thin ends, some bones and fried to death. The salmon also tasted oily. The fried potatoes were only small pieces and also quite dark. We were hungry after we arrived, so it was ok for us, but nothing more. Fortunately, we ate better in other restaurants throughout our vacation. Ahlbeck will definitely see us again, but unfortunately without any flair. No offense 😉

We spontaneously visited the “Ahlbecker Flair” on a Friday evening, around 5:30 p.m. Luckily there was still a free table for 2 people as all other tables were reserved. We were served very quickly and friendly. After a short wait, the dishes arrived. Once the schnitzel and once the captain's plate. Both were really beautifully prepared and tasted just as good as they looked. The interior wasn't quite to my taste. But everything is neat and clean. We would definitely come back again. But then with reservation 😊

Well-kept, modern restaurant with very tasty food. We had a captain's plate (€25.90) ​​and pork schnitzel with fried potatoes (€22.90). With drinks you can quickly reach €60 for two, which isn't exactly cheap. But: everything was very tasty and fresh. The dining room is located directly next to the open kitchen, which creates a corresponding background noise when meat is being pounded. You also have to expect that your clothes will smell strongly of food after your visit, which seems unavoidable given the spatial conditions. It is advisable to reserve. We caught the last unreserved table for two that evening. Burgers are also delicious here... but they are only available on Wednesdays.

Ended up here because of the good reviews. The service is friendly, even if the drinks take a while to be served after you order them. The perfectly chilled white wine and the bottle of water in the cooler scored points. The food is very tasty and beautifully presented to the eye. The only deduction is the poor extraction in the kitchen, which would be more like 4.5 stars.

We discovered this restaurant when we arrived, unfortunately it wasn't open yet. Curious, we wanted to try it out. After reading the reviews and being advised to make a reservation, we did so and reserved a table outside. When we arrived full of anticipation, we saw that all the tables were already occupied. When we arrived we were ignored. The staff walked past us without greeting us. As we were about to leave, we realized that we weren't part of the inventory after all. We said we had booked a table. They then looked at the reservation book and told us that we had free choice of seats inside. Not a word of apology...it just didn't happen. Our aperitifs were brought with the normal drinks. My demands were different then. The food was very good, but the fact that the kitchen is open and the guest is bothered by the noise from the kitchen really has nothing to do with the flair. A repeat visit would no longer be an option. The name should say it all

We went there to eat because the restaurant was highly rated on both Google and TripAdvisor?! Not only we, but also the people sitting next to us were visibly disappointed and I had to look at the restaurant name again on the way out to make sure I wasn't wrong! Abient = 0.00 At the counter (open kitchen) a radio station (!!!) is playing at full volume with traffic and news???!!! What a “flair”. Very small inside with small tables. The food was a complete disaster in my opinion! I had the Kaptiänplatte (3 types of fish - sea bass, cod and salmon) on fried potatoes with a mini salad side dish. I couldn't even identify the fish species. The salmon had not a hint of "rose color". Mini portions and the whole thing for a price of over 25 euros, so we paid 70 euros for 2 meals and 2 wines and a bottle of water and left hungry and annoyed. I'm really not a big eater, but offering something like that at these prices at Abiente isn't possible. However, the service was very nice and as an employee there is nothing they can do about it. I can't explain how all these positive reviews come about, but for us it was the worst restaurant in town on four evenings. Did we just have a “bad day” or what was going on???

Es war eine sehr gute Wahl. Das Fisch hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Restaurant ist etwas klein und hat nur wenige Plätze, vorallem im Außenbereich. Da ist eine Reservierung zu empfehlen.

Definitely worth a visit! We had the braided cod and the pork schnitzel - both world class. For dessert there was homemade ice cream, which was also completely convincing in terms of presentation and taste.

As a starter there was a mushroom cream soup, but it wasn't a soup but porridge. I didn't think it was great. Otherwise the food was good. The ambience is cozy, but the background noise is high. The radio is a bit loud and the open kitchen adds to it.

Und die Bratkartoffeln waren überhaupt nicht fett. Außerdem bekommt der Service ein großes Lob. So freundlich wurden wir sonst nirgends bedient unserer Meinung nach das beste Restaurant in Ahlbeck.

Most restaurants on the coast serve cod with fried potatoes and you get what you order. This restaurant proves that things are exceptionally good. Small and nice, cozy and clean, cheerful and polite service, or rather service as I imagined it. The meal was a pleasure for all the senses. Braided cod and sooooo delicious, rosemary triplets and a salad side dish that doesn't even deserve its name, it was more than just a side dish. Not because there was so much, but because it gives a nice contrast of flavors, like its own dish. The salad of my dear lady with salmon was stunningly good, varied in taste and bite, so many different components. All in all, we'd love to come back, see you soon! Addendum: We are repeat customers and were thrilled a second time. Being recognized by the service and boss made the visit even more personal. The cuisine is simply great, the schnitzel was very tasty and the vegetable side dish was an extravagant potpourri of carrots, chard, white cabbage, zucchini and others. Really creative and tasty. Thank you very much for the all-round pampering of your taste buds.

Totally sick food. Never eaten so well. Large portion, because it tasted so good, we would have liked to order a second portion. Beer also great and waiters also nice. It was worth the hour walk to the restaurant. We still had the taste in our mouths until we got to our accommodation.

The Ahlbecker Flair restaurant is located a few steps away from the promenade. These steps are worth it. The food and, above all, the friendly service are convincing. Here the guest is still king. When I wanted to reserve a table for the following day, they even checked a weather app to see if it was still possible to sit outside in the evening. Very attentive. A place where you feel welcome.

Were there yesterday. We ate outside because there was nothing left inside. Service was top. Nice friendly staff. Food was good. Prices ok.

Stopped in spontaneously last night....the service was attentive and very accommodating.....great! I really wanted to try the spiced meat and it was beautifully prepared and what can I say, it was very, very tasty... my wife also really liked it. Since the recommendation for Wednesday was a burger yesterday, my wife took the meat burger and I took the fish burger! Both arrived in a reasonable time and were beautifully presented with a light sourdough bun. My wife ordered the burger medium and got it...She was very satisfied...my fish burger was also an eye-catcher! Unfortunately, I found the amount of fish (a long piece) in the ratio of lettuce, remoulade, pickles, onions and popcorn to be not so harmonious... tried the fish on its own, tasted very good and was also very juicy... but the very Spicy side dishes, such as the tartar sauce and the many pickles, almost completely masked the taste of the fish...here too, tried individually, the tartar sauce was great, but too spicy for the fish.... We paid €22.90 for each burger menu. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether that's appropriate...for us these were the most expensive burgers (especially considering the amount of fish) we've eaten so far.

Ended up here by chance because the parking lot is opposite and it's dinner time. Service and food are very good, whether fish or meat.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Das Restaurant liegt in einer Seitenstraße, welches wir durch Zufall gefunden haben. Wir hatten sehr leckeren Fisch, der perfekt gebraten war. Das Gericht war sehr liebevoll angerichtet, mein Sonderwunsch Rosmarin-Kartoffel statt Pommes zu bekommen wurde sehr freundlich und ohne Extrakosten umgesetzt. Das Gemüse war nicht 0815 sondern wirklich mal was anderes. Das Team war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Lediglich die eine oder andere Dekoration sollte mal überdacht bzw. entfernt werden. Wir kommen gerne nochmal wieder!

Visited today on June 28th, modern cuisine with our own creations. Had braided cod fillet, unfortunately a lot of bones, but very tasty with a small salad and fried potatoes. I had the black beer steak on fried potatoes with caramelized onions. Unfortunately the meat was very knobby (it's better to use a carbonate) and unfortunately I didn't taste any of the black beer. Afterwards there was a pistachio ice cream, a caraway schnapps and a real thunderstorm under the umbrella outside. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere, sat outside and sat out the thunderstorm and rain outside!

The two of us were there around 6 p.m. We initially had a table inside and were able to move later when one outside became available. Despite the restaurant being full, things went very quickly. We had the “Schnitzel from the country pork”. Absolute recommendation!!! The dessert was also a hit. The plates are very decorative and lovingly arranged. The eye is definitely there. Unfortunately we have already left, otherwise we would have come again on Wednesday for Burger Day. If you want to be on the safe side, it's best to reserve a table. Conclusion: Great food & great staff!

Und immer wieder können wir sagen - IHR SEID SPITZE - es war uns wieder ein Fest bei euch. Bedienung super, Essen überragend lecker, Preis-Leistung sehr, sehr gut. Die Teller sind liebevoll und aufwendig angerichtet. Das Auge isst mit. Ihr macht das sehr gut!

In einer Seitenstrasse der Strandpromenade findet sich zentrumsnah das „Ahlbecker Flair“. Es ist ein Kleinod mit kleiner Küche (im Essensraum), engagierten Chef (hinter der Theke) und charmanter Bedienung. Die Karte ist Ostsee-orientiert, dh. bestückt mit Fischgerichten, Fleisch und auch etwas Vegetarisches. Toll sind die riesigen und sehr vielfältigen Salate mit Fisch, die wirklich satt machen. Brot bzw. Toast muss man extra bestellen (als Brotfan gäbe das an dieser Stelle von mir sonst einen Punktabzug, aber hier stimmt sonst alles andere und der Salat ist wirklich riesig). Das Essen kommt frisch, toll angerichtet, in grossen Portionen und auch noch flink daher. Die Crew ist interessiert, ob alles passt (keine Alibi-Nachfragerei) und versucht auch Extrawünsche zu erfüllen. Preis-Leistung ist iO. Das Restaurant ist nur von Mo - Fr geöffnet, daher am besten reservieren. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Small menu with great fish dishes that were beautifully prepared. We had the Captains plate & fish of the day (gurnard). Unfortunately, we were told that vegetables are currently very expensive and that's why the proportion of vegetables was very low. We consider the prices to be very reasonable.

We got a seat in the beautiful restaurant on a Saturday evening (without a reservation). The staff is super friendly, motivated and committed! The drinks and food were delivered quickly and were incredibly tasty! Even a gluten-free version (for fish) was possible without any problems! We'd love to come back!

Unfortunately we were disappointed. The furnishings had little to do with "flair", the radio played loudly with hectic music, it wasn't really comfortable. The small starter salad was extremely straightforward, the fish was lukewarm. But maybe they were just having a bad day.

We were welcomed and served very nicely. Our special requests were fully addressed and recommendations were made and help was offered when choosing a meal. We opted for the house burger and a large schnitzel. Both tasted extremely good and were very, very rich. Ultimately we felt very picked up and full :-) If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back.

This restaurant is probably one of the best in the Baltic Sea resort of Ahlbeck. The atmosphere is very nice and invites you to eat. The service is good, the ambience has to be careful that the time is not shown too much (upholstery) and the food was below average. I had pork neck steak in a black beer marinade and onions, there was no taste of the marinade and there was no taste of the rosemary in the potatoes.

Hello everyone. Went spontaneously to the small, well-run restaurant today. We were warmly welcomed. The food (I had steak orfour, my wife had a captain's plate - three types of fish), everything, including the crisp side salad, was highly recommended. Very nice staff. Would love to come back.
