It was one of the best restaurants in the area. The portions were generous, and the service was prompt. The only drawback was the rather late opening hours. But otherwise, we'd be happy to come back 🥰

My wife and I went out to dinner last night. We had wisely reserved a table. The atmosphere was pleasant. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food, well, what can I say? Both plates were very attractively presented, the salad was fresh, the fried potatoes were delicious, and the fish was superbly breaded and cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be back for dinner next week.

The atmosphere is great, and the food came quickly. I ordered a non-alcoholic beer, which was warm compared to the dark beer on tap. The chicken fillet was only about 200g. There was more salad and only three croquettes on top. And for €23.50.

They look very rude, if you call asking in English they hang up the phone directly.

Well, I don't know why it's rated so highly. If you don't expect too much, it's OK. Take your foot off the gas a bit with the drink prices. Soon you'll be like your colleagues on Mallorca.

The food was truly fabulous. The staff were all in a great mood and even accommodated personal requests. The burger was very large, but the schnitzel couldn't be surpassed in size. Kudos to the chef, and keep up the good work.

This restaurant is, in my opinion, a real insider tip. Located just a few meters from the promenade, this small but highly recommended restaurant is located. We were four adults and one child. The menu is a bit spartan at first glance, but ultimately completely sufficient, and there's also an extensive children's menu. The menu mainly consists of a few fish dishes and home-style fare like schnitzel or steak au four. There are also salads with chicken or fish and a purely vegetarian dish. Two of our group were a bit skeptical when they saw the menu, but by the end of the evening, they didn't regret their visit. It was incredibly delicious. All the ingredients were very fresh, crisp, and perfectly paired. Even something as seemingly simple as fries turned out to be a delicious side dish. The schnitzel was very tender and delicious. At the end of the day, we weren't overly full and didn't feel disgustingly full; we were simply well-satiated and merely "sad" that our plates were empty and the flavor was gone. My only minor criticism: there could have been one or two more croquettes on the plate, but that's certainly a matter of opinion. The ambiance is fine. It's not at all uncomfortable, but it didn't make us want to linger forever. That's certainly not the goal of this restaurant, and we'll definitely be back. The staff was super friendly and very pleasant. For five people, we paid just over €130 for five drinks, four main courses, and one children's meal. I definitely recommend this restaurant, which doesn't just want to sell food but also wants to please with its taste.

Visit on August 1st. 3 adults and 2 children. For starters, we had spiced meat and a mixed salad. Both were truly outstandingly delicious, especially the salad, which was beautifully presented and dressed with our own vinaigrette. For main course, we had a salad plate with salmon, a veggie pan, and a dark beer onion steak. In summary, we can only say: chapeau! Truly fantastic and highly recommended for anyone visiting Ahlbeck. This evening, I went to dinner with my family at Ahlbecker Flair. Two of the dishes we ordered were truly delicious and impressed us – freshly prepared and full of flavor! Unfortunately, the spiced meat couldn't keep up: It was rather bland in flavor, the consistency seemed strongly of a gravy thickener, and the pieces of meat were very small. It's a shame, because otherwise, the visit was pleasant. Overall, it was still a good meal with friendly service – hence a solid four stars.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend! Wir wurden von einem sehr netten Kellner bedient, und das Essen hat wirklich lecker geschmeckt. Wir hatten ein „Steak au Four“, zweimal den Kapitänsteller und einmal den Lachs mit Salat. Leider wurde das Kinderessen vergessen, weshalb ich einen Punkt abziehen muss. Ansonsten aber auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung!

In the Ahlbeck atmosphere, you can feel and hear how much fun the employees have at work – and I think that's really nice to experience! The food is also incredibly delicious (my fish was a bit dry for my taste, so it didn't give it a full 5)! We spontaneously got a table without a reservation, and I even got croquettes to go with my meal upon request. It was great, uncomplicated, and everyone was very friendly! If you can do without a water view, you'll be very happy here (and it's worth it)!

For several years now, we've been visiting Ahlbecker Flair several times a year. Each time, we're greeted with a friendly welcome, great ambiance, and delicious food. All in all, we highly recommend it.

We've passed by here several times on vacation, but this time we were drawn to the restaurant. We were very kindly assigned a table, and the menu was brought right away. We had the redfish with croquettes and vegetables, as well as the steak au four with crispy fries. Both were delicious. Compliments to the kitchen. We'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

Wir waren hier zum Abendessen und wurden positiv überrascht. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir haben sogar draußen einen Platz bekommen und einmal das Hamburger Schnitzel, die Veggie Pfanne und eine Dessert bestellt. Sonderwünsche wurden prompt erfüllt. Das Schnitzel war mega, die Pommes richtig Cross. Dessert sehr lecker. Wir werden wiederkommen!

The Ahlbecker Flair restaurant is located a few steps away from the promenade. It's worth the walk. The food and, above all, the friendly service are impressive. Here, the guest is still king. When I wanted to reserve a table for the following day, they even checked a weather app to see if it was still possible to sit outside in the evening. Very attentive. A restaurant where you feel welcome. May 2025 Again, Ahlbecker Flair. The service is still the best and friendliest in the entire town. The food is lovingly prepared and delicious. Unfortunately, the dining room is a bit small, so if you want to get a seat, I recommend making a reservation. We were lucky; someone had just paid. My conclusion: Next time, definitely here!

Every time we visit Ahlbeck, we have to go to Ahlbecker Flair at least once. The atmosphere is simply fantastic—it's like visiting friends. The food is sooooo delicious😋 😋 and is prepared in a small, open kitchen with great attention to detail. There's a lot going on on the plate. Be sure to try the Sea Buckthorn Spritz, or two😅😅. And if possible, choose dessert. It's a treat for both the palate and the eyes. It's like a child's birthday party on a plate 🥳🥳🎂. And most importantly: The team is simply fantastic. Truly wonderful hosts and they put a lot of heart into it🥰🥰. We always enjoy coming back. See you soon.

Excellent food in a cozy atmosphere This evening we had dinner at the Ahlbecker Flair and had an overall successful visit to the restaurant. The guest room is small, but very comfortably furnished, so you immediately feel at home. The dishes were not only excellent in terms of taste, but also prepared with great attention to detail. Each plate was a little feast for the eyes and you could clearly taste the quality of the ingredients. For dessert there was homemade ice cream in a glass with fruit – also delicious 😋. We asked in advance whether we could enter the restaurant with our dog. It was widely advertised that dogs were welcome and featured a suitable door sign. However, we had to leave the restaurant with our dogs before we could order. Guests coming after us had verbally rudely commented that our Bolonkas could shake and fur could get into the food from the neighboring table. The dogs lay sweetly on their blanket under our table. Instead of giving the person who protests loudest the right, we would have liked people who were unfriendly to animals to be made aware that dogs are welcome. Or take down the “Dogs Welcome” sign on the front door. Since we then had to leave the restaurant, we cannot provide any information about the food. But we won't come back either. In another restaurant, “despite the dogs,” we were indeed warmly welcomed and not lured with false words.

Bei unserer Ankunft hing bereits ein Schild an der Tür, dass die Kartenzahlung aus technischen Gründen nicht möglich sei. Da wir kein Bargeld dabei hatten und uns auch nicht der nächste Bankautomat mitgeteilt wurde, haben wir uns für ein anderes Restaurant entschieden. Da ich schon bei vielen Gastronomiebetrieben erlebt habe, dass eine nicht mögliche Kartenzahlung als Ausrede dafür gilt, dass man doch lieber Bargeld akzeptiert, um Kosten oder Steuern zu sparen, werde ich diese Lokalität nicht mehr besuchen. Schade …

After some very bad experiences with restaurants in Ahlbeck, we were very positively surprised here. We were welcomed very nicely and served. A small menu selection on the menu is enough to find a meal that suits you. The food was freshly prepared (you can even hear the schnitzel knocking :-)) and was also very tasty. You should definitely pay a visit to this young team. In contrast to other restaurants in Ahlbeck that are completely overpriced and offer no quality, you can eat here with peace of mind.

So it's not a fancy restaurant. We had hamburger schnitzel, captain's platter and salad with salmon. It was also good that we didn't have to wait forever for the food. Freshly tapped beer and sea buckthorn spritz rounded off the meal. The service was personable, attentive and friendly. The cleanliness was impeccable. Since the restaurant is rather small, you should reserve in advance. In summer you can also sit outside. Clear recommendation.

Vacation and eating out go together like bad luck and brimstone. Supporting local locations and especially family-run ones is a matter of the heart. The evening before at the Italian restaurant, you had a royal meal and was about to burst (due to the quantity), but you had to make some compromises in this restaurant for the same money. What was positive: the friendly service and the schnitzel. Rest of the meal: a handful of fries and "fresh" salad. A few tattered lettuce leaves, a blueberry, a piece of orange and beetroot threads. I was still able to discover one(!) piece of tomato. But seriously. For over €20 per dish you can expect something different. Just never again. Only to the Greek or Italian. At least you get something for your money.

The menu wasn't particularly large, but the dishes were very tasty. The kitchen is next to the counter and is open in the room, so it is to be expected that you will smell stronger after eating. Conclusion: book a table in advance and eat quickly and deliciously.
