We had lunch at the "Metzger" several times and were actually satisfied again. What we noticed negatively is that they now seem to be saving on the eggs when it comes to spaetzle. The spaetzle were very “pale” and tasted a bit floury. Too bad!! The meat, salad and other side dishes were, as expected, flawless. The service was, as always, polite and quick.

Außergewöhnliche gute Küche. Da wird das meiste noch selbst gemacht. Uhrig lecker und natürlich, freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr schöner Biergarten.😇😂

Food was very good. When my food came, I discovered that there was mushrooms in the food, but I have an allergy. Unfortunately it wasn't on the menu that there were mushrooms in the food. But there were no problems returning the food, I then ate something else and it was also very good.

Seit dem Besitzerwechsel eine Enttäuschung. Der Laden hat komplett an Qualität verloren. Das Essen war ungenießbar und der Service ist sehr schwach geworden.

Very good restaurant. The service is very nice and attentive. On the terrace you have a fantastic view over Lake Chiemsee. A visit is worth it.

Ok, the food is definitely a matter of taste. I found it very tasty. However, the service did not match the restaurant's standards in any way. Twice I was brought regular Coke instead of Diet Coke (once I would tolerate it as an oversight), and another guest was brought non-alcoholic wheat instead of non-alcoholic beer. One of the courses was initially missing for me, but I was then served the only lukewarm course from the next table.

Great location. Great service, delicious beer and great food. Absolutely recommended. If I'm in Bamberg again, I'll come back.

Wir müssen jetzt endlich auch mal eine Bewertung dalassen:) In dem familiengeführten Restaurant kann man sich kulinarisch verwöhnen lassen. Sei es Fleisch, frischer Fisch, indisches Büffet oder mediterrane Küche. Die sehr vielfältige Speisekarte lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Noch dazu ist alles sehr professionell zubereitet und geschmacklich mit tollen Gewürzen verfeinert. Alles, was wir selbst bzw. Freunde und Bekannte gekostet haben war sehr, sehr lecker! Ein weiterer Pluspunkt geht an das ganze Team. Die ganze Familie und auch das Personal sind so freundlich und aufmerksam, dass man auch deswegen noch sehr gerne kommt. Wir waren schon oft privat oder geschäftlich, zu Silvester oder Weihnachtsfeiern dort, immer zu empfehlen!!! Besonders schön sitzt man im Sommer im Biergarten. Macht weiter so ;)
