A friendly welcome and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, although the pizza could have been a bit hotter. Towards the end, the service dwindled a bit, so we skipped dessert. Overall, though, it was a pleasant evening.

We had dinner here today on a very busy evening, and overall the experience was very good. The service was excellent — friendly and attentive. We had to wait a little longer than usual for the food, but since the restaurant was crowded, it was completely understandable. The food was tasty, though the trout was a bit too salty and one of the potatoes was slightly undercooked. The chicken with risotto was tasty, but not extraordinary. What we really liked is that the menu has plenty of options — from hamburgers, pizzas, salmon dishes, soups, and schnitzel to a wide selection of cocktails. The drinks menu is especially good, with many interesting cocktails to choose from.

I have been few times during the last weeks and I highly recommend it. Great service, quality of the food is awesome and reasonable prices.

Wow—what a fantastic evening. Everything was perfect. Price/performance, service (Mika), quality of the food, quantity, ambiance. Even the wait for the food was good. I had venison stew and Kaiserschmarrn. The others had burgers and pizza. Everything is highly recommended.

After a previous bad experience at Bier-Adam, this restaurant was a balm for the nerves and a pleasant evening experience! It significantly improved our view of the professionalism of German restaurants. Modern, with helpful and agile staff, and the menu was more in line with today's food trends, not just traditional heavy German dishes. They spoke English, the menu was in German, English, Italian, French. I recommend it!

The pizzas here are so good, and you can sit outside and enjoy the Berchtesgaden climate!

We're here on vacation and stopped at the Edelweiss. The food and drinks were excellent. Our waiter, Julian, deserves special mention. This is the kind of great service you'd expect. A relaxed and uncomplicated manner. Keep it up. That's very rare these days.

Very delicious food. If you want to go during the day (lunch), that's no problem at all. For the evening, around 5 p.m., you should definitely make a reservation. The pizza was delicious and the service was very attentive. And the atmosphere is great.

Food is delicious! We came here spontaneously yesterday, enjoyed it very much, and came back today. Menu is large providing many options. They also have a great selection of cocktails. Wine menu is relatively small, but I was able to find wines I enjoyed.

We loved our dinner! We were a party of six visiting from the US (Florida) and Wiesbaden and had two kids. Our server Raidi was awesome, friendly and attentive. The pizzas are huge! We will definitely come back next time in the area.

We got a table for four that evening without a reservation. The food was exceptionally good. The service was very friendly, and the restrooms were also very nice.

For the last 3 nights, Raidi has been our server. The first night I needed food for my daughter who was not feeling well, he helped me out immediately. The next two nights he found seating for my family quickly and helped us. The food has been OUTSTANDING. I have never eaten all my meals at the same place before. EINKEHR is worth it and so is Raidi!

If you don't want to eat at a tourist restaurant but are looking for something special in terms of quality, taste, and service, you should stop here. A must-visit restaurant on any visit to Burgenland. Super friendly staff, fresh, very good food!

Our waiter was lovely and very attentive! We had short ribs, two Pizzas, salad and bruschetta. Everything was amazing , including our drinks. The food was above expectations. One little hiccup was the bruschetta, when I make it, I always like to add some shallots, peppers, capers , and Parmesan, so the flavors pop.( I was missing some flavors, I get it, it’s personal preference). The short rips where out of this world good. The small salad had the perfect balance of lettuce to crunch and sweetness (pears). It was delicious. When you are in Berchtesgaden, you have to stop here for a meal!

Have Had pizza here multiple times and they have very tasty and fulfilling pizzas.

The Bolognese was delicious. Julian deserves a big raise. His service is truly outstanding.

Julian is the best man. The best waitress I've ever encountered. He takes great care of his guests in a humorous and honest manner. Definitely deserves a raise.

We tried the Margarita pizza and the Burrata pizza, both were very good, they were no different from the taste in Italy. Those who will come from Turkey can try these two pizzas here with peace of mind.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at this restaurant. We would especially like to mention the extremely friendly and attentive waiter. The meal was a real highlight. I had a seasonal fish dish: It was not only delicious and sophisticated, but also beautifully presented. My favorite restaurant in Berchtesgaden!

Very tasty pizza! A hit both visually and taste-wise! Prices are reasonable. Because it is part of a hotel, there was occasionally passenger traffic in the winter garden that had nothing to do with the restaurant. Nevertheless, we would like to come back!

The Restaurant Einkehr is a culinary revelation in every respect. The ambience is a highlight for the eye. The staff are totally attentive and give each guest the best tips for their personal taste. The stop is an enrichment for the Hotel Edelweiß.

Wir waren im Restaurant zu Abend essen. Meine Frau hatte einen Burger und ich eine Pizza. Beide Speisen waren sehr lecker und das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis hat absolut gestimmt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Abend war sehr schön hnd wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

There we were taken to the Einkehr restaurant. Everything worked exemplary. Thank you for the lovely evening

I've been coming here regularly for dinner on vacation for years. Everything is perfect here, from the service to the dishes. I don't understand how anyone can complain about bad service in a mushy tone. Even small special requests for dishes were always easily accommodated for me. I'm looking forward to the next visit in January.

Very nice atmosphere, great service and very good food.

Here we always had great Caesar salad (one of my favorite dishes) with melted onions, finely sliced, crispy bacon and plenty of parmesan. It has tasted different for a few months and then last week the onions were half raw, the bacon was in very wide pieces and not crispy, almost no parmesan, little dressing. The Aperol Spritz (ordered in the lobby as we were sitting there) was also disappointingly watery and didn't taste good. It's a shame because I always enjoyed visiting the Edelweiss.

Very nice little restaurant! Tastefully decorated! Very nice staff and very accommodating! Pizza comes fresh from the pizza oven to the table! Always my pleasure! Winter garden also available and beautifully decorated for Christmas! Animals are also welcome!

Great service and extremely friendly staff. Also extremely refined and delicious cuisine. We were visiting Berchtesgaden with 2 small children and they were extremely helpful and sweet. Will definitely come back here again!

A fixture in Berchtesgaden, very good pizza, international menu with seasonally changing dishes. Very good drinks menu. Attentive service, although staff has changed frequently recently. Some dishes, such as the risotto, are quite small, not for those who are hungry. Caesar's salad, on the other hand, is really big and is a main course. It's particularly nice to sit in the newly designed winter garden.

YUM! The Caesar salad was refreshing and delicious. The pizza burrata was also very good. Heidelbeeren Schorle was good. Service friendly and fast. Food came quickly. Fancy, modern cozy, good atmosphere. Would definitely come again. You can’t go wrong eating here, highly recommend!

Today we ordered 2 Viennese veal schnitzels. The food was excellent. The service rather bad. First I had to wait almost 10 minutes for my glass, after which the water was already put on the table. We previously asked for ketchup for both portions, but again only one was brought. Of course that can happen. Still, I don't want to be yelled at when I ask. Until then everything was fine for us. Working as a waitress is not easy, I know that from my own experience. We always try to be understanding when we eat out. However, what happened when the payment was made resembles an attempted fraud. We had previously found out about the menu online. According to the current status as of October 27th, 2024, the price per schnitzel is 27 euros. The price was exactly as listed on the restaurant menu that was handed out. However, for no reason at all we were charged 29 euros per schnitzel. When I noticed this fraud, the bill was corrected immediately. According to the waitress, the error was in the system, as it was already calculating the new prices. The explanation was very unbelievable. It's unbelievable what conditions prevail here now. I want to be billed fairly. I want to pay the price that is offered to me. Everything else is malicious deception. THIS JUST DOESN'T WORK. So I have to give the whole thing one star. The poor tourists who probably endure everything here unnoticed. Really a shame!

Raisa is great, super accommodating! The rest of the staff is well trained and generally friendly and attentive. The pizzas are delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed, accompanied by Italian music. Absolutely recommended!!!

In der Einkehr hatten wir wieder einmal einen wunderschönen Abend mit hervorragendem Essen. Pizza, Pasta und Tatar waren spitze!

We had two pizzas for dinner, on the terrace with stoves. There was also a large blanket. We ate very well, but the service could be improved. We see how the tables asked the waiter and he never came, and with bad faces.

Great food and great service! Ate here twice over the course of a week.pizza the first time (delicious!) and a steak the next time (also delicious). Unfortunately no pictures of the food because each time we ate here was after a long day of hiking and we were so famished we forgot to take a pic and just dug in eating!

The pizza was really world class! Thin, crispy dough, very well topped, high quality. The service deserves 6 stars. If I didn't live 800km away, I would eat here every other day!

The Pizzeria Einkehr restaurant is part of the Edelweiß Hotel. It's best to reserve here in advance, it can be done quickly and easily online. The service in the restaurant was very attentive and the food was of good quality. I will eat here again the next time I visit Berchtesgaden.

We had an appetizer and main course. They were very tasty. The wine we had was also very good and tasted delicious with our food🤩 The only downside for us was that we were sitting on the covered terrace which we choosed because our assumption was that it was allowed to smoke on the terrace but not on the covered terrace. Unfortunately we had some people sitting inside who were going out for a smoke. The waiter allowed them to smoke on the covered terrace. This was for us the reason to leave after our main course.

A luxurious place to eat sweets and coffee after a long trip from Austria to Germany. It is located in the middle of the large square. The place resembles historical films.

Too hot inside during the summer. The lettuce in the salad was not fresh, and the burratina on the pizza was either frozen and/not fresh. It was very hard. Prices are high for what it's served.

Our tour guide brought us here for lunch after the Eagle's Nest tour. The good part? The food was pretty good. I had the pork schnitzel, and it was nice, especially with the cranberry sauce they served with it. My husband got the tuna pizza, and he liked it too. The downside? The service. When we asked for the bill, the server made a point to remind us twice that tips weren’t included yet. First off, even my Bavarian friends confirmed they'd never ask for tips from locals. Seems like it's something they try on foreigners, especially English speakers. Plus, the service wasn’t any good, we actually felt rushed, and tipping should be reserved for excellent service

We came over spontaneously after swimming, the very nice young man from the service said that one table had just been paid for and we were welcome to wait. After 2 minutes he led us to the table (in the future I would make a reservation, at least when we are on holiday here and there are a lot of holidaymakers on site) The food (we had bruschetta + pizza) was very good. The service was really great, very attentive, quick, not exaggerated… Super nice restaurant with a great ambience in the middle of Berchtesgaden's pedestrian zone.

Four cheese pizza was a total disaster. The cheeses were not listed in the menu - the surprise was that it included Gorgonzola which overwhelmed the whole pizza. Guess the chef was using up odds and ends but this was not a good combo. I should have sent back immediately. Didn’t eat much of it. They could do gluten free pasta which one person in our group needed. Our waiter, Julian, was excellent!!!!! I would go back if he waited on us! Caesar salad was mediocre. The veal osso bucco on GF pasta was good. Please tell diners what kind of cheese is included on the pizza. This was a big miss in the hit or miss department.

The restaurant looks chic and modern, which is inviting. I ordered pizza and aperol. First the positive: The service was very nice, and I got my pizza after only 5 minutes of waiting. Unfortunately, my Aperol Spritz was very thin because there was little Aperol in it (you can also tell from the color of the drink, which is not intense. Is there a saving on the Aperol?). The pizza was OK.

Die Speisen Auswahl ist umfangreich, preislich sehr moderat, so dass sich etwas für jeden Geschmack finden sollte. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Taste is mediocre, not worth the price. Falafel was good, some of the ravioli were still frozen and didn't taste particularly good either.

Good alternative to the finer dining of the Edweiss Berchtesgaden, especially with kids. No issues getting seating for a family with kids between 5 and 630, busier later. Staff spoke good English if you don’t speak German.

Waitress "Kristyna" is really waitress???? Strange. She's very nervous, unfocused, unconcentrated, twice wrong orders. That's not very good advertising for a waitress like that.

Nice restaurant that we discovered by chance on our first evening. We even went there a second time (if only we had gone a third time, the other restaurant we went to instead was underground...). The burgers were fantastic, as was the food on our second evening. We recommend. Service is attentive and very friendly. The ambience is fine so far, only the volume of the football game broadcast in the otherwise empty guest room on the second evening scared us outside to join the other guests. We would be happy to come back any time we are in the region again.

Delicious food, excellent wait staff. We had a few food restrictions and they were very accommodating and patient even though we came in a little near the kitchen's closing time. The food was excellent! We had a range of pasta, pizza, salad, chef's recommendation and a child's meal. Lovely atmosphere as well.
