Beautiful restaurant. Very friendly staff. The food: Michelin Star quality food. Absolutely delicious. I cleaned the plates. Extreme attention to the quality of ingredients. I am sure the owner is the chef, because that would explain the extreme attention to details.

Once again we had a buffet delivered for our big birthday. It was phenomenal! All dishes are presented in a variety of ways, well prepared and extremely appealing. The staff was reliable and friendly - all guests were completely enthusiastic - the grupfte Schäufele with dumplings was exemplary. You can rely on tarragon!

Food takes ages to come and it is nothing special

My husband and I had dinner at Estragon during our weekend in Nürnberg, and we absolutely loved the vibes of the place. We dined in the inner garden and were served by the kindest and most attentive waiter (I regret not asking for his name), who even made an impressive effort to speak to us in Italian (we are an Italian couple). For appetizers, we had the tartare and tabbouleh, both of which were delicious. My husband ordered the shallots, and I had the trout fillet with mushroom risotto. While the risotto was slightly too salty for my taste, it was still enjoyable overall. They also have an excellent selection of wines. In terms of pricing, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but that’s consistent with what we found in Nürnberg. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend dining here.

Even after a whopping 17 (!) years, I often and fondly think back to tarragon. Back then, I often went to your place with work colleagues for a delicious lunch or sometimes for a cozy meal with my husband in the evening. Nice to see that your concept is working and the beautiful restaurant still exists. If I ever come to Nuremberg again, a visit to you will be high on the priority list. A great restaurant with very good service and surprisingly good value for money. The very friendly welcome was rounded off by excellent food at good prices. There is also outdoor seating. A clear recommendation from our side!

Top cuisine and a very interesting concept.

I can only praise the kitchen. We had antipasti and various main courses. Everyone was amazed at the excellent taste. Very inexpensive too! Tip top 5 stars.

Wir sind zufällig auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam geworden und am 1. Abend in Nürnberg zu Zweit dort gewesen. Wir waren so begeistert, dass wir am nächsten Abend 4 Freunde mitgenommen haben. Alle waren von Ihren Gerichten begeistert. Die Auswahl ist sehr kreativ gehalten und Vegetarier haben eine gute Auswahl. Die Karte insgesamt ist eher klein gehalten. Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Very tasty food and super friendly service

Wir waren jetzt zum 2ten Mal im Estragon. Genau wie beim ersten Mal sind wir begeistert. Vor 2 Jahren sind wir im Urlaub zufällig dort gelandet und waren alle (4Personen/4 unterschiedliche Gerichte) sehr begeistert. Also war klar, wenn wir nochmal in Nürnberg sind müssen wir wieder hin. Der Service ist flink, freundlich und aufmerksam Das Ambiente geschmackvoll. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Ob Fleisch, Fisch, vegetarisch oder vegan. Wir hatten beide als Vorspeise die Spargelcremesuppe. Mein Hauptgang war die Blumenkohlpaella, die war phantastisch abgeschmeckt, besser geht's nicht. Mein Mann hatte,die Rigatoni mit geräucherter Forelle, auch er war begeistert. Zum Dessert hatte er das Tartufo, das war auch sehr gut. Danke für derart gute kulinarische Momente.

I attended a No Light Dinner with friends on February 23, 2024. The introduction was very detailed and well done. The only thing that was a bit strange was the advice that you shouldn't speak out directly during the dinner if you don't like the artist performing. But since I'm open to everything, I was just excited to see what was to come. The restaurant was really perfectly taped off and completely dark. After the starter, you had the opportunity to ask the blind service staff questions about their everyday life and challenges. That was very interesting, created new perspectives and underlined the inclusive idea. The four courses of the dinner were all very tasty and the quantities were completely sufficient. At the end of the dinner you could also read what you actually ate at the counter. It would be nice if there were photos of the courses on display here, or, as I experienced at another no-light dinner, if there was a prepared plate of each course on the counter for you to view. As far as the dinner and the service and also the inclusive idea were concerned, the dinner was very nicely implemented. However, I could have easily done without the artist. She had a great voice but no talent when it came to her jokes. Their jokes, which were very much aimed at the participants' love lives, were rather unpleasant. I didn't want to find out that evening which participants were still having sex and how often. That was somehow over the top and more to be ashamed of. Here you should limit yourself to the singing or take the artist out of the program completely and give more space to inclusive thoughts and the question round and rather do two rounds here. Because the artist performed several times and took up a lot of time, the end of the evening seemed a bit rushed. The dessert was already served with candlelight, which was a shame. And clearing up also seemed rushed. Of course, it's clear that you're already clearing away, but if you're also clearing away all the unused cutlery and glasses and sweeping the tables completely empty, it seems more like being thrown out. Because of the artist, I wouldn't recommend the No Light Dinner.

No light dinner or: the Musikantenstadl atmosphere, which I DEFINITELY hadn't booked The No Light Dinner at Estragon is different in every way than any other dinner in the dark evening that I have attended so far. Carrot: - the inclusive concept is great - I really liked the detailed thematic introduction to the course of the evening and the underlying concept! - Even better was the opportunity to ask the blind service staff about their everyday lives during the waiting break between the first and second courses. This breaks down barriers in the mind; really amazing! - the restaurant staff was extremely friendly across the board - the food was good and offered varying levels of difficulty for guests eating in the dark Whip: - the artist and her impact on the entire atmosphere of the evening: If as an organizer you have to say in the introduction: "Please don't express your displeasure loudly if you don't like the artist"... phew, then maybe it's not because "you can't argue about art" or because that the audience does not understand the artist. Maybe the artist is just... not well suited to the format? - During two waiting breaks between courses, we had the pleasure of listening to the musical actress, who unfortunately only sang a little, but rather tried out a cabaret act. The shame factor was so great that the entire atmosphere at the table (consisting of 8 people who took part in the dinner in 3 different groups) went straight to the basement. Bewilderment mixed with the idea of ​​being trapped by the hidden camera. The youth would describe the performance as “cringe.” The supposedly "vulgar humor" was definitely vulgar (and don't get me wrong: I can easily laugh under the table at vulgar jokes), but the humor was simply missing. - When the artist initiated singing hits together at the second performance, I was already thinking of a 2 star review. Since the boomer audience, as expected, got into the mood and began to sway, the artist overdid it so much that the dessert was suddenly served to us in a hurry and in the light. Definitely felt like I was getting kicked out - I'm all for hiring artists as entertainers. But if I, as an organizer, kept receiving mixed feedback like this, I would simply change the artist. I would have preferred the €65 to go entirely to Tarragon. But the thought that the lady also received money from me for her appearance is more than annoying. I would therefore only recommend the No Light Dinner for an audience of 40+. I still have goosebumps. And not the good kind.

We attended a NoLight dinner. The reception was very nice, as were the staff. (We found the suggestion that you shouldn't tell the performing artist if you don't like it strange. But more on that later) The inclusive idea and implementation is really very nice. The question and answer session with the blind service staff between the starter and the intermediate course was particularly interesting (I'd love to have more of that). The food was good, but could have been a bit smarter for the price. I won't reveal more because I could imagine the menu repeating itself. Now for the negative: The artist who performed during breaks 2 and 3 was an imposition! Her singing was good, but mostly she wanted to “amuse”. She couldn't do that. It was a horror and it felt like it never ended. Even the most open-minded person doesn't want to know what the love lives of the over-50s sitting at the table are like. But the artist couldn't find an end... and then she came again in the second break! This lady dragged the evening down so much that you couldn't really enjoy it. Then candles were brought before dessert so that you could no longer enjoy dessert in the dark. From here on out everything seemed like being kicked out. There was no official ending. The meal wasn't announced in a guessing session, there was just a printed piece of paper at the bar. The tables were cleared away during dessert. The sighted colleagues also did this, probably to make things go faster. Since there was no goodbye, people paid at the bar and left while others were still eating. Really a shame. The toilets should also be mentioned: they are on floors 1, 2 and 3 without an elevator and between boxes in some offices. A well-intentioned piece of advice to the organizers: instead of asking the guests not to disturb the artist, you should separate from her. Better more information from blind colleagues.

I was here for the first time with several colleagues. Incredibly friendly, excellent food! The salad with grilled game fish was by far the best I have ever eaten. An absolute recommendation!

Insanely loud. There is no talk of relaxed enjoyment. Service was nice.

Simple but nice! Despite the chaos at the trade fair, we got a table straight away. The food was a dream! The pheasant meat with purè & chestnut sauce was to die for. From plating to service, everything is top. The furnishings are too simple for my taste, maybe a little more color with decoration. We are happy to recommend it! ☺️

The two of us had dinner and were absolutely positively surprised at how incredibly tasty food you can get even without stars and frills. Every course including a greeting from the kitchen was perfect, as was the doneness of the steak. Service is great and the ambience is nice but not exceptional. Price-performance is excellent and unparalleled. We'll definitely come back.

Das Essen war gut 4/5. Personal freundlich 5/5. Ambiente ist leider absolut lieblos 1/5. Bitte nicht mit schlicht verwechseln, sondern wirklich lieblos. Wände abgenutzt, Geruch im Restaurant war auch unangenehm. Daher nur drei Sterne.

Ich war heute mittag zum Essen hier, nicht das erste Mal, aber das erste Mal in der Mittagszeit... ich war überrascht über das günstige Mittagsangebot, welches sehr schmackhaft war... Die Bedienung war eine Azubiene die zwar noch am Anfang ihrer Ausbildung aber überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend ist. Weiter so... danke für das leckere Mittagessen, bis zum nächsten Mal😉

Sehr leckeres Essen und toller Service in netter Atmosphäre!

Wir waren vor ein paar Tagen beim No light Dinner. Das Konzept ist toll, es wird sich wirklich sehr viel Mühe mit dem Ambiente und im Service gegeben. Kurzfristige Essenseinschränkungen wurden beachtet und Alternativen gekocht, das war wirklich sehr nett! Das Vegane Menü war leider geschmacklich kein Highlight für mich. Zur Hauptspeise gab es Paprika gefüllt mit einem eingeweichten Brötchen und Pilzen - das war etwas befremdlich und geschmacklich gar nicht mein Fall. Der zwischengang war jedoch sehr lecker. Den Nachtisch gab es gegen 22 Uhr, auch das fanden wir etwas spät, angekündigt waren zwar min 3h, aber das war uns persönlich zu lang. Die Servicemitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Was den Abend aber leider bei uns in schlechter Erinnerung lässt, war das was zwischen den Gängen passiert ist. Online angekündigt war Musikalische Begleitung, vor Ort wurde uns dann eine etwas “skurrile” Künstlerin angekündigt. Wir persönlich fanden die Darbietung einfach nur furchtbar unangenehm und vulgär. Vielleicht haben wir die vulgären „Witze“ der Dame einfach nicht verstanden. Aber wir fanden es so dermaßen unangenehm und unangebracht, dass die Dame ständig irgendwas von einer Org!e im Dunklen redete und Fragen stellte wie „wer hatte heute schon S€x und wer hat heute noch S€x“. Die Rhetorik und die Stimme war toll und gekonnt, der Inhalt war uns, für ein No Light Dinner am Sonntagabend, sehr unangebracht.

Freitag gegen 1800 Uhr. Hervorragendes Essen (Fischgrillteller & Knödelgries). Lecker Wein. Bei gutem Oktober-Wetter draußen gesessen - sehr angenehm. Wurden mehrfach, freundlich, gefragt ob denn alles fein wäre. Reservieren ist empfehlenswert. Hier gehen wir erneut hin!

Selten so gut gegessen. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Freue mich schon aufs nächste Mal, wenn ich wieder in Nürnberg bin.

In diesem exquisiten inklusiven Restaurant wurden meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Speisen waren von höchster Qualität, kreativ zubereitet und boten eine geschmackliche Vielfalt, die jeden Gaumen erfreute. Die erlesene Auswahl an Weinen harmonierte perfekt mit den Gerichten und rundete das kulinarische Erlebnis ab. Was jedoch wirklich beeindruckte, war die außergewöhnlich aufmerksame und herzliche Bedienung, die den Abend zu etwas Besonderem machte. Ein Gesamterlebnis, das in jeder Hinsicht erstklassig war. Unbedingt für einen Date-Abend mit dem Partner zu empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen mit viel Gemüse und gesunden Ingredienzien. Es gibt etwa für Vegetarier und für Menschen mit Glutenunverträglichkeit. Das Bedienpersonal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit leckerem, frisch zubereitetem Essen und einem tollen Service. Wenn wir wieder in Nürnberg sind, kommen wir gerne wieder. Toll wäre es noch, wenn es auch ein Kindergericht auf der Karte geben würde. Die Spaghetti mit Tomatensauce, die wir als Alternative für die Kinder bekommen haben, waren leider viel zu pfeffrig.

Nous y avons passé un excellent moment pour mon anniversaire. Les plats sont excellents et sont travaillés. Le burger vegan, le médaillon de porc et les Bruschetta ont ravis nos papilles. Décoration raffinée et sobre. Le service était top avec carte en anglais. La terrasse est également sympa.
