Die besten Restaurants mit Restaurant Essen in Bayreuth

The food is good, but there is still a little room for improvement. Soup was a bit small. The service is also a bit lacking. If you drank a Diet Coke and then ordered water, you didn't get a new glass. The bottle was not opened and poured either. But the atmosphere is very cozy. I can definitely recommend it.

I chose the standard dish, aglio olio. If that's good, anything else is fine. It was very good! Spaghetti was altente!

Great café with very varied food

Waren auf der Durchreise und haben zwei Tage in Bayreuth verbracht. Waren am ersten Abend spontan in der Eule und hatten Glück, dass noch ein Plätzchen vorhanden war. Der Besitzer ist super nett und freundlich. Das Essen ist geschmacklich ein Wahnsinn, sehr frisch, sehr, sehr lecker und kein Fertigzeug. Man kann dort getrost alles empfehlen.

Delicious pizza. Highly recommended, and the pana cotta is just a dream. 😋 Great host. You will be served quickly and friendly. Definitely coming back, maybe tomorrow with the delicious food 🫠

Nice atmosphere, well-kept restaurant and well-kept outdoor area. The prices are absolutely reasonable, the food is good! All in all a nice Franconian restaurant.

Nice terrace and good service. Food solid, but nothing special. Price/performance unfortunately not balanced..

Köfte meat is a frozen product, which is a shame

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe von 30 Personen im Zollhaus essen – und wurden rundum begeistert! Trotz der Gruppengröße kamen alle Gerichte gleichzeitig und frisch auf den Tisch, was wirklich beeindruckend war. Das Essen war durchweg köstlich und von hoher Qualität. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Kaiserschmarrn – das war mit Abstand der beste, den ich je gegessen habe: fluffig, goldbraun gebraten, perfekt abgeschmeckt und einfach himmlisch. Auch der Service war hervorragend: aufmerksam, freundlich und gut organisiert. Die Atmosphäre im Zollhaus war angenehm und einladend – wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Ein großes Lob an das ganze Team – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Unfortunately, I can't understand the bad reviews at all, and thankfully I only read them after our visit. The food was very good, the portions were quite large. The service was very friendly. All in all, we would come back here again.

I was warmly welcomed, the host and staff were very nice, the room was clean. I would like more vegan options for breakfast, e.g. plant-based milk (for coffee, cornflakes) or fruit, vegan spread. Otherwise everything is fine.

Nice but old-fashioned, old rooms, worn-out mattresses but good breakfast, well, just as much as you can stand.

Currently closed after a devastating fire!
