Sehr lecker hier gegessen. Aufmerksamer Kellner.

Absolut die beste Musik-Playlist der Stadt und auch die beste Bolognese der Stadt. Ich würde sogar behaupten, es war die beste Bolognese, die ich je gegessen habe. Ein großartiges Erlebnis! Absolut empfehlenswert! Und das Personal ist einfach fantastisch!

Ich hatte einen doppelten Espresso, der wirklich sehr schwach war. Für das Glas Wasser dazu musste ich 3€ Aufpreis zahlen, eine absolute Frechheit. Auch für den Kuchen und die Pommes lohnte sich der Besuch nicht und das Sahnehäubchen obendrauf war, dass meine Freundin ihr Getränk in einem dreckigen Glas serviert bekommen hat. Dieser Besuch bleibt für uns ein einmaliger.

Der reservierte Tisch wurde nicht bereitgestellt. Der Mojito war ungenießbar. Die Kellner waren unfreundlich und aggressiv. Das Lokal hat stark nachgelassen. Ich kann es absolut nicht empfehlen!

Ich komme mindestens einmal in der Woche ins Café & Bistro Louis. Ich bin immer wieder begeistert von der Atmosphäre und der Freundlichkeit des Personals, die einem entgegen gebracht wird. Besonders hervorzuheben ist dabei Ricardo, der von mir 5 Sterne ***** erhält. Er ist freundlich, lustig und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist sehr reichlich und geschmacklich sehr gut. Ich kann die Lokalität nur weiter empfehlen.

Ich war im Louis – Café & Bistro und möchte unbedingt eine große Portion Lob dalassen. Schon beim Ankommen wird man herzlich empfangen – besonders von Ricardo, der mit seinem liebevollen und humorvollen Auftreten sofort für gute Laune sorgt. Mit seinem italienischen Charme schafft er eine Atmosphäre, in der man sich einfach wohlfühlt – fast so, als wäre man bei Freunden zu Besuch. Der Service ist aufmerksam, herzlich und gleichzeitig angenehm locker. Man spürt, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird und nicht einfach nur „abgefertigt“ wird. Das Essen war frisch, liebevoll angerichtet und super lecker – aber das Highlight bleibt der positive Spirit, den Ricardo in das Café bringt.

Ein einladender und lebendiger Ort, an dem Sie einen köstlichen Cappuccino oder eine fantastische Pizza genießen können. Der Service ist immer tadellos, von Riccardos einnehmender Freundlichkeit tagsüber bis hin zu Fjollas Professionalität am Abend.

Wir wurden von Riccardo bedient - dem besten Kellner ever. Super toller Service, sehr leckeres Essen (der Pizzateig unglaublich fluffig), gut gemixte Aperol und Limoncello Sprizz. Wenn wir noch mal in Bayreuth sind, kommen wir garantiert wieder.

Wir waren nur am Abend noch etwas trinken dort. Sehr gemütlich und gute Musik. Aber vor allem hat uns "Mirko Nontschew" gefallen. Riccardo schaut dem Nontschew nicht nur sehr ähnlich, er hat auch die Gestik und Mimik erstaunlich gut imitiert. Haben uns köstlich amüsiert und ein Gruppenfoto hat es auch noch gegeben. Klasse!

Wir gehen super gerne ins Louis, besonders zum Mittagessen. Riccardo serviert einem das sehr leckere italienische Essen immer mit bester Laune und lustigen Sprüchen und versüßt einem den Tag. Bei schönem Wetter sitzt man am Sternplatz auch sehr schön draußen. Und das Carbonara ist fantastisch!

Riccardo ist der Beste. Der Service war überragend. Essen war sehr lecker. Wenn wir noch mal hier sind, kommen wir gerne wieder. 😊

Lecker essen und die Bedienung ist der Oberhammer. Alles in allem eine ganz tolle Kombination. Wenn wir mal wieder in Bayreuth sind kommen wir gerne wieder.

Das Zentral gelegene Café und Bistro hat uns sehr überzeugt. Das Essen war wirklich vorzüglich, die Bedienung freundlich und zuvorkommend. Dass viele Außen Plätze vorhanden sind, runde das ganze noch ab. Preislich ist das voll in Ordnung. Ich würde sagen, wenn Hunger aufkommt und man es in der Innenstadt sollte man Louis schon aufsuchen.

Das Frühstück war lecker angerichtet und heiterer und freundlicher Service im Lokal.

I was at Café Louis yesterday and I was absolutely thrilled! The food was not only fresh and delicious, but also lovingly prepared. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Special praise goes to Ricardo: He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the visit truly special. You rarely find service like that! I will definitely be back and highly recommend Café Louis.

I have never seen such friendly and cordial service in Germany. I hardly had to wait and got the best pizza I have ever eaten. The restaurant is in a quieter place in the center of Bayreuth, so it is perfect if you want to eat something in peace or have a coffee. Great value for money for what you get. I would recommend it to everyone ❤️

On Friday, July 18, 2025, six of us went to Cafe Louis for a drink and a bit of relaxation. Ricardo had us laughing right away when we were ordering, and it continued the whole time. So, 10 points for Ricardo, who could definitely make a living as a comedian. The iced coffee and chocolate ice cream we ordered were very good and served with plenty of ice. The best part, though, was the pizza bread—even in Italy, I've never had anything this good. Just two pizza breads, a small jug of olive oil, and a carafe of good red wine—that's all you need for a lovely evening at Louis. All in all—full marks for the ambiance, food, and a great time. Special thanks to Ricardo for the entertaining two hours. Keep up the good work.

We were there with a larger group and were served super quickly and very friendly by Riccardo, the charismatic and humorous waitress. The food was super delicious, and the cevapcici and pasta were especially tasty. We'd happily return and highly recommend it.

Café Louis is located in the heart of Bayreuth. It's popular with locals, and we, as day-trippers, also had a great time. The coffee and cake were delicious. It's a shame, though, that they didn't serve ice cream on this warm day (ice coffee). The service staff was very friendly! We'd love to come back—to try the cevapcici 😁

Pure disappointment. The food, the chicken breast and fries, were so salty that you couldn't eat them at all. The waiter even tried the fries himself and spit them out. Unfortunately he only offered us free coffee as an apology. Unfortunately he expected full price for the food. Super sad and disappointed

Top location in the middle of the pedestrian zone of the old town. The range and quality of food and drinks is outstanding. Also the cake buffet! Very busy when the weather is good! Nice staff, great service. Price-performance ratio is right.

We stumbled into the café by chance and freezing. And what a happy coincidence! Perfect cheesecake! The cherry cake and an excellent barrique grappa are also very tasty. SUPER. And a charming, humorous, funny employee? Boss? ... Just great. When we are back in Bayreuth we will 100% come back.

Was there recently and had steak. You can have steak or you can't. At Louis you can have steak. The Cevapcici is supposed to be good... I have to try it.

Here you enter... and feel welcome (like in Bella Italia). The owner with his friendly manner (for me the Italian attitude to life), the food lovingly prepared, prices reasonable. Unfortunately for us it will remain a unique experience as we were there on holiday.

Anyone who is ever in Bayreuth or even just nearby MUST visit this wonderful restaurant! Everything is perfect, whether food, drinks, service staff or the boss - everything is world class! Everyone is super friendly and warm, I have never experienced anything like that. Some of the dishes are unusual (in a positive sense) and simply a 10/10, they cook with love here, you can see and taste it. We'll come back when we get the chance! 🤍

Unfortunately disappointing. Had the grilled chicken breast with vegetables and salad. The portion was really tiny for €16.90. 2 very small and thin pieces of chicken, 3 slices of zucchini and a slice of tomato. A ready-made cocktail dressing over the salad. For the price you can expect more...a shame

A walk around Bayeruth is always a pleasant experience. This cafe won't ruin it, but it won't add a pleasant attitude either. The food is mediocre, the pizza tasteless, and the flagship dish in the photo is also not impressive. Minced almost tasteless meat on rice. The biggest surprise was the coffee. It tastes like it has been poured many times. Certainly not from an express machine. Honest 3 stars, mainly for the very good service.

The food gets 10 out of 10 points. Both the pasta and the rump steak were perfect, really delicious. It exceeded my expectations. The prices are also completely reasonable. Lovely again!

Very tasty food, super attentive service. We came on a Wednesday during the week, three of us, without a reservation, the restaurant was full and we thought we had to leave. The next room was opened especially for us. Really good. Thank you very much and we will be back.

The food was very tasty. The Cevapcici are particularly recommended. We weren't quite as happy with the drinks. The wine is okay, but unfortunately the mojito wasn't tasty. Nevertheless, the super nice and friendly staff made up for it. The staff is very nice, friendly and also pretty. :) We would love to come back to you!

I was at this really nice bar today and had great service from Alex, but I missed the chocolate ice cream at this bar. I don't understand why a bar in Bayreuth sells alcohol but not vanilla ice cream. I would like to give 5 stars, but due to the lack of vanilla ice cream at the bar... Best regards

Highly recommend for quick bites and Cafe

Very tasty pasta! It's been a long time since I've eaten there and it still lives up to my expectations. We were served nicely, we were just sitting a little apart in the back room. But it didn't bother me much. The bruschetta pizza bread was larger than expected but very tasty. Special requests were taken into account (no cheese). The noodles were very tasty!!! The portion was very large and for the price - top value for money. We were very full and would love to come back.

Definitely don't believe the review, there were 4 of us there, ordered different menus, it was a nightmare and disgusting, especially the frozen pizzas.

Sehr lockere sympathische Atmosphäre. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service

Schönes und sauberes italienisches Lokal, perfekt für Tresengäste oder um gemütlich einen Kaffee zu trinken. Auch als Gruppe kann man hier gut essen gehen, sollte aber vorher reservieren, wenn man innen sitzen möchte. Die Lage ist top, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist im Ganzen okay, die Speisen waren sehr gut und werden stets frisch zubereitet (man kann sogar wenn man im Eck sitzt dabei zusehen). Es gibt Saisonale Speisen mit aktueller Wochenkarte und der Kaffee ist perfekt. Es gab keine Hafer- und Sojamilch, dafür wurde Mandelmilch angeboten. Top. Einen halben Stern würde ich abziehen aufgrund der Wartezeit und der Preise. Ansonsten gibt es nichts negatives, das Lokal ist sehr sauber, es gibt italienische Hintergrundmusik und es herrscht ein gewisser Flair der zum verweilen einlädt. Sonstiges: Geparkt werden kann an den umliegenden Parkplätzen (gebührenpflichtig) der Bayreuther Innenstadt, Kopfsteinpflaster an den umliegenden Wegen, es gibt vegetarische Gerichte, ob es vegane Speisen gibt kann ich leider nicht sagen, für Rollstuhlfahrer und Familien mit kleinen Kindern eher nicht soo geeignet, da ua das Lokal im Innenbereich schmal geschnitten ist. Als Mittagstisch oder für einen Abend zu zweit oder als Einzelperson ist es hier sehr angenehm und empfehlenswert.

Food was dissapointing. We had lasagne that where made without lasagne. It was made with maccaroni. And spaghetti bologniese. On this one i have no woord. It was 🤢. I think they puted only tomato souse that was made of just a little bith of tomato with some kind of water and they added some meat just for the smell. The woest spaghetti i ever tried. But to light this up, servis was good and they were kind.

Kleines schönes Lokal in der Bayreuther Innenstadt. Auch für Tresenfreunde bietet das Bistro die perfekten Sitzmöglichkeiten. Gute Speisekarte mit vielen leckeren Gerichten, auch der Service arbeitet einwandfrei. Ebenso eignen sich die Plätze im Außenbereich um eines der Köstlichkeiten zu genießen. Übrigens kann Louis auch sehr gut “Gans” machen.

Generous portions, good food, great service, upbeat music and welcoming atmosphere. I left in a better mood than I came with. I hope to visit again.

Das Lokal ist gemütlich eingerichtet und der Service ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen allerdings ist eher durchschnittlich, ohne irgendwie aufzufallen. Daher ist das Louis am besten für einen gemütlichen Abend an der Bar geeignet.

Unbedingt nach Highlights fragen und auch die Tageskarte beachten. Täglich wechselnde Mittagsgerichte runden das ganze ab. Auch geeignet wenn man einfach gemütlich einen Wein oder ein Bier trinken möchte.

Wir hatten gestern Abend unsere Weihnachtsfeier im Café Louis. Das Essen war phänomenal und der Service sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Alles in Allem ein richtig schöner Abend mit einem gemütlichen Ambiente!

An diesem Café ist nichts "italienisch" -- zumindest das Frühstück ist billigster Aufschnitt aus dem Supermarkt. Die Bedienung fragt, ob es geschmeckt hat und wird dann frech, wenn man sich ehrlich über die Qualität äußert. Wirklich nicht empfehlenswert. Es gibt wesentlich bessere Optionen in der bayreuther Innenstadt.

Schrecklich. Waren am 6.August 2021 im Aussenbereich zum Essen. Ich hatte die in der Karte angepriesen Cevapcici und meine Partnerin den Primavera-Salat. Die Cevapcici haben derart nach Fischfett geschmeckt, der dazu gereicht Schafskäse war alles andere als Schafskäse, die Zwiebeln...na ja, der Salat meiner Partnerin war alles andere als mit frischen Zutaten und das mitten im Sommer. Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend. Nie wieder
