Adria Ristorante Italiano in Bayreuth

I can recommend this pizzeria without hesitation. It's a bit more expensive than others, but I think it makes the best pizza in the area. One downside is the relatively small tables; when the food arrives, there's barely any room, which is a bit annoying, to be honest. Otherwise, the service is quick and friendly. Reservations are recommended, as it's usually full.

Wonderful!!!! We ate there two nights in a row!!!! The Vitello Tonnato was delicious, the pork carpaccio, the cheeses, everything delicious... The wine list was excellent... and the chocolate souffle was extraordinary... The service was very good!!!!

A most warm and friendly atmosphere, Adria offers a variety of delicious Italian food and and a great service. Actually, it’s the best part of visiting Bayreuth for me.

I've been a regular at the Adria for years. It's truly sad how some employees treat you. Annoyed, rude, arrogant, and condescending, you unfortunately no longer feel welcome as a guest. The quality of the food isn't always consistently good, and it's far too expensive 🫰! The way the employees treat each other is often borderline. Complaints aren't handled in a particularly friendly manner. It's a real shame ☹️!

This is a fine place with great suffering and FOOD. Da Vincenzo better Frangnitaliano and crew. That makes you feel right there. Heid widda na Express train blocked. Very cool oomd gweeen. Dange Adria❤❤🔥🔥

This was your typical neighbourhood Italian restaurant. Food wasn’t outstanding but portion sizes are big, and service was sufficiently given we spoke no German. The spaghetti were not great quality but were at least cooked al dente - even though my carbonara was, by all measures, not a carbonara. It was tiny chunks of speck and there was cream in it - so at least half the ingredients are wrong. But still, totally serviceable. 3/5.

Really delicious authentic Italian food made from scratch, some of the most delicious food all 4 of us have tasted in a long time, the wine was also absolutely perfect. 2 adults and 2 children, came away with 97 euros, really got value for money. Highly recommended…

It's gone downhill considerably; the prices are very high, and some of the pizzas were missing toppings. What's even worse, though, is that one pizza was ordered without pepperoni, and it did have some on it. You could see that they'd been rounded off...whether that makes it better is up to you to decide. When you look at those prices...it was more than disappointing overall!

Unfortunately disappointing – handling of customer requests unprofessional We ordered three pizzas, including a Pizza Mista, where no pepperoni was requested – due to an intolerance. Unfortunately, the pepperoni was apparently removed after cooking. The pizza still tasted strongly of pepperoni, parts of the toppings were missing, and there were even leftovers. This is absolutely unacceptable when it comes to an intolerance. The Pizza Salsiccia also caused problems: Online, it says "Salsiccia, spicy salami" – so two toppings. After asking by phone, I was told in a condescending tone that salsiccia supposedly means spicy salami. The way they spoke to me was disrespectful and rude – we've never experienced anything like it in all our years as regular customers. Very disappointing – especially when you have to endure this kind of treatment as a loyal customer.

Carpaccio, salmon, pizza diavola, and a bit of wine: a dream. A bit more expensive, but you know that in Bayreuth. The service's reaction to the wrong food is borderline. The kitchen does a lot right. I'll overlook that.

Great place! We were searching for a place to have a supper with two little children on Saturday at 7pm , every place was full with no option for table. The service in Adria was very helpful, they made an effort to make a place for us so we could have some rest and get a really good, Italian meal. I highly recommend this place not only because of the great menu, but also because of a really great service and very kind people!

This restaurant is very arrogant. It is not possible to find the prices on the Internet. Prices must be requested when ordering. When asked why, you only get the answer that this is common practice. I recommend staying away from such a restaurant. The quality of the dishes does not correspond to the appearance of the website. I couldn't get the promised Italian taste experience. The pizzas are baked in tins, something I've never seen before in Italy, and the pasta dishes were very bland. At best, the dressing for the salads went past the to-go box... in short, in my experience, this one is enough. There are better and friendlier restaurants in Bayreuth.

Very good cuisine, relaxed atmosphere, great service! We were passing through and received a very warm welcome. There are a lot of regular guests there, but the service was very friendly and attentive to us without being intrusive. We had Pizza Quattro Stagioni and Mista. Pizza big is also big, but with a lot of heart. Both pizzas were perfectly topped, the dough was a dream, I've rarely experienced it so crispy and the thing was hot 🔥 as hell. That's how it should be ❤️ Compliments to the baker. The meal was accompanied by a fresh draft beer, perfectly tapped. That's how I like it. And to round off what had been a perfect food coma up to that point, of course I had to order dessert. Actually, it didn't fit into me anymore. BUT, then came this semifreddo... It was a culinary revelation, and I'm extremely picky about desserts. But THAT! Rarely have I walked out of a store so excited after dinner. So if I can arrange it, I will definitely include this restaurant 600 km away in my route planning to enjoy it again. Thank you to everyone at this restaurant, it was a very tasty meal.

You can eat comfortably in the Pizza Express. The restaurant has an upscale atmosphere. The pizzas are above average. The service was always quick and friendly.

The best gluten-free pizza I have eaten within Germany - and I have now experienced almost everything. 90% of the menu is also gluten-free without compromise, but my companions' food was also fabulous. Super nice service, big recommendation!

I've been coming here ever since I am a child. Good memories and excellent Pizza Diavola. Paid parking is all around the restaurant.

Much too narrow and too crowded and when you are then asked to sit on a stool at the counter, you can see the guest's appreciation. In some cases there seemed to be enough seats available in the next room because when I left the bags there were empty. Noodle portion for around 14 euros was tiny. The main thing is that you can take the sales with you, which is what the guest is interested in. I really appreciated the Adria from before, but after this number I was a guest there for the last time.

Quality of the food has declined significantly. Antipasti platter was a joke. The lasagna consisted of a touch of bolognese and undercooked pasta. Waiter inattentive. You couldn't pay at the table, you had to go to a counter. No longer recommended!!!!!!!

Rather a mediocre location. We stopped there while passing through because of the good reviews. The greeting was still OK. When we ordered, the waiter wanted to “sell” us duck as chicken. The salad, which was intended for 2 people, was only enough for one person, and it was also very sober. The pizza was okay, apart from the fact that it didn't look like it came from a pizza oven - smoke never saw it. It was also very greasy and was reminiscent of the Pizza Speciale from a well-known frozen pizza. To make matters worse, extremely loud guests and drunk people. You were in each other's arms with the waiters, etc. The very good reviews really don't surprise me anymore. Unfortunately not recommended, but the ambience in the neighboring room promised more. Incidentally, the description of the inn is not true. Sport TV is advertised, but when asked whether a football game (Champions League) was being shown, people just looked in disbelief and said no.

Ordered four pizzas today. 1 gluten-free and three normal :) all pizzas were delicious and the staff were very friendly. We were informed that the salami contained traces of flour and the employee was very patient when we first had to clarify what kind of pizza we would use as an alternative! Price performance was absolutely great and the restaurant looked very cozy (we picked it up). Definitely recommended for all people with and without celiac disease :)

Everything was very very tasty. . The food came very quickly. The hospitality was super great and nice. Price performance good. . All tables are cleaned and disinfected immediately after use. Delicious food with friendly support 😎 always a good choice

We ordered pizza, pizza was ready pretty quickly and tasted okay. Except for a pizza with carpaccio. This was almost inedible because it was totally sour (lemon juice?) There was no lemon listed on the menu, so it couldn't have been turned off. It's a shame, especially at these prices.

Yesterday I ate a beef steak on Gorgonzola sauce with potatoes and vegetables. All I can say is it was excellent.

Does it feel comfortable to you being judged by your close and how much you can buy? I came to this place full from previous restaurant - wanted some beer but everything was already closed at Sunday but this place. After ordering a beer a waiter looked at me like rolling his eyes and immediately asked what does he mean, because it was super-rude. He said "no nothing, it’s a restaurant for you to know but all good". I was shocked!!!!!! Never in a million years I will come here again! It’s not a "local business" anymore, it’s reach people who will be angry at you for not paying them enough money.

Gluten free pizza, really tasty 👌 $3.50 surcharge for gluten free. Apparently they have gluten free pasta, but we didn't try it.

I've tried many gluten-free pizzas and often regretted them, but this one was really, really good. You will also receive a very warm welcome here and card payment is also possible, which is unfortunately still not standard in German restaurants. I will definitely eat here again on my next visit to Bayreuth.

I really enjoy coming here, the food is always delicious and the staff is friendly 😊. A reservation is mandatory! When the weather is nice and dry you can also eat outside. Parking is available free of charge directly opposite or nearby from 7 p.m.

Fine Italian cuisine that needs to fear no comparison. But if it is served by a rather unfriendly staff and you sit in a cold, drafty and cramped place, you won't be able to really enjoy it.

Super delicious pizza, the best in Bayreuth, often get pizza to pick up. Unfortunately, I just have the feeling that the prices get higher every time and are somehow arbitrary/always different? We paid an average of around €12-14 for a large pizza, but the last bill a week ago said €16.60, which I find a bit steep, especially for picking it up yourself :/

It could be a nice restaurant for small groups. Our findings in advance when making a reservation by telephone: We initially tried to reserve a table for 16 people. Given the local conditions, this would have been feasible. But this was denied because there was no possibility. Two tables were then reserved for 8 people each. Here, too, I was told on the first call that I should please call at another time and they simply hung up on me. The service on site was anything but good. We were literally ignored and then treated dismissively. We were a group of 8 adults and 8 children. The food was really very good, there was nothing to complain about here. Except that we all lost the desire for dessert. Unfortunately, when it came time to pay, the next shock came. We received an invoice for each table saying that separate payments would not be possible. An absurdity if you go out to eat as a group. So we would count the money and put it on the table. A little summary at the end. Our group will never enter this restaurant again in the future.

Das Lokal war gut besucht. Die Pizza war gut, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Die Kellner sind aufmerksam, aber ich hatte das Gefühl, dass sie auch ziemlich gestresst waren. Ich hatte einen Spargelsalat, welcher leider gar nicht gut war. Der Spargel war zerkocht, der Salat nicht gut angemacht und hatte keinen Geschmack. Für über 15 Euro war nicht einmal Brot dabei. Die mit bestellte Bruschetta hatte mit einer richtigen italienischen Bruschetta nichts zu tun. Das Brot war weder knusprig noch hatte es einen Hauch von Knoblauch. Das Brot war total durchweicht und nass. Die Tomaten hatten einen komischen Geschmack. Mir kam das alles sehr lieblos zubereitet vor und es hat mir überhaupt nicht geschmeckt, ich werde da nicht mehr hin gehen.

Was there for dinner... the ambience is suitable for an Italian restaurant. The waitresses were polite and nice. The food was at the table within 15 minutes of ordering...my spaghetti mare was very good and we were full. You'll be happy to come back there.

We've been getting our pizza here for years and we're always thrilled. It tastes exactly how we imagine a good pizza to be. The lasagna is also really great!!! Of course, all the service people are really friendly and you immediately feel welcome, even if you are “just” picking something up. For us the best pizzaria in Bayreuth!

We were on holiday here for 3 days and wanted to try a different restaurant every evening. We were here on the first day and loved it so much that we went back the following 2 evenings. We were impressed not only by the really varied offerings and the super tasty food, but also by the extremely friendly waitress. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back :)

The world's first pizzeria where a Pizza Margaritha is filled with mushrooms and salami. Definitely suboptimal if you don't want to eat meat and just want to grab a pizza as you pass by, where you (actually) can't go wrong. I've never experienced anything like that before...pizza is also just average

Had pizza and risotto in the Adria-Express. Very nice atmosphere and "all" of the service staff including the boss were so friendly. We felt comfortable there and the 🍕 Top 👍

The last time I take food from "restaurant" , just disgusting, the pictures from this post are not allowed to be posted, but I will try to explain...with my girlfriend we took pizza at home at it was absolutely not good to eat, hard from outside and not backed inside just like live medusa inside, taste disgusting, I throw it right away, it can break your tooths be careful with this place! P.S I wish I'd gave the money to some homeless or hungry...

The pizza was very tasty, very well topped. The Primitivo was equally delicious. However, I would have imagined something different from an Italian salad. The price for this small portion is really not right. I won't eat salad here again in the future. Price/performance ratio doesn't fit here.

Were received very friendly by our waiter Claudio. Since my darling has a gluten allergy, we chose this restaurant to dine here. The waiter was very competent and gave us great advice. All pizzas can be ordered in the gluten-free version. But then there is only the large version of the pizza. The normal salami contains gluten, which we were informed about. Very nice atmosphere, good wine and top service and food. Clear 5 stars. Thank you very much, we will be happy to come back on our next visit to Bayreuth....

It has been one of the best pizzas in Bayreuth for years. Unfortunately not exactly cheap, but tasty. The pasta and meat dishes are also recommended.

The older gentleman with glasses (boss?) who works there, whom we have met several times when picking up items, is extremely unfriendly and seems arrogant. If guests who seem to like them better after you enter the shop, you are left standing and ignored. If you don't know straight away which pizzas you have ordered, you will be annoyed and reply that you don't write down names when ordering. People in my family have also had negative experiences with this person, I would say, even though we try to be very friendly and considerate towards the other person. Unless that person's attitude towards customers changes, I will no longer order here.

It's been a pleasure every time so far. The portions and the service are sufficient and great. Even with children, everything is made possible and taken into consideration.

We love this restaurant! The offer is very extensive, there is a wide selection of the classic pizza and pasta. Whether vegetarian, meat or fish, everyone will find something here! A special feature are the gluten-free pizzas. The quality of the food is generally very high, everything is always freshly prepared and the service is phenomenally well organized. Even though the restaurant was full, we hardly had to wait for our order, maybe 10 minutes. We personally love the crispy pizza dough and are always happy to come back. The prices are completely reasonable. The pizzas and pasta cost quite normal, so you really have to say that the prices of the 'more expensive' dishes are absolutely justified due to the high quality, especially when it comes to meat and fish (steak, lobster)! As I said, everyone will find something here, from family pizza to gourmet gourmet :) The restaurant is on the street and there is a paid parking lot almost opposite. You can always find a parking space nearby. The ambience in the restaurant is very nicely designed, although the space is rather narrow and narrow. People with assistants should call ahead and get more information. The restaurant is actually ideal for a singles evening, a romantic evening for two, or for the whole family! Pizzas can be eaten on site, but can also be ordered and picked up. We are more than satisfied and have never experienced anything negative. All in all: 5/5 stars. Best service, best quality, good price-performance ratio. Gladly again at any time, highly recommended.
