We stayed in this hotel from February 2nd to February 7th, 2025. It is a very nice, centrally located hotel in the old town of Heidelberg. Our room was quiet and spacious. The breakfast can still be improved. If you arrive by train, you can reach the hotel in about 15 minutes. If you have the train station behind you, or rather look straight ahead at the Neckar, just go left to the Old Bridge. Immediately left again and left again.

Best kebab between Schriesheim and Handschuhsheim

Very good kebab plate. Super tasty and fresh.

We were there last summer. Unfortunately a typical tourist trap. The location is very good and the beer from the neighboring brewery is also excellent. The rest, however, is catastrophic. The bratwursts may come from the Palatinate, but they are not Palatinate bratwursts. More like fried white sausages. The sauce served with it is so poorly mixed that you can still feel the powder in your mouth. If you choose fries with the bratwurst, there is no cabbage with it. Even if it says otherwise on the menu. The fries are limp and unseasoned. The fried potatoes with the schnitzel were totally over-seasoned. At the beginning we sat for quite a long time without knowing whether we would be served or whether there would be self-service, as there was no service for at least 15 minutes. At noon at two with the terrace full. In total we threw away €60 for two adults and a three year old!

We were a large group for food and the whole team were super at preparing the orders in advance for us to make it a relaxed and delicious lunch for all! Thanks so much - will be very happy to visit again soon.

They have incredibly delicious soups!!! Everything is extremely fresh and there are at least 5 different types of soups cooked daily and they are really delicious, the portions are sufficient ♥️ anyone who wants to eat good and quality soups can go ✨✨ I did not forget to take photos every time I went ✨♥️

Mega tasty and very friendly service.

The ambience is very appealing in every respect. The service was very friendly, but not always very attentive. The cuisine is clearly ambitious, but doesn't really reach any culinary heights. But what could be changed with the bolder use of spices.

We really felt very comfortable. The city center is very easy to reach by public transport, even at night.

Old style restaurant with tradition and very nice space. The food was all top notch, the price was certainly expensive but it is highly recommended for anyone who is willing to spend a little for good food.

Very friendly host! The food is excellent value for money. The atmosphere comes from the people, not the decor! The salad dressing is perfect!

Every bite was a real taste experience: juicy meat, crunchy vegetables and perfectly coordinated sauces – simply on point! I was particularly impressed by how fresh and hot the burgers were delivered, which increased the enjoyment even further.

Super freundlicher Service, leckere frische köstliche Macarons… Super Kaffee …. Auch für Veganer geeignet …. Wir kommen wieder …..

The food is absolutely fantastic and a recommendation, great value for money! It's a bit noisy in the dining room, but it doesn't spoil the experience! We'd love to come back!
