Ich komme jedes Mal in dieses Café, wenn ich mal in Heidelberg bin. Die Macarons sind die besten, die ich je gegessen habe. Und ich habe mich sowohl in Deutschland als auch in anderen Ländern durchprobiert.

Ich bin mit meiner Freundin her gekommen. Wir haben Schokokuchen gegessen und dazu Caffe Latte getrunken. Beides war lecker und wir konnten oben sitzen. Es war sehr gemütlich.

This is not a review on the food, which I really like. We usually go to the Macaronnerie (Hauptstraße) at least 3 times per week to have breakfast. And almost every single time, depending on the staff, they give us a wrong bill not corresponding to the prices on the menu. They should instruct better their new staff members. It would be understandable, if it happened 2-3 times per year. But at least one per week is really too much.

Cozy atmosphere. There's a weekly menu with a few different dishes (meat, vegetarian, and salads). In addition, there are a few standard dishes available every day. Mr. Franke, who runs this restaurant, is a very nice and friendly person. He greets and advises each guest very kindly and competently. The food was really delicious, so much so that I contacted him after my meal to say so. The portions are generous. If you're looking for a good and affordable lunch, this is the place to go. We at Curagita will definitely be regulars from now on.

My lunch restaurant in Heidelberg What can I say? The cook is someone who also loves to eat, and you can see and taste it. The seating is very comfortable, and the service is fast and friendly. You can choose from two dishes (a regular lunch menu and a vegetarian lunch menu). There's also a salad buffet and a small menu. A good tip for a delicious lunch.

Next Saturday, we're celebrating a birthday at our favorite Italian restaurant. Whenever we have something special coming up or we're in the mood for some really good food, we go to Cesarino. Neatly set tables, friendly service, a lovely atmosphere—simply a wonderful escape. The quality and freshness of the ingredients, no ready-made sauces or pastes, the flavor of the dishes enhanced with herbs and subtle spices without over-seasoning—that's what wins us over. And the wine recommendations are always spot on. Cheap dining isn't the order of the day here. But we don't want that either. We prefer good value for money. And that's what we get at Cesarino.

Please note: According to Section 40, Paragraph 1a of the Food and Feed Code (LFGB), this regulation expressly requires authorities to inform the public ONLY if there is sufficient suspicion or evidence of a SIGNIFICANT violation of hygiene or consumer protection regulations! Now to the content of the publication: FACTS/REASON FOR THE COMPLAINT "Significant hygiene deficiencies were identified in all areas of the facility. Food storage, in particular, was objectionable. Various food items were found to have passed their best-before and use-by dates. Various food items were spoiled and no longer suitable for human consumption (veal loin, pork topside, chicken mini steaks, spaetzle)." NOTES ON REMEDY AND REMARKS "Various food items were discarded. Food and beverage distribution was reopened on May 22, 2025." I hope that those responsible have since thoroughly remedied the identified deficiencies and implemented sustainable quality assurance measures. One star, in the hope of significant improvement and reliable hygiene.
