Ich komme jedes Mal in dieses Café, wenn ich mal in Heidelberg bin. Die Macarons sind die besten, die ich je gegessen habe. Und ich habe mich sowohl in Deutschland als auch in anderen Ländern durchprobiert.

Ich bin mit meiner Freundin her gekommen. Wir haben Schokokuchen gegessen und dazu Caffe Latte getrunken. Beides war lecker und wir konnten oben sitzen. Es war sehr gemütlich.

This is not a review on the food, which I really like. We usually go to the Macaronnerie (Hauptstraße) at least 3 times per week to have breakfast. And almost every single time, depending on the staff, they give us a wrong bill not corresponding to the prices on the menu. They should instruct better their new staff members. It would be understandable, if it happened 2-3 times per year. But at least one per week is really too much.

Cozy facility. There is a weekly menu with a few different dishes (meat, vegetarian and salads). In addition, there are also a few standard dishes that are available every day. Mr. Franke, who runs this restaurant, is a super nice and kind person. He greets and advises every single guest very nicely and competently. The food tasted really good, so I reached out to him after the meal and emphasized it. The portions are sufficient. If you want to eat well and cheaply during your lunch break, this is the right place for you. We at Curagita will now be regular customers.

My lunch restaurant in Heidelberg What can I say, someone who also likes to cook cooks and you can taste it and see it. It's very comfortable to sit in and the service is quick and friendly. You can choose from two dishes (normal lunch and vegetarian lunch). There is also a salad buffet and a small menu. Good tip for a delicious lunch.

The kebab was super tasty. The staff was very nice and friendly. You immediately feel comfortable. The store also looks nice and clean. I'll definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Dear Hotel Management, I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding the treatment my companion and I received during our recent stay at Wohlfühl-Hotel Neu Heidelberg. Our experience was not only unsatisfactory but also alarming and completely unacceptable for any guest. Upon check-in, we found our room in a visibly neglected state excessively dusty, as if it had not been cleaned or used in a considerable amount of time. While such situations may occur, it is your responsibility to ensure that rooms are thoroughly cleaned and ready before being assigned, especially when the reservation is made well in advance. However, what followed was far more troubling. On the evening of April 17 of this year , we returned to the hotel shortly after 10:00 PM. The reception was unattended, and we did not have keys, as we were meant to change rooms that evening. We followed your protocol and called the emergency number provided. The manager arrived, but instead of resolving the issue with professionalism, he behaved in an aggressive and hostile manner. He shouted at us and, shockingly, ordered us to leave the hotel at 11:00 PM. His reaction was not only unprofessional, it placed us in an unsafe situation late at night in a foreign city. This level of conduct from hotel management is indefensible. No guest should ever be subjected to such treatment, regardless of the circumstances. Moreover, I cannot help but question whether our nationality may have influenced the manager’s behavior. As non-German guests, it is difficult to ignore the impression that we were treated with less respect, perhaps reflecting prejudices from the past, that regrettably, still persist in some corners of German society. This concern must be taken seriously. I am formally requesting a written apology from the hotel, as well as an explanation of the internal actions being taken to ensure this does not happen again. I would appreciate a response within 7 days of this email. Should I not receive a satisfactory reply, I will not hesitate to escalate this matter through the appropriate consumer and tourism authorities, as well as share this experience publicly across all major travel review platforms. We stayed in this hotel from February 2nd to February 7th, 2025. It is a very nice, centrally located hotel in the old town of Heidelberg. Our room was quiet and spacious. The breakfast can still be improved. If you arrive by train, you can reach the hotel in about 15 minutes. If you have the train station behind you, or rather look straight ahead at the Neckar, just go left to the Old Bridge. Immediately left again and left again.

The bar is recommended. Very friendly staff. I didn't stay there overnight. The roof terrace is great.

We ate at Enoteca Cesarino today. The food was fantastic and the owners were very friendly. We felt very comfortable. A great evening, highly recommended!
