Brauch keine große Worten einfach TOP.

Wir als Familie hier zu Gast. Wir haben uns für das sechs Gang Menü entschieden. Änderungswünsche waren kein Problem. Zusätzlich gab es einen Gruß aus der Küche und reichlich Brot. Die Portionen waren so bemessen, dass am Ende gut satt war. Die Speisen waren schmackhaft, aber im Hinblick auf den Preis des Menüs war es zu hochpreisig.

Ein wirklich schönes Restaurant. Allerdings mussten wir anderthalb Stunden auf unsere Suppe warten. Die Garnelen im Risotto waren roh, das Risotto selbst verkocht und lauwarm. Bei der Ankunft wird man kaum begrüßt – man hat das Gefühl, man müsse anstehen (selbst mit Reservierung). Die Speisekarte klingt verlockend, die Preise sind aber hoch – absolut nicht gerechtfertigt.

Trotz Außentemperaturen von über 38 °C funktionierte die zugesicherte Klimaanlage nicht.

Leider überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen. Obwohl uns einen Tag vorher zugesichert wurde, dass die Klimaanlage funktioniert, war sie am Tag der Hochzeitsfeier meiner Tochter defekt. Bei 38 Grad mussten die Gäste und wir die Hitze ertragen. Eine Lösung oder eine ernsthafte Bemühungen, die Situation zu verbessern, gab es nicht. Auch die Dekoration war für eine Hochzeit unpassend: Keine weißen Tischdecken, keine festliche Atmosphäre. Sehr enttäuschend für eine Hochzeitsfeier. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Wer in Heidelberg wirklich lecker Essen möchte, ist im Oskar komplett aufgehoben. Wirklich tolle Köstlichkeiten landeten auf meinem Teller. Der Gaumengenuß ist garantiert! Danke für den tollen Abend bei Euch.

Ich war hier auf einer Hochzeit eingeladen. Es gab sehr kurzfristige Änderungen bei der Planung seitens des Restaurants, was zunächst für Unsicherheit gesorgt hat. Im Nachhinein hat sich die Feier dort aber definitiv gelohnt. Die Lage mitten in den Heidelberger Gassen ist wunderschön und schafft ein besonderes Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr lecker und geschmacksintensiv. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich außerdem den Service: Die Kellner waren ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, sodass man sich rundum wohlgefühlt hat. Insgesamt eine tolle Location für Feiern mit hervorragendem Essen und einem großartigen Team 😊

Ich hatte heute Abend ein sehr schönes Essen im Oscar's, schade nur, dass die Rechnung nicht so aussah wie erwartet. Ich hatte das Fischmenü für 71 € bestellt. Zuhause angekommen, sah ich mir die Rechnung an und stellte fest, dass die drei Gänge einzeln berechnet wurden, was zu einer Gesamtrechnung von 76 € führte. Schade! 😮😩

Wir haben mit der Familie und Trauzeugen nach unserer standesamtlichen Trauung zu Abend gegessen und jeder Einzelne hat gesagt, wie extrem lecker es war (Sternequalität) und was für eine tolle Atmosphäre. Sogar Menükarten hat das Team für uns gedruckt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dahingehen. Das Team war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Danke für die tolle Zeit 😊

Es ist schade, dass das Servicepersonal den köstlichen Gerichten nicht mehr Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit entgegenbringt. Der Koch hätte es verdient! Die Musikauswahl war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber gerade in einer Weinhandlung erwartet man eine kleine Anekdote zum Wein (wir hatten die Weinbegleitung bestellt, bekamen aber nur ein Glas, was übrigens nett war). Aber wenn Sie gutes Essen zu schätzen wissen, sollten Sie unbedingt hingehen!

Ich war am 14.02. zum Valentinstag mit meiner Freundin hier essen und war sehr zufrieden. Vor allem die Portionsgrößen waren für eine Fine Dining Experience sehr ordentlich - hier wird man auf jeden Fall satt. Nicht jede Zutat hat meinen Geschmack getroffen, was aber vollkommen in Ordnung ist, man muss ja auch mal was Neues ausprobieren. Meiner Meinung nach stehen 2-3 Tische zu viel im Restaurant (überfüllte Garderobe, relativ laut und eng) aber vielleicht war das auch dem besonderen Anlass geschuldet. Wir werden hier aber auf jeden Fall nochmal hingehen!

Wieder ein herrliches Essen in diesem wundervollen Restaurant. Großartiges Essen und Wein, perfekt für den kleinen Genussmoment im Urlaub 😍 Ich liebe es, dass man sich Zeit nehmen kann und zwischen den Gängen genügend Zeit zum Entspannen hat, um sich auf die nächste kulinarische Überraschung zu freuen 😀 Die Käseauswahl kann ich wärmstens empfehlen 😍

Loud, cramped, and the atmosphere was uninviting and uncomfortable, like a train station. The steak was rare, despite being ordered medium. The white cabbage was tasteless and overcooked. The white wine was warm, but supposedly it came from the refrigerator. Finally, I was politely asked to leave because they needed the table; I was sitting alone, as my companion had canceled. I was told I should finish my wine at the bar. This is simply outrageous and especially incomprehensible, as there were other tables available. Overall: not unfriendly, but very unprofessional. The owners are overwhelmed; you can't run a restaurant like that.

This was our second visit to Oskar's, and this time we sat inside. We really liked the ambiance – simple yet cozy. The selection of dishes was excellent, with meat, fish, and vegetarian options to suit everyone. We chose the daily fish special and the roast goose leg with braised cabbage from the regular menu, and once again, we were delighted with every dish. The price is justified by this quality. Our only complaint was the neighboring table, where someone was talking very loudly on their phone for over 15 minutes. This shouldn't be allowed in a restaurant like this. We will certainly return when we have the chance.

Last night, the three of us spontaneously decided to visit Oskar. After a short wait, we were lucky enough to snag a table in the very cozy and quite busy restaurant. After looking at the menu, we opted for the vegetarian, fish, and meat dishes. All the dishes tasted and looked fantastic. The portions were generous but not overwhelming, and every dish was freshly and expertly prepared. The service was professional and friendly – ​​we felt very welcome and comfortable. This certainly won't be our last visit! Many thanks to the entire team! :)

A perfect evening all around! A visit to Restaurant Oskar in Heidelberg is a true highlight for anyone who values excellent service, fine cuisine, and a stylish ambiance – and that's exactly what we experienced on our visit yesterday. As soon as we entered, we received a warm and attentive welcome. The service was consistently friendly, professional, and pleasantly unobtrusive – simply harmonious from start to finish. We would particularly like to highlight the excellent wine recommendation: each accompaniment was perfectly matched and ideally complemented the taste experience. The meal itself was a delight of the highest caliber – not only delicious in taste, but also a true feast for the eyes. The quality of the ingredients, the creativity in the preparation, and the beautiful presentation on the plate leave nothing to be desired. What we particularly like: Oskar is not a tourist spot, but a restaurant with a high level of quality and character, where guests can sense that the work is done with passion and attention to detail. A place for connoisseurs! Conclusion: A worthwhile visit that we can recommend without reservation. We will definitely come back!

A very nice dinner with creative, delicious dishes and good, but not expensive, wine from a concise menu. Highly recommended.

Considering the price, the quality of the food is mediocre. The so-called roast beef (€34) was a slice of beef, pan-fried and tough, the lamb shank (€33) was tender but not worth the money, the tomato-stuffed gnocchi was innovative but too salty, the sesame-coated tuna steak was so-so (€38), and so on. In short, I've had such mediocre food for less money. The service acted as if we were the first guests she'd ever served. Clumsy, inattentive, slow – perhaps acceptable in a student bar. The bar was obviously out of control – or why did it take half an hour for the wine to travel the five meters from the bar to our table and only arrive after the appetizer? The Bassermann Jordan wine was excellent, though. Unfortunately, it was unbearably hot under the glass roof. Why wasn't the air conditioning, which was certainly there, turned on? In any case, the two ventilation hatches in the roof didn't help. Perhaps they should abandon the restaurant and focus on a wine bar with small plates.

By chance, after a stroll through the city and searching for a restaurant that offered more than just the standard menu, we stumbled upon Oskar Restaurant and Wine Bar. We had a fantastic evening with delicious wine, top-notch food, and super friendly service. The dishes on the menu are not only exceptional, but also deliciously presented. A wonderful restaurant. The dishes were all beautifully prepared, perfectly seasoned (sometimes perhaps a touch too much salt; it's a matter of taste), and lovingly decorated. The wine pairing was also excellently chosen—many enjoyable German wines. We made our reservation online, which was very convenient. During our stay, we were repeatedly asked if everything was okay. 0.5 stars deducted because we were asked by a total of four employees. Sometimes less is more. The restaurant is definitely highly recommended. The quality hasn't changed since our last visit two years ago. Excellent!

A truly fantastic restaurant. The ambiance is stylish, yet not overly chic, and it's open to everyone! We went on Saturday and ate a la carte and from the set menu. Every table was reserved, and the staff was slightly understaffed, yet they were very attentive and extremely friendly, no matter how hectic they were. The food was very finely seasoned, and both of our meat dishes were cooked to perfection. The portions, especially from the set menu, surprised us; they were very generous, even compared to other restaurants in the same price range. Highly recommended!

There were six of us and we had a lovely evening. It wasn't perfect, hence only 3 stars. That day, a wedding party kept the waiters quite busy, but they tried not to overlook us completely. It's a shame the wine bar didn't have any non-alcoholic wine. Only two wine lists for the entire restaurant could be changed. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The vegetarian dish should be reviewed for value. We'll be back to try it again.

I had the pleasure of being invited to dinner at Oskar last night. Initially it was an evening with obstacles, but the restaurant team handled them masterfully. We had to wait an hour for our table to be free. The background to this will probably go down in the anals of restaurant history and would go too far here. Only so much that the restaurant was overcrowded by 18 seats. Nobody noticed anything, not even the service team! We were treated to champagne and small appetizers and several greetings from the kitchen, all of which were wonderful! The food and wine that followed later were also great. An enjoyable evening and a stress-resistant team. Highly recommended

Das Oskar hat uns mit seinem wunderbaren Ambiente restlos begeistert. Wir saßen im romantischen Wintergarten, der eine wunderschöne Atmosphäre für einen besonderen Abend schafft. Wir entschieden uns für ein 4-Gänge-Menü, das von Anfang bis Ende ein wahrer Genuss war: Vorspeise: Die gebratene Garnele auf Safran-Muschel-Risotto war einfach himmlisch – so köstlich, dass ich mich am liebsten hineinknien würde. Hauptgang: Die Kalbssteak mit einer Walnußkruste ware butterzart und saftig, dazu gab es ein Petersilienwurzelpüree mit glacierten Karotten – ein perfekt abgestimmtes Geschmackserlebnis. Dessert: Den krönenden Abschluss bildete das Schokoladenmousse und Vanilleparfait mit marinierten Pflaumen, ein Dessert, das nicht nur optisch, sondern auch geschmacklich überzeugt hat. Wir sind häufig in der Gastronomieszene in und um Heidelberg unterwegs, doch das Oskar hat uns so beeindruckt, dass es ab sofort ganz oben auf unserer Liste steht. Großes Kompliment an Küche und Service – wir kommen garantiert wieder!

We dined at Oskar a few days ago and while the winter menu was excellent, what impressed us most was the service. When we come to Heidelberg again, the Oskar is a safe place to go for us!

Upscale and yet not pretentious. Good service

We celebrated our two year anniversary here and enjoyed dinner. The starters were really tasty, but unfortunately we didn't like either main course. The pork was a bit too intense in flavor, and we weren't impressed with the beef either. However, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which we liked. Unfortunately, there was no suitable place to store our things and jackets neatly, which was a bit inconvenient.

We've been going to Oskar rarely but regularly for years. In the end we were disappointed: the ambience was always simple, but seemed fine. Now it's no longer covered in white. The wardrobe was no longer removed. All the guests in the back had coats and jackets lying on the bench or hanging over the chair. The service was friendly, but seemed chaotic and unsafe. We were asked directly if we would like an aperitif when we handed out the card and when we asked what you had there or whether you could recommend something to us, we were referred to the card... The food itself was actually like it used to be. However, the salmon steak was raw inside... Which is what I said when I was clearing it away when asked if everything was good - and the piece that was left there clearly showed it. No reaction. No excuse. It wasn't interesting at all. The fact that there was a bottle of red wine on the bill at the end, which we never had, fit with the rest of the evening. Overall, the otherwise very good food came very quickly. Apparently a second round at the table should be made possible… Overall, it's no longer an atmosphere where you can be pampered and enjoy yourself for an evening! Too bad. The old team around the former restaurant manager had this better under control.

The place to go when you are looking for excellent food! The quality is really good and everything is absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the price. My favorite was the gazpacho with peppers. They change the menu from time to time so you can discover some new creations. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. It is a very special place.

I went to Oscars Restaurant with two friends. We liked it very much. A small, manageable, Very nicely decorated restaurant with a nice range of food and drinks. The food was very tasty, the service was friendly and the price-performance ratio was absolutely okay

Fantástica noche, la comida era excelente maridado con vino encantador y servicio relajado pero atento. Nos sentamos afuera y disfrutamos cada minuto. Recomiendo encarecidamente una visita.

Det er fjerde gang vi er der . De første 3 gange var rigtig godt med mad og vin. Vi bestilte 3 retter. Vi bad om regningen efter 2 retter, da vi nu havde siddet og ventet 1 time og 15 minitter og ventet på desserten. Tjeneren undskylde og tog imod kontanterne jeg gav ham. Der var 5 euro for meget. Jeg sagde ikke noget om at ham kunne beholde resten, men han kom ikke igen med restbeløbet på 5 euro. Vi bad om den eneste Spätburgunder de har på kortet. Han kom tilbage og sagde at den havde de så ikke flere af. Han kom ud med en anden Spätburgunder, som ikke stod på kortet. Den kunne vi få til samme pris. Jeg prøvesmagte den . Den var decideret varm at drikke. Over 30 grader. Så jeg kunne slet ikke vurdere smagen. Men jeg kunne smage at der ikke var prop i. Jeg bad om en iskøler som man bruger til hvidvin. Den skulle stå 30-45 minutter før den var drikkelig. At det så var en af de ringeste Spätburgunder jeg har fået på en restaurant, er noget andet. Men det var jo heller ikke en de havde på menuen. Hvorfor er rødvin ikke på køl på et dyrt spisested ? Jeg synes efterhånden heller ikke kvalitet og pris hænger sammen længere.

Tuvimos una excelente cena aquí. Uno de nosotros recibió el menú de precio fijo y el resto pidió a la carta. Todo fue excelente. Los favoritos eran el alquitrán de atún y el fuste de cordero. La próxima vez creo que comeremos dentro, sin embargo, fue un poco extraño comer con gente caminando a nuestro alrededor en ambos lados.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a vegetarian three-course menu with wine accompaniment in the Oskar restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy. The service was attentive and friendly. Each dish was carefully prepared and offered an extraordinary variety of flavors, and the wines were perfectly matched. The Oskar restaurant offers a great vegetarian menu with excellent wine pairings and is definitely worth a visit. The vegetarian menu costs €48 (without wine) and the portions are large, value for money is reasonable.

Super leuk restaurantje. Inrichting ruim en licht, trendy. Wij zaten in de serre. Menu leuk, keuze genoeg. Bij elke gang wordt een wijn aangeraden. Attente bediening. Erg lekker gegeten. Een aanrader!

Das Essen war gut jedoch nichts spezielles für das doch hohe Preisniveau.. der Service war zwar freundliche jedoch sehr unaufmerksam. Teller wurden 30 Minuten nach dem Essen nicht abgeräumt und es wurde auch nicht nach Kaffee oder Dessert gefragt. Bin dann rein gegangen um die Rechnung zu begleichen (es waren etwa 5 Tische besetzt)

The food was excellent ranging from "Grilled Prawn on Risotto with Mushrooms, green Asparagus, Lemonsauce and Parmesan Froth" to "Gnocchi with Wild Garlic Filling, wild Broccoli, sautéed Mushrooms" paired with exceptional wine in a beautiful atmosphere. But the service left much to be desired--several reminders were needed to finally get the desert which was part of the 3-course dinner. Not one but two reminders where needed to get another bottle of water. This was only beaten by the three requests it took to finally get the check. Sad to see such excellent cuisine being spoiled by such poor performance of the waiting staff.

As always friendly service, but points of criticism: 2 of the wine glasses smelled strongly of tobacco smoke; This has already been complained about by a user. The sauce (declared as port wine jus) of the venison medallion was highly concentrated, almost black, salty and bitter, which we objected to. The lady from the service pointed out to us that the chef imagined it this way and no other way, but wanted to pass our criticism on to him. The salmon tartare was well seasoned with fresh herbs and visually appealing, but the pieces of salmon had too much fat and had no taste of their own, as there was no marinade and the dollop of lime creme fraiche hardly contributed to the taste experience. But the desserts were nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, we don't feel like visiting the house again at the moment

Wie immer freundlicher Service, aber Kritikpunkte: 2 der Weingläser rochen stark nach Tabakrauch; dies wurde schon einmal von einem User beanstandet. Die Sauce des Hirschmedaillons war stark konzentriert, fast schwarz, salzig und bitter, was wir beanstandet haben. Die Dame vom Service wies uns darauf hin, dass der Koch dies als sein Markenzeichen ansehe, unsere Kritik aber an ihn weitergeben wolle. Das Lachstartar war gut gewürzt, die Lachsstücke aber mit zuviel Fett durchsetzt, ohne eigenen Geschmack, da auf eine Marinade verzichtet wurde und der Klecks Limettencremulade kaum zum Geschmackserlebnis beitrug. Die Desserts waren aber nicht zu beanstanden. Ein erneuter Besuch des Hauses drängt sich für uns leider nicht auf

You are great, the place is good

Nice restaurant that presents itself as one with fine dining. The dishes are prepared accordingly and look great. In terms of taste, however, it's not quite upscale cuisine. Almost all dishes are missing something or taste bad. Individual components of the dishes often do not harmonize. Extremely acidic dressing in a salad without any other aromatic components, boring or bland red cabbage, quite fish-heavy salmon tartare, etc. are just a few examples. All in all, no dish convinced me. The service was good and attentive, the ambience is also quite nice, spacious and clean, but a bit bare for my taste.

Das Essen am Samstag war gut & auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Leider wurde die Bedienung von jmd. aus der Küche lautstark angeschrien, sodass es alle im Restaurant hören konnten. Das geht gar nicht! Lassen Sie Ihre Cholerik bitte Zuhause & behandeln Sie Ihr Personal, bzw. Ihre Kolleginnen & Kollegen mit Respekt.

Man sitzt eigentlich recht ruhig und schön draußen! Zum Essen: man sollte schon ausgefallene Küche mögen. Dass ich vegan gegessen habe dort, obwohl ich kein Veganer bin, hab ich sehr selten erlebt und sagt schon etwas über die Auswahl aus. Leider wurde ich von dem veganen Etwas nicht satt. Es hat eigentlich auch nicht schlecht geschmeckt. 20 Euro für eine Kinderportion muss man sich leisten können. Der Service war leider auch nicht gut. Der stoffelige Kellner brachte eine Flasche Wasser für alle…und schleppte 2 Minuten später alle Wassergläser bis auf eins vom Tisch weg! Besteck liegt beim Ankommen auf dem Tisch und wird dann weggeräumt! Warum? Was ich gar nicht leiden kann: Möchtegern-Gourmet-Restaurant mit hohen Preisen, aber mit durchschnittlicher Küche und Service. Zu guter Letzt hat man sich bei der Rechnung dilettantisch vertan, oje😏

Immer ein Besuch wert! Toller Laden mit super freundlichem Service und kulinarischen Schmankerln. Die Weinkarte sticht besonders hervor.

Top Weine, top essen (ja auch vegan), top Service und alles inhabergeführt (ist hier auch der Chefkoch). Hatten gestern ein sehr schickes und schmackhaftes drei Gang Menü - eines mit Schwertfisch, eines mit Sauerbraten und ein Veganes. Alle waren super zufrieden und positiv von der Qualität und dem Geschmack überzeugt. Das Erlebnis waren aber die servicekräfte, die unaufdringlich und freundlich waren, aber immer einen frechen Spruch auf den Lippen zur passenden Zeit hatten. Immer wieder gern TOP! Macht weiter so.

Erstklassiges Essen und 1a Bedienung.

Ich war dort über ein Geschäftsessen. Da ich vegan lebe, habe ich eh keine großen Erwartungen gehabt. Wie es einem oft geht als Veganer in "normalen" Restaurants. Mein veganes Essen war angemeldet. Nur wussten bei der Ankunft keine Bedienung und der Koch etwas davon. Ich bekam mein Essen dann Ad Hoc gezaubert. Sehr lecker, mit Liebe gemacht. Der Wein war vorzüglich. Die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und nett. Jederzeit gerne wieder... volle Punktezahl von mir.
