A great insider tip! The Dolle Frieder restaurant in the Black Forest is a true gem! The location and ambience of the restaurant are unique - surrounded by breathtaking nature, there is a fantastic view that you can enjoy every time you visit. The atmosphere in the restaurant is extremely cozy and homely, which makes your stay particularly pleasant. The food is absolutely delicious – freshly prepared and tastes excellent. There's nothing wrong with the price-performance ratio, you really get something for your money here. A very special highlight is the owner of the Strausenwirtschaft, who always treats his guests with a lot of charm, sympathy and courtesy. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. I like to come here regularly and again and again - for the great cuisine, the wonderful location and the warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Super delicious HOMEMADE Italian food, something for everyone. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free, there is everything your heart desires. (Pizza, pasta, etc.) Great if you have gluten intolerant people in the family. Perfect service and fair prices. All around great, highly recommended :)

Very tasty and a good price/performance ratio

I came around 5 p.m., went in to the shop, said hello, and got shouted at by the seller. For no reason, he shouted “close! Something broken! Close!” And all that in broken german language. So he would not sell me anything, then i went out and waited for 10 minutes outside the shop for my bus. Then several people went into the shop and they ordered!! Is this racism or what? I don’t know and i can’t explain anymore what i just experienced. Just don’t go to this shop. Really bad experience! Edit: I got a response from the shop owner, but since there is no option to reply directly, I am writing here instead. To clarify: I did not confuse this shop with the one located a few meters away. The interior and menu I saw during my visit clearly match this shop, including the two types of meat offered. The other shop does not even serve chicken döner. It is also worth noting that the owner’s response refers to the neighboring business as being "known for causing this kind of problem," which I find concerning and unprofessional. Speaking negatively about other businesses raises further red flags and does not reflect well on their own customer service. I regret having to leave a negative review, but I stand by my experience. Whether others choose to believe it or not is entirely up to them. I am simply sharing what happened to me in good faith. If you are considering visiting this shop, you are of course free to do so. Based on what I experienced, I would personally advise caution.

If you want to relax on Langeoog, this is the right place, top location, super attentive service and the rooms are tastefully decorated. We will definitely come back.

Very tasty and quickly prepared, very nice service

You go to a restaurant, order and pay – no matter what it costs. But at least the food is actually edible. Unfortunately that wasn't the case here. Dry, completely different than described, and the smell wasn't inviting either. As an Arab, I know what good food should taste and smell like and this was far from that. Particularly disappointing when you consider that things were much better under Habiba before. I will definitely not order here again.

We were there by bus with the football team. (30 people) Since we had to leave quickly after the game, we pre-ordered the dishes for a specific time. All pizzas were ready at the time ordered and brought to you hot. The pizza tasted really good. Crispy on the bottom and the dough is nice and fluffy on the edge with enough topping. Delicious. Everyone was really excited and we were able to set off on time. The pizzas (diameter approx. 30cm) were priced between €9.50 and €14, depending on the toppings. (see online menu) Highly recommended!

A very nice hotel with nice people and very good cuisine!

Good restaurant with delicious food, including both vegan/vegetarian and meat dishes, always flavorful and never boring. Very friendly service. Unfortunately, depending on the weather, it can be a bit cold in some places. This is a well-known problem and probably difficult to change. Hence, one star deducted. Otherwise, an absolute recommendation! 👍
