The food is ok, but rather average.

Pleasant stay, small menu but sufficient… Unfortunately, my schnitzel was convenience food :-(

On our tour through the urban region in search of our new favorite Italian restaurant, we had our first visit to Pavone last Sunday. Our first impression of the restaurant's ambiance was positive; we really liked the style. The two young ladies serving were very attentive and friendly; we give the service 5 stars. Upon first glance at the menu, it quickly became clear that we weren't dining at a traditional Italian restaurant, but rather that they were pursuing a different concept (with tarte flambée and burgers). We still stuck to the Italian dishes for our starters and main courses. The starters (marinated feta cheese from the oven and vitello tonnato) were good, but the vitello was unfortunately completely cooked through and therefore a bit dry. Unfortunately, the tuna cream, which could have compensated for this, was very limited. But overall, everything up to this point was good; we were satisfied and looked forward to the main course. Unfortunately, it couldn't live up to its previous standards; the salmon was overcooked and sat on oily, mushy fried potatoes. I would reconsider the presentation here and perhaps serve the fried potatoes separately. Unfortunately, my veal loin wasn't trimmed thoroughly and was overcooked for my taste, so it ultimately spoiled the experience. In the end, it didn't really convince us.

A bit hidden away, but really nice and with a fantastic interior. We had a reservation, but I don't think it's necessary depending on the day and time. The waiters were very attentive and genuinely friendly, but not intrusive. The food was truly delicious, both the salad and the main course. There was also a nice wine list. We were generally satisfied with everything, but it ended up being a bit pricey for everything we ordered 🤣

The service was quick and careful. Their Bruscetta was awesome and the Gebrates Lachsfilet I was tasty. I definitely recommend these dishes as entry and main course

An absolute insider tip in Alsdorf, surrounded by the beautiful recreational area, it's definitely worth a visit. We were there for our wedding anniversary, but you can also enjoy a drink on the sun terrace :)

Nice atmosphere, but disappointing food The restaurant is really nicely decorated and has a cozy atmosphere. The outdoor area is especially great – it's a fantastic place to sit and enjoy a pleasant start to your visit. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to this positive impression. The dishes I ordered were barely edible – extremely fatty, and the meat was unfortunately very tough. It's a real shame, because the ambiance deserved a much better culinary experience.

Everything was to our satisfaction.

The Pavone restaurant is somewhat hidden, with only a small sign indicating its presence. However, neither the food nor the service are anything to go by. Four of us went there, and everyone had a different dish. We were all more than satisfied! The service is excellent. The staff member came by every now and then to ask if we were satisfied. That was genuine interest, not just a platitude. We will definitely come back next time we're in Alsdorf!

A very nice restaurant near the zoo with very cozy decor and delicious food. Great, friendly service with a lovely ambiance, and the name Pavone is fitting, as the peacocks regularly visit the restaurant. We feel absolutely at home in this beautiful restaurant and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The restaurant's decor has its own charm, and the service is also excellent. The food selection is excellent! We had various appetizers, an Asian rice dish, and a burger with sweet potato fries! (The best sweet potato fries we've ever had!) We definitely recommend a visit to Restaurant Pavone!

We had dinner here on Sunday. We have also visited the restaurant several times. However, I have to say that the quality of the food and, above all, the portion size have decreased significantly. The price-performance ratio no longer fits. The pizza we ordered was burnt. I had a cheeseburger. The meat gave me the feeling that it came from a prepackaged package. We were very disappointed. Because we generally enjoyed eating here. However, we won't be coming here again.

Very friendly staff, nice restaurant, but unfortunately a little noisy. But it has to be fair to say that we were here for Mother's Day and therefore everything was well filled. But we'll be back!

We were at Pavone during a company outing and all our colleagues were absolutely thrilled! Despite the number of guests, the service seemed confident and was always friendly and courteous. The drinks and dishes were served quickly. The menu offers an extensive selection without seeming overcrowded. When we visited, the entire restaurant seemed clean. There are many spaces available both indoors and outdoors.

I can highly recommend this restaurant! Great well-kept ambience, clear and fine selection of dishes, appropriate and affordable price-performance ratio, very friendly service and very tasty! We had lunch a la carte with 30 people. Everyone was very satisfied 😃 What more could you want? 🌞 Keep it up! 💪

An insider tip is this small restaurant in Alsdorf behind the zoo. Once you have found the slightly hidden entrance, you come into a cozy interior with various seating options. The menu isn't too big, which I find to be a big advantage, as all the dishes are really tasty and perfect from the kitchen. I was here for a business lunch with 9 people. Everyone was very happy and had a main course and dessert. I especially recommend the apple crumble :-)

We celebrated our civil wedding at Pavone with 25 people and would like to thank the Pavone team for the successful meal! Our guests really liked the service and the alla carte food. What deserves particular praise is the friendly and attentive service, but also the fact that we all received our food at the same time. Tip: it's best to park at the zoo.

Everyone enjoyed the food, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The ambience is good and clean, a bit rustic in the back area. Six of us were seated at a table (back room, right, first table) that is suitable for 4 people, as there is a shelf on the wall side that severely limits the space.

Whether in the warm indoor atmosphere in winter or on the beautiful terrace in summer, it was always worth stopping at Pavone. We often ate at Pavone with family and friends, tried many different types of salad, burgers and pasta as well as steaks and were always very satisfied. A good price/performance ratio with decent portions! If you want to celebrate special events in larger groups, the entire team ensures that everything runs smoothly and the planning and coordination with the owner was always smooth. Pavone is also suitable for families with children. The quiet terrace is far away from city traffic, the children can play outside and even watch the free-roaming peacocks. The cleanliness and hygiene of the store is top notch. All employees were always friendly and extremely accommodating. We can wholeheartedly recommend Pavone to everyone.

The small restaurant is located in the middle of a residential area. The parking situation is a bit challenging as there are only a few parking spaces available and they are also quite narrow. When you enter, a homely atmosphere arises - the furnishings are modern, stylish and cozy. However, I noticed that dust and cobwebs had collected in some places. In addition, some walls could use a refresh as they already show visible signs of wear. The staff was friendly and attentive. The menu is clear, but offers a sufficient selection. The dishes were served quickly. My husband's meal was ok, solid in taste. Unfortunately, my pizza didn't live up to my expectations. In my opinion, the ground was unusually thick and overall very dry. To me it seemed like the pizza was made in a pan or resembled a frozen pizza. Neither the consistency nor the taste of the dough or the topping appealed to me. I really struggled to finish the pizza because it was so dry. Instead of a juicy consistency from the toppings, I had the feeling of eating bread with some toppings. I also found the pizza relatively small for the price. What bothered me personally was that a person who I thought was the boss - because he acted very assertively and gave instructions to the staff - did not greet us when we arrived or left the restaurant, even though he was near us several times. I find it appreciative when guests are perceived in this way. The clean and well-maintained toilets are positive.

It was our first time at Pavone and I have to say my rump steak (English) was grilled to perfection. The meat was very tender and juicy. The salad was fresh and crunchy. The whole thing was served by the young waitress with the tattoos. She was very friendly, so you're happy to give a little more tip. Another highlight was the peacock that ran around in the outer area. We were very satisfied.

I wanted to eat there with my fiancée that evening. We were looking for a restaurant where we could eat with our family after the registry office. Unfortunately there are only 5 parking spaces. These were all full. Parking is prohibited everywhere in the immediate area and the parking space listed on Google is only for residents. I don't understand how you can run a restaurant with only 5 parking spaces. Unfortunately we had to go to another restaurant where there was enough parking space.

Nicely located restaurant, but there are very few parking spaces, schnitzel is molded meat, sauce is ok. But I've eaten better. Toppings salad good but 90% leaf lettuce. Therefore only 3 stars! Service was top and the ambience is also very nice. You can still do something about the food, but the problem is and remains the parking spaces. You have to park in the area if you're unlucky.

Actually very happy with the restaurant. Every meal so far has been high quality and tasty. I especially prefer the carbonara. I don't know if it's typically Italian, but you can't get any better in the area. One point is deducted for service, and that doesn't mean the service staff! They are class. Spaghetti and Bolognese sauce for children are offered on the menu. I asked about the combination, but was immediately told no, Spaghetti Bolognese ToGo was a no-go. On the one hand, I can understand it because you can see which class is being targeted. In my opinion, the ambience is definitely missing. There is nothing to complain about but also very little to experience. Once you find the restaurant and especially its entrance, it is really tasty and a few steps away from the zoo. I'll definitely come back because the food just suits my taste.

Very nice staff, as far as the food is concerned there are daily specials on the general menu. There is always something for everyone and the best thing is that many localities/restaurants have the option of eating your food inside as well as outside. You can even hold a company party there upon request. I wish you a nice day for your physical well-being. And depending on what time of day you visit the restaurant, you can visit the Alsdorf Zoo before or even after.

We were here for the first time today but definitely not the last. From the outside it looks like a residential building, but it is a great restaurant with a beautiful ambience. The staff welcomed us very friendly. It was clean and quiet. The food was very good and beautifully prepared. Here I would like to emphasize the attentiveness of the staff: I asked if there was cream in the food, but I ordered the dish anyway. The staff came back again and asked if they should bring the sauce separately if they didn't like it. I found this to be extremely customer friendly. Portions were large enough to include dessert. Price-performance is also right. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

When the place is full, the noise level is quite high. The restaurant is a bit hidden in the corner, but has a nice view of the terrace and the Alsdorfer Park by the pond. We felt very comfortable.

Tasty food, good service, clean and tidy

Prompt, problem-free reservations, quick service in a chic, modern space. It was very warm, I can't say whether there is working air conditioning. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. But a little “bon appetit” formula wouldn’t have hurt. Definitely recommended.

Food really fresh and super tasty, everything with an extra touch (e.g. very tasty seasoned, crispy fries, distinctive salad with great dressing), very friendly team. Acoustics are very pleasant thanks to suspended elements, not reverberant. Cozy outdoor area under large trees. Tip: Those with limited mobility should use the outside tables against the wall of the house - the chairs are difficult to move on the gravel area in the middle and are also a bit tippy. Fantastically shady or partial shade on hot days, also for coffee & cake, ice cream or small things. Now, in April 2024, asparagus menu again.

Were here for communion. Very friendly staff. We were allowed to bring our own decorations to decorate with. The food was great! Good selection from simple dishes like burgers and pasta to fish dishes and steak. There are also foolproof ones. There is something for everyone. The dessert was beautifully presented.
