Converting the church into a restaurant is a good idea, the menu is small but still a good selection of dishes, the price is okay, the staff is very friendly and not intrusive, I would happily eat there again at any time

A Sunday family dinner with a big class! 6 completely satisfied people with pizza, pasta, shrimp, steak. The stylishly furnished and well-kept restaurant in a former church creates a feeling of well-being. The service was competent, warm and courteous. The map (and additional board) leaves nothing to be desired and makes the decision difficult. Pizza can be put together yourself. We love coming back again and again!

I can only recommend the super delicious food. Always my pleasure. 5 stars is still not enough. Keep it up

Delicious food, individual location

The service staff was friendly, but to the “boss”! How can you act so bitchy, impossible! Something like that really spoils the ambience!!!! The location on its own is beautiful and pleasant. Unfortunately my dishes were not convincing, the salad was flabby and not appetizing, my tagliatelle were very al dente and the fish was too dry, the vegetables were definitely no longer crunchy! The dessert didn't cut it either, it was extremely sweet, pure sugar! I lived in Italy and am sad that something so simple is being ruined. It's a shame, we don't come here anymore.

I can't understand the few bad reviews! We ate there today with 6 people. Steak, pizza, fish and also the pizza were perfect. The service was friendly and attentive, so we never had to wait long for drinks. The ambience is also second to none 👍.

Interesting atmosphere in an old church. Very good Italian cuisine. The boss attentive and friendly. The greeting from the kitchen in advance was a nice surprise. We had a great evening here and felt very comfortable. Salad, pizza, zabaigone, everything was great. We will come again!!

Hello, the food is unfortunately not what the ambience would promise, The pizza was very bad in terms of dough (hard to cut because it was like... It was rubber) and the topping wasn't even in the oven. I'll say a frozen pizza isn't any worse. The lasagne was very liquid. There wasn't even a 2. Chilled specialties were not even brought to the table and the drinks that were brought were not even poured into a glass!!!! The shop managed to convince 4 people with one dish each to never enter it again!!!! In short, it was the worst pizza and lasagne we have ever eaten. Unfortunately I cannot upload the picture of the pizza.

Simply top!! Very nice place. The ambience is simply unbeatable. The charm of an “old church” can be seen and felt. Super delicious dishes of various kinds (Italian). The service is extremely friendly and yet not intrusive. The tables are very nicely set up. The garden/outdoor terrace is beautifully located behind the restaurant. Although it is located between adjacent houses, the "Hutzliege" makes it better. Just cozy and quiet. It's not the last time we've been there. We recommend.

You can have a really good meal here in Werl! Attentive service and excellent Italian cuisine in the special atmosphere of an old church are definitely worth a visit. The zabaglione is an absolute dessert highlight.

Hey here at “La vecchia chiesa” there is of course pizza too. But if you want REALLY good Italian food and want to enjoy excellent wines, you've come to the right place. Add to that the unique atmosphere in the old Werler Evangelical Church and the friendly and attentive service, simply great. You can hardly find anything better in and around Werl. I would also go a long way for that. Allora andiamo. The felicità della grande Italian cuisine in Werl.

Italienische Küche in einer Kirche. Leider kein Parkplatz. Wir hatten Pizza, Nudeln und Saltimbocca. Der Preis ist gut für das was man bekommt. War für mich schon fast zu viel. Die Pizza ist für meinen Geschmack zu weich, aber das ist ja immer so eine Sache 😀

Waren seit zwei Jahren heute mal wieder da. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich und wir wurden auch nicht nach Getränke gefragt.Leider war das Essen auch nicht so gut.

Ich hatte broscheta und Nudeln und es war so lecker ich werde dieses essen nie fergeseen.

Heute war ich und mein Kumpel dort zum Essen. Als wir an kamen gab es eine nette Begrüßung und die Chefin brachte uns zu Tisch. Sehr höfliche Lady. War immer zur rechten Zeit am Tisch um zu fragen ob wir glücklich sind oder noch etwas benötigen. Top einfach Top. Wir bestellten Rumpsteak Medium mit Rosmarin Kartoffeln Salat und Champignon Sahnesaue. Portion super Steak perfekt gegart und die Kartoffeln der Salat ein Genuss. Um die Wartezeit zum Essen zu überbrücken bekamen wir Bruscetta und Brot mit Remoulade. Alles selbst gemacht und Frisch. Preis Leistung passt für diesen Service der Qualität und Portionen und das Ambiente einfach perfekt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !!!

Sehr gute schmackhafte Nudelgerichte und Pizza im Baukastensystem. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wir kehren immer wieder gerne in dieses Restaurant zurück.
