Der Service ist spitzenklasse und das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis stimmt allemal. Der Gastbereich ist in edler Gemütlichkeit ausgestattet und verführt zu einem ausführlichem Mahl mit einem mehrgängigem Menü bis hin zum Dessert. Sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

Endlich ein Fischrestaurant in der Nähe. Sonst findet man solche leckeren Fischgerichte nur an Nord.-Ostseeküste. Wir hatten die Fischplatte Spezial. Dringend Tisch vorab reservieren,sonst keine Chance. Ist eben echt lecker. Ein kleines Thema könnte die Parkplatz Suche werden... Aber immer wieder gerne.

Gutes Essen gute Fischplatte für Zwei, war vollkommen ausreichend. Preis Verhältnis gut. Nette freundliche Bedienung 👍 Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder und empfehlen es gerne weiter.

Wir hatten einen rundum schönen Abend im Fischlokal in Westtönnen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die unglaublich freundliche und authentische Kellnerin Frau Höing. So herzlich, aufmerksam und persönlich. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Auch das Essen war einfach top. Schon der frische Salat vorweg hat Lust auf mehr gemacht, und der Hauptgang hat das absolut bestätigt. Die Soßen waren hervorragend abgestimmt und alles war wirklich köstlich. Dazu kommt die tolle, gemütliche Atmosphäre. Genau der richtige Ort, um entspannt zu genießen. Ein großes Dankeschön an das Team und besonders an Frau Höing für den großartigen Service. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren das erste mal hier. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Alles so wir es erwartet hatten. Die guten Bewertungen haben nicht übertrieben. Die Portionen waren reichhaltig . Die Preise sind angemessen. Wir haben schon für den nächsten Termin einen Tisch reserviert .

Wir waren heute mit der ganzen Familie dort. Meine Eltern waren immer begeistert deswegen bekommt jedes Restaurant von mir natürlich ne Chance..... positiv zu erwähnen war das Ambiente.....warm gemütlich ruhig.....sauber nett......kann man null meckern...... Getränke und Preise der Getränke sind angemessen und erträglich...... Speisekarte ist üppig...... für mich schon fast zu üppig.....kein Highlight wird hervorgehoben...... Garnelen und gambas fehlen.....kleine Vorspeise in Fischform fällt aus...... Hauptgerichte sind reichlich vorhanden und Beilagen auch...... Preislich liegen wir bei im Schnitt über 25€ ....... ordentliche Preise...... für die ich passend zur Karte reichlich Portionen erwarte..... diesbezüglich wurde ich enteuscht...... Portion war OK allerdings war die Zubereitung nicht perfekt......OK aber ich habe mehr erwartet...... spezialisiert auf Scholle und Zander.....es war OK aber mehr auch nicht sorry.....wir hatte 6 verschiedene Gerichte und alle waren semi zufrieden......geht definitiv besser.....nochmal hin muss ich nicht...... für die Region leider nur durchschnittlich und Fisch kann ich nicht weit entfernt besser essen für nen Euro weniger

Besser geht nicht. Angefangen von der herzlichen Begrüßung, über den wirklich tollen Service, das Ambiente und zum Schluss das Essen, einfach wirklich glatte 5 Sterne. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Für das Foto hat es leider nicht gereicht, weil einfach zu lecker.

Heute mal zum Abendessen hier im Fischlokal gegessen. Auf der Speisekarte ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Ich hatte den Barsch mit Röstkartoffeln und meine Begleitung den Zander mit Salzkartoffeln. Dazu gab es einen Salat mit sehr leckerem Dressing. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Lokal ist wirklich sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We went there for dinner this evening at 6 pm. The food was very good and freshly prepared. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was very attentive. The wait for drinks and food was reasonable. The restaurant's atmosphere was cozy, and the seating was comfortable. It was our first visit, and certainly not our last. Thank you!

We were here with three people on September 21, 2025. Reserving a table is recommended, as it gets very busy. Everything was truly impeccable! The service was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was very pleasant and well-lit. We had grilled salmon, rustic fish, and gourmet fish – excellent! The side dishes of roasted/fried potatoes and the dill sauce were equally excellent. Even the small salad that preceded it was top-notch. The portions are generous, so choosing a starter requires careful consideration. Compared to the previous location in Bönen (same name, "Das Fischlokal"), everything here is significantly better. The slightly longer journey is worth it, as we think you get something special here. Even for someone who doesn't like fish (they do serve fish ;-)). We will definitely be back.

We've always loved the Backfischmobile restaurant outside, but this time we didn't have enough time. So we bravely asked the restaurant if we could find a spot? Two people? We actually got a seat at a table reserved for later. Opposite the bar, and with a view of the kitchen. The restaurant is decorated with a "fish-friendly" feel, the decor neither inappropriate nor over-the-top, Mediterranean or North Sea coast in style (everyone can decide for themselves), and bright and friendly: a place where you can definitely feel at home. We encountered an incredibly friendly and apparently very well-coordinated team, both with the guests and in the kitchen (which was meticulously clean), attentive and smiling. A very good start. This continued as our plates were served. I deliberately chose a "simple" dish: herring with fried potatoes. Sounds harmless, but is often served carelessly. Not in Westönnen! The plate wasn't overly decorated or the portions smothered; quite the opposite: visually beautifully presented, mouthwatering. The fish was fresh, not unpleasantly salty (as in, "fish must swim") but very tender and very flavorful. The fried potatoes weren't swimming in oil, but crispy, delicately seasoned, superbly presented, and served with a subordinate garnish. The plate for my companion (Roulade Maritimo, very tasty!) was also not ornate, but optimally showcased the main ingredient, perfectly rounded off with a lemon and butter sauce. However, we'll replace the croquettes with roasted potatoes on our next visit. The side salad was fresh and crisp. To finish, an espresso, served in a handleless mug, a visually refreshing variation, balanced in flavor. The restroom, a calling card, was also top-notch, meticulously clean. What can I say? Thank you for the two delicious hours we were fortunate enough to spend with you. Glad this wasn't our only visit. And because we really enjoyed it, here are two extras for your team (one for the kitchen team, the other for the smiling team serving guests), because five, which Google allows, weren't enough.

The food is always freshly prepared, today we had mussels, which have to be ordered in advance. A huge portion for 2 people. The restaurant is a little outside, between Werl and Soest, but the journey is worth it. Reservation is recommended.

Third visit with 6 people: Everything is fine again! Second visit: The food was really very good again. However, unpleasant noise from the loudspeaker, which was reduced after a personal request. Unfortunately it was turned up again afterwards. I don't find that pleasant. Leads to devaluation. Very unpleasant, sweet smell from a fragrance diffuser or similar, very reminiscent of toilet cleaner. Really uncomfortable. Leads to a further devaluation of one star. I would hope that on a third visit I wouldn't be so mistreated either by the nose or by you. First visit: Nice! Really nice! We love fish. We'll get it there. Yummy! What I particularly like is that we have enough space.

We were once again thrilled with the food in the restaurant Das Fischlokal. The service was very nice, the atmosphere in the restaurant was really pleasant and the large fish platter for two people was excellent. The price/performance ratio also fits. We would love to come back.

We love this restaurant! We ate regularly at their former location in Bönen for nearly 20 years - and we now eat at their „new“ location in Westönnen ever other month or so. If you love fish, this is the place to go. I have never had a meal here that I didn’t enjoy. The service is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is tasteful and attractive. One of my favorite restaurants!

When I reserved my table, I was given a timetable of 2 hours. Sorry, we wanted to spend a cozy evening without time pressure. We now prefer to drink and eat the flat wine, dessert, etc. that we would have ordered at the end in another restaurant where guests are not forced to "leave" after 2 hours. It doesn't work at all!! To answer the owner's question...no, we didn't have dinner with you. Please read what I wrote carefully! I reserved a table by phone and was given a time slot of 2 hours. I simply have a problem when we are given a time limit.

Several fish dishes were no longer available, as were some drinks, but what was still there was good

We ate sea bass and redfish here today with boiled potatoes and lemon butter sauce. Everything was very tasty. Salad was crisp, good dressing, fish was fresh and to the point, very good sauce and potatoes. BUT what's the use of the raw rosemary sprig, like sage, it's inedible if it's not roasted. Fry it in the pan and it's delicious! You cut whole cloves of garlic into slices, brown them briefly. You can prepare them in advance. Then put them in the fish. Who eats whole raw cloves of knobs? Nope. Easy to put down then the number is perfect Service very nice but no idea. Apart from these small defects, it is good and recommended.

We were really looking forward to our meal at the fish restaurant, but we weren't very happy with the visit. The ambience was not very appealing for our taste, it was very loud in the rooms and also very, very warm, despite the door being half open. We were extremely disappointed with the service because we weren't asked in between whether everything was OK or whether we would like something more to drink. The food was good, but we have eaten better fish. We were first allowed to choose a dressing for the side salad, but in the end we all got the same “Sylter dressing”. Because that is the standard.
