Food was ok, but not good service. Our order was messed up, so we had to wait a long time for our food. When they noticed the mistake, we weren't even offered a drink on the house for the mishap!!! When we got our food, we were also served each other's food!!! It was our first time there and we definitely won't go there again.

Very tasty. If you like eating fish, you have to go here. Reservation is necessary.

When I reserved my table, I was given a timetable of 2 hours. Sorry, we wanted to spend a cozy evening without time pressure. We now prefer to drink and eat the flat wine, dessert, etc. that we would have ordered at the end in another restaurant where guests are not forced to "leave" after 2 hours. It doesn't work at all!! To answer the owner's question...no, we didn't have dinner with you. Please read what I wrote carefully! I reserved a table by phone and was given a time slot of 2 hours. I simply have a problem when we are given a time limit.

We've been here a few times and we like it every time. The ambience is nice and pleasant both outside and inside. The staff is always friendly. And the most important thing: The food (no matter what we've had so far) is always delicious and tasty. We'll definitely be back soon.

Fish was okay. But my wife's schnitzel without mushroom sauce is ok, but there was nothing about onions and unfortunately there were enough of them in it. It's a shame I was hoping for more.

We ate sea bass and redfish here today with boiled potatoes and lemon butter sauce. Everything was very tasty. Salad was crisp, good dressing, fish was fresh and to the point, very good sauce and potatoes. BUT what's the use of the raw rosemary sprig, like sage, it's inedible if it's not roasted. Fry it in the pan and it's delicious! You cut whole cloves of garlic into slices, brown them briefly. You can prepare them in advance. Then put them in the fish. Who eats whole raw cloves of knobs? Nope. Easy to put down then the number is perfect Service very nice but no idea. Apart from these small defects, it is good and recommended.

We were really looking forward to our meal at the fish restaurant, but we weren't very happy with the visit. The ambience was not very appealing for our taste, it was very loud in the rooms and also very, very warm, despite the door being half open. We were extremely disappointed with the service because we weren't asked in between whether everything was OK or whether we would like something more to drink. The food was good, but we have eaten better fish. We were first allowed to choose a dressing for the side salad, but in the end we all got the same “Sylter dressing”. Because that is the standard.

I'm excited. Rarely have I eaten such delicious fish. Everything was freshly cooked to perfection and the taste was more than satisfactory. It's definitely not the last time we've been here.

Second visit: The food was really very good again. However, unpleasant noise from the loudspeaker, which was reduced after a personal request. Unfortunately it was turned up again afterwards. I don't find that pleasant. Leads to devaluation. Very unpleasant, sweet smell from a fragrance diffuser or similar, very reminiscent of toilet cleaner. Really uncomfortable. Leads to a further devaluation of one star. I would hope that on a third visit I wouldn't be so mistreated either by the nose or by you. First visit: Nice! Really nice! We love fish. We'll get it there. Yummy! What I particularly like is that we have enough space.

Great recommendation! Very tasty food. I recommend making a reservation in advance as the restaurant is always busy. The waitresses were very nice and accommodating. Anyone who likes to eat fish will be very happy in this restaurant :)

Really great fish restaurant. The fish platter was really great. The dessert too. We drank delicious wine. What's particularly great is that there is Franconian beer from Bayreuth in the middle of the Sauerland. The service was also great. Gladly again.

Four different main courses and two starters were ordered and all dishes were very tasty and freshly prepared. Did you eat in the beautiful beer garden? However, the ambience inside is also very attractive and stylishly furnished. The service was good and friendly. We would like to come again!

Probably quite good for a fish restaurant, but if you don't like fish, it's not recommended. There are schnitzels with two(?) sauces and burgers, but they are quite manageable in size. Ketchup for the fries is served in a pot the size of which is reminiscent of a thimble. But as I said, probably quite good for a fish restaurant.

It was great. Nice and casual, very good fish with delicious side dishes. The service is nice and accommodating. The wine goes perfectly with the food. And what's more, the pear fruit schnapps was delicious and absolutely well tempered. I was still able to learn something there.

I went to the fish restaurant in Westönnen with my son for the first time. We are completely thrilled. The staff very friendly and attentive. The food was top notch. We had the large fish platter with shrimp and calamari. The fish fillets are perfectly fried, delicious sauces, great croquettes and fried potatoes as a side dish, and a small fresh salad beforehand. Plus a good Lugana as accompaniment. The portion was generous and the remaining fish was packed up for us to take home. Honestly? It couldn't be better. We would like to come again.

We reserved a table in advance at short notice without any problems. Called at 8 p.m., we were at the table at 8:30 p.m. One negative point, the staff felt like they were sleeping or a bit overwhelmed. Drinks came very late. But now to the essentials. Ambience pleasantly surprised. Zero fishy smell in the entire restaurant. Very nicely set up and bright. The food: absolute class. I love eating a lot of fish and I can only recommend this restaurant. Had a mixed platter with 3 different types of fish. Salad: great. Croquettes: great. Fish: absolutely top. Shrimp: world class. I can recommend it to anyone who likes to eat seafood or fish. Highly Recommended.

Two of us went there to eat. Absolutely recommended! Very extensive menu, side dishes and sauces can be chosen individually. We had the daily tip Neptune plate, excellent in terms of taste and appearance. Great value for money. Nice atmosphere, especially in the back area, at the front it's still a bit of a “pub atmosphere”, but also nice. Everything is right here, which is also shown by the fact that it was full in the middle of the week. Be sure to make a reservation! Gladly again at any time

For me it's the best restaurant in the area, I love the Schlemmer Filet and everything that has salmon on the menu, I've never been disappointed and the service has always been great. The conditions are always good attentive and nice. The cuisine is really great, even in Hamburg I didn't like the fish that much. It's just a great place, whether I'm with friends or family, I like being here.

DAS Fischlokal ist echt einfach spitzenmäßig gut! Man muss aber unbedingt einen Tisch reservieren, sonst hat man keine Chance.
