Lovely decor, lovingly prepared food, the food and drinks are absolutely delicious, the staff is warm and attentive. Many places could learn a thing or two from this. It's always a pleasure 💚

We each had a tapas platter, and both were delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive—but the food from the other tables (pinas, salads, and burgers) also looked fantastic. We'd love to come back.

A very nice and cozy restaurant with a varied menu. The tapas are delicious, the ribs are tender, and the burgers are outstanding. The selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes is also impressive – there's truly something for everyone here. The service is friendly and attentive, and the attention to detail is evident throughout.

The food was good, but nothing special, and quite expensive. Even though it was empty inside during the week and there were only a few customers on the terrace, we had to wait a noticeably long time. The service was very friendly, though. They weren't able to give us knives with which to cut the food properly. Overall, it was quite nice, but there's room for improvement.

We chose liebbar as a fitting conclusion to our department event. Even the reservation via WhatsApp worked perfectly, and my request was handled with great empathy, even though I changed the number of guests several times. Our table for 13 people was prepared, and drinks were served promptly. The food arrived for everyone at the same time, which isn't always the case in a small kitchen. And the food was fantastic. Perfect burgers, delicious tapas, and pinsa were all devoured. We were served by very friendly young people. Thanks to the team for the wonderful evening. If any restaurant deserves the name liebbar, it's liebbar!

The food was tasty, but the value for money wasn't right. €70 for two main courses, two drinks, and bread as a starter is expensive. The main courses didn't come together, and the service was lacking.

The food is truly delicious, as long as you get what you order. My friend's order was forgotten, and instead of the vegan option officially listed on the menu, I was served the animal-based version. It can happen, but when asked, the lady who took and delivered the order simply confirmed that it was the animal-based version and then disappeared without an apology. A few minutes later, a colleague came by and apologized for the minor incident, adding that she was currently being trained. That was the end of the matter. Unfortunately, the service has always been very slow and inattentive.

Very good food, all freshly prepared and of very good quality. The staff, although very young, are very friendly and attentive. It's a shame the restaurant isn't in our area. We will definitely pay another visit when we're in the area! Thank you again‼️👍🙋🏼‍♂️☀️🍀

Today, the two of us went to this beautiful, cozy, and stylish restaurant/bar! We really enjoyed it. The food selection was fantastic, so my girlfriend finally got her money's worth. She never has such a wide selection of vegetarian or vegan dishes anywhere else. Simply fantastic! Plus, the taste was absolutely delicious. We're deducting one star because we unfortunately waited a bit long for our food and had to ask for a second round of drinks twice. It was also quite busy tonight, which also speaks volumes about the delicious food!

I went there for the first time, following an invitation. Since I'm not a big fan of hamburgers, I had the Pinsa Caesar. I thought I couldn't go wrong. The crust was very hard and dry for a "pizza," so you really should have rinsed it after every bite. There was barely any tomato sauce or cheese on the bottom. I gave up halfway through because I was fed up with it, as my knife couldn't handle it either. I also found the prices very exorbitant; I wouldn't go there again myself.

We celebrated our 25th graduation anniversary at the Liebbar with about 50 people. It was an amazing evening with delicious food, great staff, and a great atmosphere. You guys rocked it!

In my opinion one of the most beautiful restaurants in Herdecke and definitely worth a visit. The staff is always friendly without exception, the food tastes good and offers a lot of variety. Various wines and other niceties from the region are available for purchase on site, great as a small gift idea for any occasion. The packaging when pre-ordering and picking up is also super environmentally friendly and well thought out. :)

Delicious food with a large vegan selection, beautiful and cozy location and extremely friendly staff. Unfortunately, some ingredients, both for drinks and vegan dishes, were not available, so we had to forego or reorder - a shame. We had to wait quite a long time for the food, but the Lieb:bar was also fully booked.

We celebrated our wedding in the liebbar with 55 guests and it was simply wonderful. Johnny and his future wife gave us the best advice and were open to every wish. Our guests were thrilled by the wide range of food on offer, regardless of whether they were vegetarians, vegans or meat lovers, everyone got their money's worth. The service was absolutely friendly, quick and attentive. We couldn't have imagined a better celebration location. Thanks to the liebbar team for the great work, we'll be happy to come back.

Friendly service and first-class food. The tapas were a reason for me to recommend the restaurant and definitely come back. I haven't eaten such great tapas in a long time. Update: Unfortunately I have to deduct two stars later. The Liebbar loses one star because it was freezing cold on each of our visits. It was estimated to be 17-18 degrees, which wasn't good for the atmosphere. I deducted the second star because the prices are unfortunately a bit too high. You pay extra for absolutely every little thing and in my opinion every dish is €2-3 too expensive.

I was here with my group of girls. The food was fantastic, the staff was super nice. The presentation was also pleasant. The price-performance ratio is in the middle range. Everything is made there in-house and what isn't made is bought very regionally. Everything was organic and highly recommended. They are only open 4 days and you have to make a reservation because the restaurant is not that big. Considering it was fully booked, there was hardly any negative impact. You can also order food to take away. Unfortunately there are no free parking spaces, but the location is wheelchair accessible. Will come again 😉

Delicious tapas in a very cozy atmosphere Finally a nice restaurant has moved into the old Klosterpütt again. We had burgers (unfortunately there are no fries) and a delicious selection of tapas for 24.90 euros per person. and lava cakes for dessert. Taste is always subjective, we found it very tasty, but the portion size is now quite poor in parts (sucuk was tiny, sheep's cheese too). The first pictures are "old portions", the last two are the current ones. The service was still super nice and attentive, we felt completely at home there. Parking is available all around the city center; it is easy to park in the Aldi parking lot. Conclusion: A clear recommendation in Herdecke.

Faire Preise, freundliche Mitarbeiter, überall gab es etwas zu entdecken, sogar auf der Toilette. Habe direkt Gutscheine zum verschenken mitgenommen, weil es viele vegane Speisen gab.

Die Bedingung dort ist die beste die ich jemals in einen Restaurant hatte. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Das Essen hat mich auch sehr überzeugt. Ich gehe immer wieder gerne dort hin.

Essen war gut, Preis und Menge passen. Der Service war an den Abend ein wenig überfordert, wir hatten aber auch nicht vorbestellt. Haben sich aber entschuldigt und man merkte, dass es ihnen wirklich leid tat. Wir werden das Restaurant nochmal besuchen, es lohnt sich.

Die Bedienungen sind super lieb! Der Service ist echt Klasse. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich, man fühlt sich hier richtig wohl. Das Essen ist auch köstlich. Hier kommt jeder auf seine Kosten, egal ob Vegan, Vegetarisch oder Fleisch, es ist für jeden was dabei. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Erstklassiger Service, leckeres Essen, Tapas. Der Außenbereich ist nah an der Straße, Sonntags ist es dennoch ziemlich ruhig.

Hervorragendes Essen, tolles Ambiente, der Service ist ausbaufähig. Wir waren gestern erstmals da und können die Liebbar weiterempfehlen. Das Essen (wir hatten Burger, die Tappas und Desserts) war köstlich. Ebenso das frisch gezapfte griech. Pils. Mir schien die Personaldecke für die Anzahl an Gästen allerdings zu dünn, wir mussten 20 min. warten bevor wir unsere erste Getränkebestellung aufgeben konnten. Sowas ist dann immer ein Stimmungsdämpfer.

Was für ein schönes Restaurant/Bar . Auf Empfehlung einer Passantin sind wir dorthin gegangen. Tolles Ambiente, freundliches Personal, die uns alles ganz nett erklärt haben. Und dann noch das super Essen. Ein Lokal zum Lieb haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir in Herdecke sind.

Super leckeres, qualitativ hochwertiges Essen.. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr professionell und stets freundlich .. wir kommen gerne wieder.. Das Ambiente an sich ist schon top aber mein Highlight war die Damentoilette mit Liebe zum Detail (Hygieneartikel für alle Lebenslagen)

Ich war schon öfter in der liebbar und hatte nie Probleme. Das Essen, gerade die Burger, sind einfach Klasse!👍🏼 hab selten einen besseren gegessen. Das Personal ist super freundlich, offen und fix Der Laden ist sehr schön eingerichtet und es gibt sogar einen netten Aussenbereich. Die Auswahl ist echt mega (Vegane Alternativen, alkoholfreien Wein, coole Sommer Getränke..) und es ist immer eine Freude die Liebbar zu besuchen🙈

Leider hat die Liebbar enttäuscht, auf die Getränke musste man schon eine zeitlang warten und auf das Essen über eine Stunde. Auf Nachfrage wann das Essen denn nun kommt wurde gesagt, dass draußen die Tische auch alle belegt sind und die Küche etwas im Zeitverzug sei. Wenn man es nicht schafft seinen Gästen in einem angemessen Zeitraum Getränke zu bringen, dann finde ich das doch da einiges schief läuft. Als das Essen dann endlich kam war der Bacon bei den Datteln im speckmantel nicht mal ansatzweise knusprig gebraten. Alles andere war in Ordnung. Das war aufjedenfall mein letzter Besuch in der Liebbar. Einfach schade Personal war zwar bemüht aber hat auf ganzer Linie enttäuscht 😞
