Stiftsbrennerei in Herdecke

We were there at Christmas with a group of several people. We were served quickly when it came to drinks, one person was forgotten and then the food was ordered. Unfortunately, when the food was there, they didn't even ask if everything was okay or if you wanted any more drinks. After dinner it was exactly the same, the empty plates were on the tables, the glasses were empty, I would have liked dessert and more drinks. But the waiters didn't really look at the table. Apparently she wasn't interested. They didn't look overwhelmed. When I paid, I told the waiter that I thought it was a shame that no one came to the table and that I would have liked to have something else, but unfortunately he wasn't interested in that. Unfortunately, even when one of the waiters ran around to serve, he didn't look like he was keen on his work. The food was okay, you could eat well, but I would have liked a slightly larger portion. I hope this review will also be read by the business leader.

Great service as always and would love to come back again

We ordered two taxi plates, but were unfortunately disappointed. The food was not served warm enough and the portion size was surprisingly small. In addition, when ordering we were not informed that tzatziki and mayo would be charged extra. When we asked over the phone, we were met with little understanding. Given these experiences, we will not order there again and unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant. We paid a total of €26.20 for the two taxi plates, which was disproportionate to the service offered.

Very friendly and the food was just good. The restaurant is modernly furnished. A nice place.

The food was delicious! However, I didn't particularly like the atmosphere, no windows. And I find the price-performance ratio to be extremely high.
