So, the first thing you're told is that gluten-free costs €5 extra. Since he invested €18,000. Okay, but so far so good. That also applies to a pizza bread for €6 as a starter, and another €5 for the main course... With all due respect, that's too much overall! We're not going there again. Then they added carpaccio for almost €16. It was completely dried out. It was more like ham and simply inedible!!! And the waitress claimed, "That's how it should be"! So, better stay away from that place!

If there were zero stars, we would give them zero. The iced coffee tasted absolutely nothing like coffee, just water with milk. The 4-star tortellini had absolutely no taste, just not good; I've never eaten anything like that before. But the greatest liberty was simply to insult us, saying we probably only know ready-made food, so that's completely unacceptable. We never normally rate anything, but this statement makes me feel compelled to comment.

I regularly get pasta to go from the window for my train ride. It tastes great, is fresh, and the people are always very friendly (for example, they'll accommodate you if you're in a hurry). It looks nice inside, too.

We were there two weeks ago and my girlfriend and I were very impressed. The pizza is a real dream for people who are gluten intolerant. The man knows what he's doing and why he's doing it because his daughter also has an intolerance. So anyone who has ever baked with gluten-free flour knows how difficult it is to get things light and airy. The owner developed the dough himself with the help of his nutritionist and you can tell. He's practically perfected it. And as a thank you, he even gave me a tip for making good dough at home. So people, off to Passau, it's worth it.

After inquiring whether they had vegan milk, which they confirmed, I ordered the mango version. The nice lady I placed my order with went back to the ice cream counter and communicated my order to a gentleman who had just arrived. After he first poured strawberry syrup into my cup and then topped it with cow's milk, I unfortunately had to interrupt him to tell him that he had just gotten my order completely wrong; I had ordered mango with oat milk. The man was visibly annoyed, which he made clear to me with a dirty look, and told me there was no mango. I, in turn, pointed to the sign in front of the counter, and he said it was out (which the ice cream seller unfortunately didn't know when I ordered), whereupon he took it out on his colleague. This man treated his colleague with complete disrespect. I assume he's her supervisor. He was also very rude to me and my girlfriend, which he can't afford in his line of work! I especially regretted paying for the order, even though I wanted mango, not strawberry. I finally tasted this not-so-cheap 'iced strawberry matcha latte': it was completely flavorless, watery oat milk with artificial colors, no sugar, and absolutely no enjoyment.

On Saturday I was in Germany with friends for the first time in my life and we were in Passau and we discovered this great restaurant right near the train station. The restaurant has a great selection of pizzas 🍕 pasta🍜 and other great food and drinks. I had a very tasty pizza with chicken breast fillet, my friends had a Hawaiian pizza and a Diavolo pizza. My friends had non-alcoholic drinks and I had an original beer from the Bavarian Lion Brewery🍻, which was also very tasty. We then shared a delicious strawberry ice cream sundae 🍨 and we really had a great stay. 🥰🤩 Thanks to the entire team at @casalinga.passau for the really excellent service, the nice welcome, the delicious food, etc ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks for everything. I'm really looking forward to my next visit to this great restaurant and can only recommend a visit there to anyone visiting Passau. 😊

We had to pay more than it actually cost (calculated using the calculator). The price was supposed to be €40.20, but they asked for €41.20. Made pasta wrong, even though you repeated it twice. The pasta was not homemade as described, the pasta from Netto was of better quality. Apparently the lemonade was supposed to be freshly squeezed, but it was just water with a little citric acid. Next time just eat across the street at L’Osteria.

He told me that many people come to him even from Munich. We had a nice service. There is GM spaghetti, gnocchi, lasagna, panna cotta, as well as chocolate cookies and ice cream. We asked for GM pizza, which meant an extra €5 per pizza, which may be a lot for many at first, but as a sick person, I was still very happy to eat freshly kneaded, homemade pizza from the oven. Wir waren zum Bummeln in Passau unterwegs und plötzlich lese ich auf einer Tafel vor einem Lokal: "Glutenfreie Pizza und Pasta". Okay, das ist ein Thema für (noch), zum Glück, wenige Menschen. Wir haben das Glück, nur Gluten unverträglich zu sein und nicht - wie die kleine Tochter des Lokalinhabers - unter Zöliakie zu leiden. So gingen meine Frau und ich einfach mal rein und sprachen den Chef an. Sofort ein total netter und aufgeschlossener Kontakt. Er erklärte uns, dass er sich schon seit Jahren mit der Thematik beschäftigt (aufgrund der Erkrankung seiner Tochter) und wir verließen das Lokal mit einem glutenfreien Stück Schokokuchen, welcher sich als superlecker herausstellte und der Ankündigung, dass wir wiederkommen würden um Pizza und Pasta zu probieren. Das taten wir dann auch am späten Nachmittag, was den Chef sehr freute. Zuerst bestellten wir zwei Schöppchen glutenfreies Bier von Lammsbräu, eine echte Seltenheit in der Gastronomie! Zuhause trinken wir das auch. Meine Frau bestellte anschließend eine Pizza Diavolo und ich die vegane Pizza mit Gemüse, beides glutenfrei - leider hat es mich auch noch mit einer Milcheiweißunverträglichkeit erwischt, also kein Käse. Ganz ehrlich, ich war in meiner Erwartungshaltung sehr skeptisch, da ich mich zuhause schon seit Jahren an glutenfreier Pizza versuche und mittlerweile, naja sagen wir zufrieden bin, aber weiß wie schwierig es ist eine Pizza zu fabrizieren, die einer "normalen" Pizza das Wasser reichen kann. Die Pizza kam und wir waren beide höchst erfreut über das, was wir dann verkosten und verzehren durften - Klasse kann ich nur sagen, mit einem echten Pizzaofen kann ich zuhause nicht konkurrieren. Aber der Teig war echt super! Ja, der Preis ist kackig - 20€ für ein Pizza, allerdings schon eine große wie wir finden - ist schon ordentlich. Aber, natürlich ist das Mehrarbeit! Und für Menschen, die unter Zöliakie leiden, müssen die Produkte in seperaten Schüsseln bzw. Maschinen hergestellt werden, was höhere Kosten und zeitlichen Mehraufwand erfordert. Fazit: Wir werden das Casalinga definitiv wieder besuchen und empfehlen es voller Überzeugung weiter. Wenn schon die glutenfreie Pizza schmeckt, wird es die normale klassische auch tun. Beim nächsten Besuch wird die selbsthergestellte glutenfreie Pasta probiert, aber ich bin jetzt schon sicher...., sie wird uns auch schmecken. Ein sehr anprechendes, nettes, kleines, sauberes Lokal, mit der Möglichkeit, auch im OG zu sitzen und das Treiben rund um den Bahnhof zu beobachten. Bel, der Inhaber und seine Familie sind äusserst bemüht, kochen gut und vollwertig, auch glutenfrei und man wird meist vom Chef selbst, sehr höflich, sehr zuvorkommend und sehr schnell bedient. Man kann, wenn es nicht allzu voll ist, mit Bel wunderbare, geistreiche Gespräche führen. Bis jetzt war alles sehr gut und es ist weiter zu empfehlen. "Oma's Milchkuchen" ein altes überliefertes Rezept ist ein Gedicht, aber auch alles andere ist lobenswert. Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne!

Leaving the train station we found this small and welcoming place with an equally welcoming room upstairs. Menu consisting of pizzas and first courses. We take a margherita pizza, a plate of lasagna and a plate of tortellini with ricotta and spinach with Bolognese sauce. Pizza, finally, with soft dough and not shoe-like dough (they even have small, good-looking pizzas). Peppers and courgettes were added to the lasagne which were not expected, but overall they were good. The tortellini, made directly by them, very good and a generous portion. For dessert we had the tiramisu brought in the glass, soft and tasty made with amaretti biscuits (strange to find in this dessert, but I must say that I found it very good). The chef wears a uniform with the colors of Italy and the waiter, very kind, offered us two milk and cocoa at the end of the lunch. Finally, the espresso coffee, worthy of its name... very good, which is not easy to find in these parts.
