Casalinga - Pizza und Pasta in Passau

Ich möchte hier eine überaus gute Bewertung für die Pizzeria CASALINGA in der Bahnhofstraße 27 in Passau abgeben. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, daß es glutenfreie Pizzen gibt, die von "Normalen" in Optik und Geschmack nicht zu unterscheiden sind. Der Teig wurde vom Inhaber monatelang selbst entwickelt und perfektioniert. Auch Tagliatelle, Tiramisu, Crepes und Schokokuchen gibt es glutenfrei. Und was für alle Zölis wichtig ist - völlig kontaminationsfrei, da die Tochter des Inhabers selbst Zöliakie hat und das ganze Hintergrundwissen da ist. Generell ist einfach alles was auf der Karte steht aus eigener Produktion und der Chef des Hauses nimmt sich für jeden Gast Zeit, sämtliche Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten zu besprechen, damit der Besuch im CASALINGA ein kulinarisches Erlebnis wird. Insgesamt freut mich auch, daß es ganz und gar ein Familienbetrieb ist. Egal ob Küche oder Service, die ganze Familie steht zusammen, ist unglaublich herzlich und hat einfach große Freude daran, den Gast glücklich zu machen. Das Lokal selbst ist sehr sauber, modern und ordentlich, der Bereich im Freien sehr gemütlich und geschützt. Vielen Dank für den überaus herzlichen und leckeren Abend! Wir sind sehr bald wieder da 🙂

Wir waren hier zum Essen und auch 1 x nur auf ein Getränk. Die Pizza war gut. Der Service ist hervorragend. Alle sind super nett und die Preise sind ok. Es war sehr voll , aber der nette Chef hat für uns sofort einen Tisch fertig gemacht. Leider schließt das Restaurant schon um 20 Uhr, aber trotzdem wurden noch Gäste die kurz vor Schluss kamen nett und freundlich bedient.

Ungelogen, die beste glutenfreie Pizza ever im Casalinga Feinkost Passau. Ein eigenes Rezept, das der Chef mit viel Liebe entwickelt hat, weil seine Tochter auch betroffen ist. Klare Empfehlung optisch und geschmacklich kein Unterschied. Und dann war er auch noch so nett und hat uns Tipps für zuhause gegeben. Dieses Restaurant ist wirklich toll. 😊 Das Ambiente ist gemütlich. Flotter Service, sehr freundlich. Große Auswahl an glutenfreien Speisen. Sogar Crêpe. Der Iced Strawberry Matcha mit selbstgemachter Erdbeersoße war sensationell lecker.

Haben uns in Passau mit Verwandten getroffen, mein Neffe hat eine Gluten Intoleranz drum sind wir da Essen. Die Frau von meinen Neffen hat einen Platzt im freien reserviert, da es sehr windig war wollten wir lieber drinnen sitzen. Der Besitzer sagte kein Problem und richtet für uns einen Platz her und das für 15 Personen in kürze das ist einmal top. Dann das Services das zweite Mal top und zum Schluss das Essen , es passte für alle. Ich weiß wenn ich nach Passau fahre esse ich nur mehr bei ihm. Mann kann das nicht in Worte fassen wie toll es hier war, man muss es selber ausprobieren. Ich bedanke mich noch einmal beim Wirten ich komme sich er wieder. DANKESCHÖN

Ich hatte eine tolle Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant. Der Service war von Anfang bis Ende hervorragend und das Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Das Essen war super lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl an Gerichten, sodass für jeden etwas dabei war. Das Restaurant war sehr sauber und ordentlich, und die Atmosphäre war angenehm. Das Personal hat dafür gesorgt, dass man sich willkommen fühlt. Insgesamt ein großartiger Ort zum Essen mit ausgezeichnetem Service und leckerem Essen. Ich komme gerne wieder und kann es nur weiterempfehlen!!

Wirklich eine tolle Erfahrung als jemand der aufgrund von Zöliakie kein Gluten essen darf. Die Pizza war für mich von einer ‚normalen‘ Pizza 🍕 nicht zu unterscheiden. Zum Nachtisch noch einen Crêpes mit Nutella natürlich auch glutenfrei und einfach lecker. Schade das ich 800km weit weg wohne und mir in Schleswig Holstein keine vergleichbare Gastronomie bekannt ist die mit diesem Erlebnis mithalten kann. Danke 🙏🏻

Wir waren hier gestern essen mit Zölliakie. WIR WAREN BEGEISTERT!!! Burger, Pizza und Nudeln und sogar Nachtisch und Kuchen alles glutenfrei zu bekommen. Die beste glutenfreie Pizza die wir je bekommen haben. Alle Teige selber gemacht, ein eigener Berreich in der Küche- also konterminationsfrei und Personal das sich wirklich auskennt. Auch die normalen Speisen waren sehr lecker. Von uns locker 10 von 5 Sternen. Wäre es von unserem zu Hause nicht 950km weg, wäre dies unser Stamm-Italiener ❤️.

Es war die beste Glutenfreie Pizza, die ich je gegessen habe!!!! 100% Zöli safe, mega nettes Personal und das Essen ist der Hammer!! 🤩 meine Freundinnen hatten “normales” Essen und waren begeistert, auch sie schmeckten von meiner Glutenfreien Pizza kaum bis keinen Unterschied zu ihren Weizenmehl Pizzen. Der Inhaber hat sich super viel Zeit für uns genommen, hat uns alles erklärt und am Ende nich den Glutenfreien rohen Teig gezeigt.🤌🏼🥹 schon bei der Reservierung wurde sich super um unsere Anliegen angenommen. Die Lasagne Bolognese war klein und erinnerte geschmacklich mehr an Nudeln mit (guter) Tomatensoße - es war einfach sehr wenig Hackfleisch drin

Waren Essen wegen glutenfrei für meine zöliakie Tochter . Glutenfrei super gut.....wir haben Pizza ,Pasta und Burger normal gegessen auch super gut ....Service super nett und vor allem für zöliakiebetroffene euch wird jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder. Sooo 😋

Ich wurde sehr freundlich begrüßt und behandelt, die Pizza (zum mitnehmen) war sehr lecker mit schönem dünnen Boden und gut belegt.

Die glutenfreie Lasagne sowie das (standardmäßig) glutenfreie Tiramisu schmeckten mir ausgezeichnet. Meine Begleitungen fanden die Pasta Al Tonno, den Salat und den Kaffee auch toll. Für alle, die wie ich ebenfalls an Zöliakie erkrankten oder sich glutenfrei ernähren: Es gibt neben Lasagne auch glutenfreie Pizza, Pasta, Burger und andere Desserts. Das Personal bzw der Betreiber kennt sich sehr gut mit der Thematik aus. Uns sagte man uns, man würde das Geschirr für glutenfreie Mahlzeiten in einem separaten Geschirrspüler waschen, eine andere Pizzakelle verwenden und weitere ähnliche Vorkehrungen treffen. Die Pasta, Pizza und Desserts seien intern entwickelt bzw hauseigen angefertigt.

Die glutenfreie Pizza war extrem gut. Eine der besten, die ich jemals gegessen habe. Die Besitzer sind zudem sehr freundlich und kennen sich sehr gut mit Zöliakie aus. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Ein wirklich tolles Lokal mit einem super lieben Betreiber. Ich habe mich mit meiner Zöliakie so wohl gefühlt, alles wurde mir genau erklärt und sogar der selbst entwickelten glutenfreie Pizzateig wurde uns gezeigt. Geschmacklich war die Pizza ein absolutes Highlight, das Tiramisu ebenso. Eine echte Empfehlung für Menschen mit Zöliakie und auch für alle anderen!

Hausgemachte Pizzen, Pasta, Kuchen und noch mehr. Hier ist ein Stück Italien in Passau gelandet. Das Essen war in unter 5min auf dem Tisch und mega lecker. Ein sehr charismatischer Ladenbesitzer. Immer einen Besuch wert.

Wir haben hier vor unserer Weiterfahrt zum Hafen einen Zwischenstopp eingelegt und es hat uns gut gefallen. Wir bestellten den Quattro Formaggi, der wirklich lecker war. Wir hatten auch den Diavola, der zwar nicht zu unseren Favoriten zählt, aber auch gut war. Sehr empfehlenswert.

I ordered a pizza that was remarkably fast, which is excellent service. I didn't need a reservation or have to wait. While the pizza was nice, it lacked a special touch—perhaps the sauce, or maybe it needed a little more cheese! What I loved most was the service and the speed. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu. However, at the heart of that evening's ambiance was her: the waitress. Amidst the aroma of melted cheese and the murmur of the room, my heart remained there.

Great little restaurant in the city center! The food was excellent. The staff were super friendly and very attentive to my celiac disease! They gave a great explanation of the safety precautions in the kitchen, and there's a separate oven for gluten-free pizzas!

Delicious gluten-free pizza. The owner is very knowledgeable; he has a daughter with celiac disease. The pizza dough is homemade, and the gluten-free pizza is very light and almost indistinguishable from regular pizza – my wife has celiac disease and was thrilled. For dessert, we had a crepe – which was also very tasty. We'll definitely be back.

If you want bad, overpriced ice cream, go there. Despite warnings that the ice cream had already thawed (it was gritty and lumpy) and the whipped cream was from a can! No response from the waitress.

Only the location saves the rating. I'm giving it two stars solely for the location, which is excellent and central. The pizza seemed frozen, and the tiramisu... a real sacrilege, made with amaretti biscuits! I don't understand the "Italian" name for the restaurant: I seriously doubt it has anything to do with true Italian cuisine.

I stayed here in Bavaria over the weekend for work reasons and was looking for a place where you can also eat gluten-free. It doesn't affect me personally, but what wouldn't you do for your colleagues? My pumpkin soup was delicious; I really liked the spice. My colleague had gluten-free pizza bread with garlic. It costs extra, but hey, I didn't notice any difference to regular pizza bread. It wasn't dry or unpleasant in texture. Top product. My burger was also really good, different from what I expected, but a very pleasant surprise. Very tasty. My colleague also really liked the gluten-free spaghetti with arrabiata sauce. Nice boss, good concept. And there's a demand for good gluten-free food. Thumbs up, we'd love to come back next time we're in the area.

We had lunch today, Saturday, September 13, 2025. My wife ordered a regular pizza, and I ordered a gluten-free pizza. The pizza dough for the gluten-free pizza is made in-house. The owner's youngest daughter suffers from celiac disease herself. The gluten-free pizza is made in a special pizza oven. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable. The gluten-free pizza tastes first-class. They also offer gluten-free beer, gluten-free pasta dishes, gluten-free burgers, and crepes. The gluten-free pizza is an extra €5. We'll be back.

If there were zero stars, we would give them zero. The iced coffee tasted absolutely nothing like coffee, just water with milk. The 4-star tortellini had absolutely no taste, just not good; I've never eaten anything like that before. But the greatest liberty was simply to insult us, saying we probably only know ready-made food, so that's completely unacceptable. I regularly get pasta to go from the window for my train ride. It tastes great, is fresh, and the people are always very friendly (for example, they'll accommodate you if you're in a hurry). It looks nice inside, too.

We were there two weeks ago and my girlfriend and I were very impressed. The pizza is a real dream for people who are gluten intolerant. The man knows what he's doing and why he's doing it because his daughter also has an intolerance. So anyone who has ever baked with gluten-free flour knows how difficult it is to get things light and airy. The owner developed the dough himself with the help of his nutritionist and you can tell. He's practically perfected it. And as a thank you, he even gave me a tip for making good dough at home. So people, off to Passau, it's worth it.

In the middle of Passau, delicious ice cream, yes, but the addition wasn't so good, but in hot weather, it was a good way to cool down.

Once and never again! Also tastes bland! I wanted to get an iced matcha latte for the train ride, which this cafe advertises heavily, with a choice of mango or strawberry. After inquiring whether they had vegan milk, which they confirmed, I ordered the mango version. The nice lady I placed my order with went back to the ice cream counter and communicated my order to a gentleman who had just arrived. After he first poured strawberry syrup into my cup and then topped it with cow's milk, I unfortunately had to interrupt him to tell him that he had just gotten my order completely wrong; I had ordered mango with oat milk. The man was visibly annoyed, which he made clear to me with a dirty look, and told me there was no mango. I, in turn, pointed to the sign in front of the counter, and he said it was out (which the ice cream seller unfortunately didn't know when I ordered), whereupon he took it out on his colleague. This man treated his colleague with complete disrespect. I assume he's her supervisor. He was also very rude to me and my girlfriend, which he can't afford in his line of work! I especially regretted paying for the order, even though I wanted mango, not strawberry. I finally tasted this not-so-cheap 'iced strawberry matcha latte': it was completely flavorless, watery oat milk with artificial colors, no sugar, and absolutely no enjoyment.

On Saturday I was in Germany with friends for the first time in my life and we were in Passau and we discovered this great restaurant right near the train station. The restaurant has a great selection of pizzas 🍕 pasta🍜 and other great food and drinks. I had a very tasty pizza with chicken breast fillet, my friends had a Hawaiian pizza and a Diavolo pizza. My friends had non-alcoholic drinks and I had an original beer from the Bavarian Lion Brewery🍻, which was also very tasty. We then shared a delicious strawberry ice cream sundae 🍨 and we really had a great stay. 🥰🤩 Thanks to the entire team at @casalinga.passau for the really excellent service, the nice welcome, the delicious food, etc ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks for everything. I'm really looking forward to my next visit to this great restaurant and can only recommend a visit there to anyone visiting Passau. 😊

Es wird am Ende mehr berechnet als bestellt wird und auf der Karte preislich vermerkt wird. Drei Kugeln Eis und einen Kaffee am Ende 13,50€ man bekommt keine Rechnung somit muss es einem selber auffallen in anderen Reviews steht das selbe. Hier wird gemauschelt auf Kosten des Kunden.

We had to pay more than it actually cost (calculated using the calculator). The price was supposed to be €40.20, but they asked for €41.20. Made pasta wrong, even though you repeated it twice. The pasta was not homemade as described, the pasta from Netto was of better quality. Apparently the lemonade was supposed to be freshly squeezed, but it was just water with a little citric acid. Next time just eat across the street at L’Osteria.

Four of us came here for lunch. Choosing was quite difficult, so we ordered six main courses straight away so we could try our way through. It was a real treat. Everything was fresh and homemade. You can tell the cooking here is done with love and a lot of know-how. The desserts are also highly recommended. The ambiance on the first floor is wonderful, and the service very attentive. SIMPLY A DREAM❤️😍❤️ I've eaten many pizzas BUT never one this good! We walked in by chance. We received a warm welcome and were seated immediately without having to wait. Everything here is still made by hand, and great attention to detail is paid to the plates! The eye definitely enjoyed the sight of these delicacies. There were four of us and we tried various pizzas (Capricosa, shrimp, and sardines) and pasta dishes (chicken breast, carbonara, and cannelloni), all of which were truly outrageously amazing!! Afterwards, we had various desserts (tiramisu, caramelized milk cake, and crepes). I'd happily spend my money on a meal like this! The staff are really very accommodating and up for a little chat. Four of us were here today. After searching for ages for a restaurant that wasn't overcrowded or a snack bar, we found ourselves standing outside the door. The lovely daughter of the house invited us in, and we immediately found a lovely seat upstairs 😍 We were immediately impressed by Casalinga. Great service with a lot of enthusiasm and love for gastronomy and conviction in their own offerings. Everything is fresh, no ready-made meals, and they cater to customers' wishes very, very well. I couldn't decide between two pizzas, so they offered me a half/half. The love for the craftsmanship and the ingredients was evident in every bite! The prices are definitely justified for this quality! Thanks to the family of restaurateurs ❤️ We would love to come back!

Was invited to Casalinga. A special kind of pizzeria. Among other things, it had a lasagna with beef. It tasted very good. I was impressed by the service and the ambience as well as the cleanliness. Very authentic. Gladly again.

We ate a portion of pasta, which was really tasty. Plus a gluten-free pizza. The pizza topped all conventional pizzas! It was simply phenomenal and I can only recommend it to everyone, including people who can tolerate gluten. Great place!

We went shopping and were hungry. We found this restaurant via Google Maps. The view is very nice at the top in the evening. The owner served us and was very nice! After a short wait we were served a very tasty pizza. Baked crispy and still with a lot of air in the dough. Beef ham and beef salami are served as toppings, which taste high quality. Finally, there was ice cream on the house for our daughter. We were very happy with our choice and thank you for the hospitality.

Best pizzeria far and wide. I haven't had such good pizza and pasta in a long time. Even the gluten-free pizza was amazing. I can only recommend it to everyone. Would love to come back. Great service from the boss personally.
