Really good and very friendly staff. A well-chosen menu makes choosing easy and the food tastes great. The chili con carne didn't taste artificial but as if it had been prepared at home without any flavor enhancers or binding agents. Great price/performance ratio!

The restaurant is lovingly furnished, offers delicious food at a very fair price and is run with more joy and warmth than I have ever seen before. I like to come here again and again.

Everything is excellent. Very good pumpkin salad, sausage with tomato sauce, curry and exquisite potatoes, and a good wine. Very well priced. Many thanks to the cook who is Uruguayan and Noa we have been able to understand. Congratulations!

This is something different: not, as the name suggests, another “Italian”. Stopping off - in the classic sense: food, drink, friendly care. If necessary, retreat to a modern relaxation room is also possible. Dine really well.

Great restaurant with very tasty food and incredibly nice people to work with! The living room next door is also really nice, where you can spontaneously retreat and pray or just linger. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

We were there today as tourists for lunch. Although there wasn't much going on in the square, the restaurant was well attended, and rightly so. We had cream of cauliflower soup as a starter. The main course was two types of dumplings (spinach and beetroot) with salad. Everything fresh and very tasty. Friendly service. Definitely worth recommending.

The day before my daughter's wedding we needed a new location for the (cold) lunch (Bavarian snack), as the originally planned restaurant was still closed due to flooding. La Cantina promptly helped us out of this emergency and quickly conjured up a wonderful buffet for 38 people. The atmosphere is modern and cozy. We and our guests really enjoyed it. THANK YOU❣️

We discovered la cantina by chance today and went in because of the good reviews. We weren't disappointed...On the contrary, super friendly service, open kitchen where real cooking is done, great atmosphere, young and modern, super delicious food, even special requests (gluten-free) no problem. We felt very welcome all around. We'd love to come back! Really friendly restaurant, keep it up!

Unexpectedly modern design and furnishings. It's like a loft in New York. Very nicely done. Consistently friendly, young people. The menu is manageable, but the food tastes and looks good. Recommended for a snack in between and a few drinks.

Great food, the wild mushroom and pearl barley risotto was awesome. And at an absolutely reasonable price. Plus the friendliest staff and the view of Passau Cathedral. Nothing more is needed. Absolute recommendation!

Insider tip! In the middle of the city and yet untouched by the hustle and bustle of tourists. Including a restaurant with a great terrace under the linden trees. Food very tasty, staff extremely friendly. Still have to add: After a bike tour to Vienna, this restaurant is the best I found. I stopped back on the way back. 😀

War - bei großer Hitze - nur auf ein Getränk im Gastgarten dort. Aber sehr schöner Eindruck, nettes Personal, schöne Inneneinrichtung. Und vorbei getragene Speisen sahen sehr lecker aus. Deutlich auf der Merkliste fürs nächste Mal in Passau.

Absolute Empfehlung, nette Bedienung und sehr feines, frisches Essen mit viel Liebe und Leidenschaft. Sehr gerne wieder!

Kleines aber feines Restaurant / Café direkt am Dom, das offenbar irgendwie zu einer christlichen Einrichtung gehört. Wir saßen draußen auf dem Domplatz und haben eine Kleinigkeit gegessen und viiiieeeeel getrunken, an diesem heißen Tag. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Getränke groß, kühl und erfrischend! ;-) Mit anderen Worten: Alles bestens.

Als Mittagsgericht Schweinebraten mit Semmelknödel und Kraut für ca. 13€, kann man nur empfehlen. Über den gebotenen Service kann man sich auch nicht beschweren, alles einwandfrei.

Wir sind heute in unserem Urlaub auf LaCantina gestoßen und waren sogleich fasziniert von der Kopplung mit dem Gebetshaus. Das Essen war super lecker und die Bedienung war aufmerksam und superfreundlich. Absolute Empfehlung.

Eine so nette und freundliche Atmosphäre, habe ich bisher kaum erlebt. Die Bedienung so authentisch, freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Umgang auch untereinander ist spürbar freundlich und positiv. Wow! Was für ein Erlebnis. Die LaCantina am Passauer Domplatz ist ein sehr schönes, modernes und cooles Restaurant im Herzen der Dreiflüssestadt. Leckere Speisen zu fairen Preisen, ein grandioser Service und ein wundervolles Ambiente. Die Kellner waren stets freundlich und die Wartezeiten sind recht kurz, obwohl die Speisen frisch zubereitet werden. Man kann sogar in die Küche hineinsehen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Auch der Kaffee, der Bio-Qualität hatte, ist sehr zu empfehlen. Unique-Selling-Point: Das Restaurant ist auch offen für Personen, die sich in anderen Restaurants eine Mahlzeit nicht leisten könnten und bietet ein Pay-What-you-can Gericht an. Einziges "Manko": Leider ist das Restaurant nur unter der Woche und meist nur vom Mittag bis späten Nachmittag geöffnet. Lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall dort zum Mittagessen oder auf einen Kuchen vorbei zu gehen.

Modern eingerichtetes Café, sehr nette Bedienungen, gute Speisen. Komme gerne hier her. Besonders das Angebot "PayWhatYouCan" (bezahle, was du gerade geben kannst) finde ich echt genial. Ansonsten gibt es immer Wochenkarten, einsehbar auf der Webseite. Eingang ist barrierefrei.
