This place is not recommended if you are hoping for friendliness and need help. I asked nicely for a toilet. It was denied. If I'm not treated kindly in a restaurant as a non-guest, you won't have me as a guest either. That's why I won't come here anymore.

Wir habe im The Roof schon oft lecker gegessen und uns dieses Restaurant jetzt auch für eine Familienfeier ausgesucht. Danke an das ganze Team für einen wunderbaren Abend, an dem alles gestimmt hat: der nette Empfang und aufmerksame Service, die perfekte Zusammenstellung des Sharing Dinner und die sehr gute Weinauswahl - auch alkoholfrei! Wir können das Restaurant weiterempfehlen und es ist eine wirkliche Bereicherung für den Stadtteil.

Top, very good food and service

I absolutely cannot recommend the fave Home restaurant. I had dinner there with my girlfriend last Saturday. We both ordered the sake bowl. Unfortunately, our experience began unpleasantly when my friend found a long hair in her bowl - an absolute no-go for any restaurant. Even though the taste of the food was okay, I got severe stomach cramps afterwards that were so severe that I had to go to the hospital. Today is Tuesday and I am still dealing with persistent pain. It's really distressing and definitely shouldn't have happened. Especially when working with sensitive ingredients such as raw fish, hygiene must be the top priority - that was obviously not the case here. I strongly advise anyone not to visit this restaurant. Experiences like this shouldn't happen to anyone!!!!

After a year break I visited this restaurant, everything was fine, just a change of waiter. The current waitress didn't make a good impression, we wanted to spend time together and the waitress talked too much, waved her hands too much over the food and was a bit confused. We still recommend it

Loveless and without esprit. Presumably, if at all, lives on old glory. Mentioned in the Michelin Guide until 2021. Very good location but only 2 tables occupied on Friday evening at prime time. Had something of a ghostly atmosphere. The service was very nice and helpful, the tables looked like they were in a retirement home canteen. Creepy. The menu is boring and unimaginative. The food, beef fillet was excellent in quality and preparation. The recommendation of the day, turbot very solidly prepared, good quality fish, a bit overcooked. The side dishes all and particularly forgettable. The tartar as a starter looks nice, but more of a blender than good tartar. The cocktails were very good. Wine recommendation OK. Sorry, but it's not surprising that the place was empty. No repeater.

For anyone who orders something there, I can definitely recommend the calzone variations and if it's something you should try first, the bread with homemade ayoli. The dough of both the bread and the calzone were excellent. Since there is a lot of shit in Sennestadt and most people think, Great, I could have set fire to that €20, I can say with a clear conscience that there is something sensible for the money.
