After a recommendation. Was passing through. Was pleasantly surprised for a restaurant in the middle of an inconspicuous street.

Ich habe meinen runden Geburtstag mit knapp 50 Gästen Anfang April 2025 im Kraftwerk Oberursel gefeiert – und was soll ich sagen: Es war einfach großartig! Frau Finkes und ihr Serviceteam sowie Herr Seebacher in der Küche haben eine hervorragende Leistung abgeliefert – oder besser gesagt: einen unvergesslichen Abend gestaltet. Das Essen war exzellent, die Weine perfekt ausgewählt, der Service aufmerksam und herzlich, und die Speisen auf höchstem Niveau zubereitet. Was will man mehr? Auch die Location selbst ist einfach beeindruckend – das Flying Dinner hat wunderbar zum Stil des Abends gepasst. Bis weit nach 3:00 Uhr morgens wurde gelacht, gefeiert und getanzt – nicht zuletzt dank des großartigen DJs Axel Wolfinger (wolfinger-music), der für die perfekte musikalische Begleitung gesorgt hat. Unsere Gäste – und natürlich auch wir – waren mehr als zufrieden. 5 Sterne und eine uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung! Wir waren garantiert nicht zum letzten Mal dort

Very good food in a kind of tennis hall.

It was a dream to eat here. A really fine yet relaxed dining experience! We were there during the week and it was great because there wasn't that much going on, but it was still a pleasant atmosphere. Background music was at just the right volume, which I think is very important! We each chose one of the three-course menus and didn't regret it for a moment. It was just as delicious as it looks in the pictures. Would definitely come again!

Summary: If you’re looking for authentic Thai cuisine, you’ve come to the wrong place. Kokumy is just another one of those restaurants in the city that focuses solely on Instagrammability. The menu is a mystery, and the prices are exorbitant for what you receive. You can't simply order 1-2 dishes; it’s not enough. The rice for the saucy main course has to be ordered separately. If you're lucky, you'll spend around €50 per person, and you’ll be left wondering what was even Thai about the food. The service was a disaster. There were five of us, and the staff clearly struggled to keep up - in the end three people where involved to service our table. After we placed our order, chaos ensued. The dishes came out one by one, with no rhyme or reason. Some at the table hadn’t even started eating while others were already finished. We had to repeatedly mention that some dishes were missing. One server told us the kitchen was working on it. Another confirmed that items had been forgotten, and the bartender explained that some dishes were served as a first course and others as a second—something we were never informed about. He claimed the kitchen had to do it this way due to capacity issues, but there was no prior notice. The highlight of the night was when we were charged for the wrong table. During the correction, it became clear that, in addition to a lack of service skills, basic math knowledge was also absent—despite the use of a calculator. Fried vegetables and eggplant drowned in soy sauce can be found in far more delicious alternative restaurants. Don’t be fooled by the decoration and seemingly good reviews on Google.

The food was great, exciting and refreshing! The service was super nice, but a bit too nice for my taste. The store is beautifully and harmoniously furnished and has a relaxed but upscale atmosphere.

Amazing restaurant. Menu is always changing and both meat and vegetarian dishes are uniquely composed. Really one of our favorite restaurants in Frankfurt. Terrace is great in the summer

Disgusting cockroach discovery in a hamburger The two of us ate at this restaurant last week. Unfortunately, after finding a cockroach in the food, we can't recommend it at all! After we entered the restaurant at 5 p.m., we were immediately informed that the kitchen would not prepare dinner until 6 p.m. We then just wanted to have a drink and look for another restaurant. The service staff then changed course so that we stayed. We were literally persuaded to accept the offer of an earlier meal. We then let ourselves be chatted and looked at the menu again, as the chef had to be asked several times what dishes he could have prepared at an earlier time. Finally we ordered a truffle pizza and a hamburger. While the truffles had no flavor and the pizza needed seasoning, as did the fries, when I cut my hamburger I actually found a cockroach hidden within the toppings. Luckily I ate the burger sliced... When confronted with the discovery, the service staff reacted relatively unaffected and simply said that this could certainly happen in warmer temperatures. Insects would always fall from the ceiling. This reaction was an absolute no-go. As well as dealing with the bill. The hamburger wasn't charged, but the pizza was, which I couldn't eat either because of my disgust. A proper apology was sought in vain. Only a drink to "disinfect" was offered... Very macabre and insensitive. Therefore, the restaurant is not recommended at all and the hygienic conditions leave more than to be desired!

Very nice restaurant! Perfect service! Waiter very kind! The food was also good, potato soup and as main course the “All in One” with nice mix of sea food , chicken and falafel. The beer was fresh and good! Recommend for a nice and calm experience after a long day of work!

Beautiful location, super friendly staff, delicious food (salad with halloumi and mango, homemade banana bread with warm chocolate sauce), wonderful evening! Absolute recommendation! 😃👍

I ordered a pasta plate for €10, the pasta looked like it came from an instant pack and the washing water from half a head of lettuce, which I identified as a side dish, was 2 cm high in the plate. I would think twice about eating there.

Beer garden visited as tourists on May 1, 2025. Beer garden very nicely located. Organization chaotic. Staff at the Bierpilz stressed and unfriendly. Only eat fries in the beer garden. I know this is just a snapshot, but we won't be coming here again for the next few days. Recommendation: Paulaner beer garden in Wetzlar.

EDIT: The 4 reviews come from the 4 people who all experienced the same thing with a single order. That's why everyone has the right to leave their personal conclusion. The fact that you can't satisfy 4 people with one order should give you pause. Thank you for your offer of free ordering, but unfortunately that doesn't help me if the quality is the same. Really underground. So if I could I wouldn't give a single star...! I'm so disappointed, your soups taste like nothing, no taste, thin like water, very, very bad... normally I would have had to get money for eating that... The fried noodles, yes what can you say about that, didn't taste like anything either... It's better to find another cook...or taste the food before it's served...
