Great atmosphere, but some tables are rather less comfortable. Overall, the food is very good, but the combination of one or two dishes is a bit questionable: Burrata with lime and vanilla sounds good, but it only fits halfway - the acidity and sweetness are so pronounced that you can't actually taste any of the burrata . This dish is also a prototype for the overall relatively poor price/performance ratio. 18 euros for a really tiny portion is not acceptable even in downtown Frankfurt. What was particularly disappointing during our visit was the service: everyone was nice, but we had to wait forever for almost everything, asking questions and complaining. Too bad.

This is a quality restaurant on Berlinerstrasse in Frankfurt. Environs are urban and modern fill with nice ambience making it a good venue for a evening with friends, work colleagues, family and date nights. Opening hours are 6pm to 11 or 12pm nightly. Reservations can be made in advance. We dined during midweek just after 6.30pm and were able to be seated with ease on a walk-in basis. Menu features a nice range of starters, share style servings, mains and desserts including vegetarian options as well. On the evening we enjoyed everything served. Tuna tataki with a whipped avocado with wasabi was ok, hummus and pita was as expected, Aubergine with curry sauce and almond tasted rather nice, grilled octopus was very good. Really enjoyed the environs of Cresco. Service was friendly and timely, dishes were presentable and tasted pretty good on the whole. We'd gladly dine here again during future trips to Frankfurt based on this experience.

Service war freundlich und bemüht - aber überfordert. Dir Sitzplätze sind weitläufig verteilt, wir wurden daher oft übersehen und mussten oft winken oder rufen. Die Vorspeisen waren gut, die Hauptspeisen, insbesondere das Huhn war nur mittelmäßig, leider eher fad. Die geäußerte Kritik wurde allerdings professionell aufgenommen. Preislich sehr ambitioniert- für unser Erlebnis nicht angemessen.

The sharing dinner is perfect for dinner with several people. The atmosphere was quiet so it was easy to have a conversation. The service was also excellent and catered to all requests. We were completely satisfied and would come back at any time 😊

We had dinner at Cresco today for my husband's birthday and got the menu. A large selection of different dishes. Everything is very deliciously seasoned, very cleverly combined, so that the consistency, taste, etc. come together perfectly. As a starter there was bread with various dips (whipped feta is my clear favorite!). In the second course we had tuna, burrata, eggplant and sweet potato. The main course is US beef, cauliflower and salmon. Very very tasty! I can highly recommend the brownie for dessert! We shared everything, which was nice to really connect and share a common experience. In addition to the very creative food, the service here is also incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. We had a lovely evening and would love to come back!

Cresco in Frankfurt is not only a foodie's delight, but also incredibly dog-friendly! The modern, stylish atmosphere of the restaurant creates a great ambience, and the menu is a feast for the senses - creative, fresh and first-class in taste. What is particularly noteworthy is how warmly our dog was received. There was even a small water bowl and lots of attention from the staff. Overall, the service was attentive and friendly, which made the evening perfect. For anyone who enjoys good food and wants to bring their four-legged friend along, Cresko is a fantastic choice. Absolutely recommended!

We had a customer evening at CRESCO. It's nice how David and Matti think for themselves! Our premise was that we eat well and do so in a vibe where we can have a good conversation with our customers. We chose the flying dinner concept, where the dishes are served in small portions. The kitchen had selected a suitable wine for each dish, making it an excellent food and wine pairing. This worked perfectly! The food was varied and high quality. Our customers and we really enjoyed it. We still hear positive comments from our customers. Gladly again and highly recommended! Wir sind oft essen in verschieden Restaurants, aber leider in diesem Restaurant war der Service echt miserabel. Das ist gut und das Ambiente auch aber das Cresco sollte überlegen ein neues Kellner Team einstellen. Keine fragt nochmal nach ob wir noch was trinken wollten, es wird nicht richtig abgeräumt die Kellner wissen nicht über das Essen von der Menü Karte Bescheid . Ein guter Service macht auch nochmal das Essen besser , also Essen echt Top Service katastrophal

Ich hatte vorab angekündigt, dass ich ein Date dort haben werde und die Bedingungen sind auch direkt darauf eingegangen. Ich und meine Begleitung wurden behandelt, als wenn wir nicht das erste mal vor Ort waren. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Cresco has now become one of my favorite restaurants in Frankfurt. The stylish ambience combines elegance with a modern touch and still creates a cozy atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. Perfect for special occasions or simply for a relaxed evening. Particularly noteworthy is the staff - attentive, friendly and always on hand without being intrusive. Exactly what you would want in a restaurant of this class. The menu is varied and offers something for every taste. I've tried many dishes and the chicken is definitely one of my favorites. The starters, such as the hummus with fresh bagel or baguette, are also a clear recommendation. The choice is really not easy. The selection of drinks is excellent and the cocktails are perfectly crafted. There is a suitable drink for every occasion. The Cresco impresses not only with its culinary aspects, but also with its cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere. With a reservation we didn't have to wait and were able to enjoy the evening to the fullest. Whether for a special occasion or a relaxed evening with friends - Cresco is a clear recommendation for anyone who appreciates fine dining in a stylish environment.

Wir waren eher zufällig hier, da das Cresco unmittelbar an unserem Hotel gelegen ist. Alle 3 Gänge waren sehr lecker und haben begeistert. Nachdem wir mit einem tollen Gincello Spritz gestartet sind gab es ein leckeres Thunfisch Tataki, gefolgt von einem ebenso tollen Lamm sowie einem Mascapone Stachelbeere Baiset zum Abschluss . Der Service war gleichermaßen aufmerksam wie unauffällig, so wie es sein sollte. Ein wenig verwundert es den Gast allerdings, das es bei dem Preisniveau weder einen Gruß aus der Küche noch sonst eine Aufmerksamkeit gibt. Es war ein schöner Abend und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nach mehrmaligem Anlauf hatte es geklappt mit einer Reservierung anlässlich des Geburtstages unserer Tochter. Um ehrlich zu sein, waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Der Service war teilweise mittelmäßig. Zwischenzeitlich bedienten uns 4-5 unterschiedliche Servicekräfte, was ich suboptimal finde. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis finden wir nicht angemessen Die Akustik ist sehr schlecht, da die Raumhöhe sehr hoch sind. Der Hype ist meines Erachtens etwas überbewertet.

Am Anfang war der Service wirklich gut. Aber am Ende wechselte der Kellner wahllos zwischen Englisch und Deutsch hin und her. Sie nahmen unsere Gläser, noch bevor wir fertig waren. Außerdem waren wir noch im Gespräch und sie fragten, ob wir bezahlen wollten, ohne zu berücksichtigen, dass wir noch nicht fertig waren. Sehr unhöflich

An sich war alles super. Aber das das halbe Restaurant für einen Vortrag inkl. Beamer genutzt wurde zerstört das ganze Ambiente.

Ein wirklich liebevoll gestalteter Bar/Restaurant Bereich. Die Speisen waren auf hohem Niveau. Die Preise sind mal passend mal weniger passend. Das Service Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Musik ist mal stimmig mal weniger stimmig und erinnert teils an Fahrstuhlmusik. An alle die Nachtische mögen, probiert unbedingt die salty Brownies… ein wirklicher Genuss!

Cresco was recommended to me because I hadn't been to Frankfurt for a few years. I was greeted with warm hospitality and my suitcase was taken into custody in the afternoon (!) When I showed up for dinner, I and my guest were greeted by name like friends and well served. The ambience is elegant without frills and offers space for privacy. The service is accurate and the food is fusion with different influences; My halibut was juicy and tasty and seasoned with saffron, the starter of chanterelles with apricots and asparagus was really delicious. Recommended!!!

My husband and I were able to host our small but lovely wedding celebration with around 20 people at Cresco on May 23rd, 2024. We were completely thrilled by the service, the individually put together menu and the drinks. Simone looked after the guests and us so lovingly in an upscale yet relaxed atmosphere. David the restaurant manager and the kitchen crew organized it wonderfully. We even had our own area where we could develop freely. This day will remain a positive memory for everyone. Centrally located, beautiful restaurant/bar in a cozy industrial style. Service friendly and not intrusive. David the restaurant manager is always open to requests. Casual yet upscale atmosphere. Great appetizer and signature selection. Wedding dinner is planned :) Addendum to the wedding: In short, PERFECTLY organized and far exceeded expectations regarding the food.

It's worth a visit, but we wouldn't visit Cresco a second time. Or let's put it this way, the cocktails taste great and an evening with cocktails and appetizers would be perfect at Cresco. But the main course didn't convince us. The location is very good, the service is friendly and attentive.

It's a great place for small plates. It's kind of like tapas but with a Mediterranean flare. Very, very good food!! The price per person is skewed as I had a bottle of wine and an aperitif with my meal, and my wife and I ordered the tasting menu!! Great recommendation from our server!!

Modern gastro experience right in the FFM city center. Cool concept of fusion food blending different cuisines. The menu is indeed interesting with a good choice of vegetarian options too. The dishes are perfect to be shared and are all delicious. The staff was a bit absent on the day we were there so we had to wait a couple of times to ask for something. But overall, great experience!

First of all, it should be mentioned that the service was nice, the atmosphere was nice and the background music was very pleasant. A very big BUT. The prices for the food are absolutely unjustified. Far too expensive for such small portions, which wouldn't be worth 5 stars in terms of taste. I had the chicken with bulgur for 28 euros and out of curiosity the starter bagel for 3 euros. It came dry baked without a dip, cream cheese or a bit of butter. Unfortunately, the skin of the chicken was limp and the chicken had too much fat for me. So I wasn't full and I wasn't impressed with the taste either. I don't even want to start with the prices of the drinks. Unfortunately, I don't recommend this restaurant.

We went to Cresco Frankfurt for the first time on Saturday April 6th, it's just a great restaurant. I was very impressed by the store. The atmosphere is simply great. The combination of friendly staff, comfortable furnishings and delicious food is ideal. Just right for us. The manager was very friendly and had a positive attitude. He was always ready to answer our questions and make sure we weren't missing anything. His warm manner contributed significantly to making us feel at home here. Thanks so much

Delicious and creative dishes are served here. We chose the 4-course menu and felt like we were served every dish on the menu. We were offered so many delicacies that we didn't manage to finish them all. It was super tasty and the service was great too. The prices are already high for normal earners. You can treat yourself to it, but for a good occasion rather than just because.

From the warm welcome to taking the order, everything was top notch. We decided on the 4-course menu and thus got a cross-section of the entire menu. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted wonderfully seasoned. Including an aperitif, water, wine and coffee, it also has its price. We will also just come by and eat individual courses from the menu. The atmosphere is in a nice industrial style, which we like.

Our visit to Cresco was probably what one understands by a "quick number" or the old "get in and out game": Our stay including cocktails, main course and dessert (shared) lasted 45 minutes - I have already found myself in many McDonald's branch felt less handled. So short and sweet: Cocktails were ok, the main course and dessert were of high quality. My beef fillet was barely lukewarm - despite the warm plate - but it was perfectly done and had a great crust. Maybe that was really intentional with serving it almost cold. I didn't like it that much. We found the dessert mmmmm delicious, enough for two and...expensive. The service was very friendly and obliging, but not intrusive - that is not a given. We really liked the style of the Cresco as an industrial workshop. The decoration, the tables and chairs are tastefully combined. Since the open pipes are covered with insulating material, the sound level is comparatively pleasant despite the stone walls and the ceiling height of a workshop. Overall, we would have felt very comfortable if... yes, if we hadn't had that "don't artificially prolong your stay" impression when we were drinking cocktails, eating or at least after dessert. Very uncomfortable... The motto "The whole is more than its individual parts" takes on a whole new meaning after our visit to Cresco: the overall rating is less than the rating of the individual parts. Despite 4 stars for decent food, beautiful surroundings and good service, we couldn't enjoy our stay at Cresco. A new experience for us, a shame.

A very nice and modern restaurant, the acoustics are pleasant, you can have a relaxed conversation. The chic designer chairs look great, but are very uncomfortable. The food was brought quickly and was appetizing, only the hummus was a bit bland. The service can definitely be improved, we often had empty glasses and had to signal to the waiter that we would like to order, we would probably have ordered a lot more - quite inattentive for such an atmosphere.

On February 14th we had a beautifully decorated table in CRESCO. The reception was very friendly and personable. The waiters were friendly. After deciding on the recommended menu, we quickly had our welcome drink. After a reasonable amount of time we also had the first of four courses. Hummus, labneh and a sweet potato cream with tagine were placed on the table. There was also a sesame ring and baguette. Our favorite was the labneh with beetroot. The other two “dips” were rather average and only a shallow start to the evening. After the first course was cleared away, we were made to wait an hour before the warm starters arrived. I have to say that the wait wasn't worth it. Roasted eggplant, tuna and burrata were served. The tuna was cold, the eggplant was good and the burrata was no longer creamy. After the disappointment of the first two courses was over, the main course came. What was served was US roast beef, cod and cauliflower. All dishes were lukewarm at best. Unfortunately the taste is not worth mentioning either. The cod was over-fried, the US roast beef was tough and the cauliflower was seasoned very sparingly. After the waitress had heard all the criticisms, they offered to try again. However, since we had waited 2.5 hours after receiving the starter for the main course, we declined this offer. We were offered a coffee on the house. For dessert: Dessert consists of a chocolate brownie with salted caramel ice cream. The ice cream was delicious, the brownie was ok. Conclusion: The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a nice ambience. The service is nice but hectic. In my opinion, the kitchen is very expandable. For a “Levantine-Mediterranean cuisine” we were very disappointed here. We don't think the price-performance ratio is right here and we can't recommend this restaurant for dining.

Alles in allem hat das Restaurant gut gefallen. Gutes Ambiente und toller sevice. Passt sowie für Paare als auch für die größeren Gesellschaften. Mann muss aber bereit sein überdurchschnittlich zu zahlen.

Wir waren zum vierten Mal im schönen Cresco. Das Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich und das Essen waren auch dieses Mal se lecker. Das das vegetarische Menü innerhalb 2 Monaten ganze 6€ teurer wurde ist echt heftig und ist wohl u.a. der gestiegenen Mwst. zuzurechnen. Das aber zusätzlich die Portionen kleiner geworden sind (besonders auffällig beim Dessert, was im Nov. in zwei Schälchen serviert wurde, kam diesmal in einem) empfinde ich als doppelte Preiseehöhung. Schade, denn das Cresco ist ein tolles Restaurant mit sehr schönem Ambiente und die Speisen sind ausgefallen und sehr lecker.

Wir waren zum ersten mal da und werden sicher in Zukunft wieder kommen. Sehr schönes außergewöhnliches local. Wir wurden top von Kellner bedient und der Service dazu sehr freundlich. Sehr freundliches Personal wo man das Gefühl hatte, sie bedienen gerne ihre Gäste, vielen Dank für die Mühe. Das Essen war sehr lecker und dazu noch sehr schön eingerichtet. Für uns war es ein toller und leckerer Abend wo wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben, vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal.

Sehr lange Wartezeiten zwischen den Gängen. Tische standen sehr dicht zusammen.

We finally did it and it was worth it! The ambience/decor is urban/trendy and our taste, the food is absolutely delicious and the service is courteous - gladly again!

Ein ingesamt guter Eindruck wurde durch einen offensichtlichen Personalmangel im Service getrübt, wobei unsere Bedienung sehr freundlich und bemüht war.

Wir waren an einem Montag Abend. Leider unaufmerksamer Service, obwohl Lokal halbleer. Premium priced, da sollte so etwas nicht passieren…

Fantastic restaurant with great fusion cuisine. The restaurant could also be in London or Paris. We chose the sharing menu and every course was a pleasure. There are no pictures because we are enjoying the moment. The wine list also makes you curious, as wines from the Golan Heights are also offered to match the Levantine cuisine. Compliments to the team. For us it belonged to the category of the first, but not the last time.

Mega ambience. We just drank wine. It wasn't bad.

TERRIBLE service (had to wait 45 minutes for the bill after asking for it), waiter was taking shots as we were waiting for the bill, and the food is great but not worth it unless you get the full-course meals for €100

Wunderbare, angenehme Atmosphäre. Nicht zu laut, sodass man sich unterhalten und gegenseitug hören kann, zugleich doch auch lebhaft. Kellner wusste sehr gut über die Menu- und Getränkekarte und konnte gut beraten. Das Esser war sehr lecker, hatte frisch geschmeckt und war auch appetitlich serviert. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und komme gerne wieder.
