The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, chic, modern, yet relaxed and unpretentious. A very nice combination.

Friendly service and an unusual selection of dishes

I wasn’t much of a fan of their menu. Most dishes were overly complicated and the Merlot of flavors didn’t mix well according to my tastes.

The location is truly beautiful, and our first server was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the server changed several times throughout the evening. Our group ordered the set menu, but also individual appetizers and main courses. After the appetizer, we waited 1.5 hours for the main course, which then didn't arrive at the same time, so some people had already eaten while others were still waiting. Our meal from the set menu was already cold, and the portions for sharing (set menu for two) were much smaller than if everyone had ordered their own main course. And for dessert, instead of having different options, everyone at the table was simply served the same dessert, even though no one else had ordered one. We had the impression that the service was very disorganized. Overall, we paid twice as much as the others for the set menu, but received much smaller portions and a cold main course. Pointing this out to the waiter only resulted in a shrug. Conclusion: A great start, a sharp decline, and the price-performance ratio is completely unacceptable.

Very expensive, the service was extremely slow. We waited 45–50 minutes for our food. A very rude waiter served us and her attitude was mocking and disrespectful.

We arrived at the restaurant on Saturday evening, looking forward to a pleasant evening. We waited for 10 minutes at the entrance and were ignored by the staff milling about. When we were finally seated with a menu, which was thrust into our hands as we were leaving, we ignored the wait for another 25 minutes, even though we were sitting right next to the service station. We then left. A real shame for such a highly-rated restaurant…

Service was unbelievably horrible, we could not believe how slow the service and sloppy the food. People were also so rude, they had no idea how to do their job and had no idea was fusion cuisine should be. Do not recommend, you can find so many other good places in Frankfurt

Unfortunately, the corn-fed chicken was cold and didn't taste good at all; it was overcooked and hard to chew. The appetizers were good, and they even provided gluten-free bread rolls upon request. Some drinks took a long time to arrive or were forgotten. The location is great!

There were ten of us at Cresco today for Sunday brunch, and we were all thrilled with the friendly, attentive service and the excellent food! We had a wide variety of dishes, all of which were absolutely delicious! From various hot and cold appetizers to several main courses and two desserts. The food was more than ample, everything was incredibly fresh, and prepared with a certain finesse. It's nothing like other brunches where you often get standard fare. The price, which might seem a bit high at first, is more than justified. For us, it was a thoroughly enjoyable morning/lunch. Highly recommended for parties, birthdays, special occasions, or simply for a romantic Sunday start. A big thank you again to the two servers and the team in the kitchen!

Cresco is an absolute gem in Frankfurt! The food was incredibly delicious — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. There's a small but good selection of dishes. Everything was truly delicious! The combination of the different components is very well-suited. However, the portion sizes are designed so that you'll eat several courses to feel full. Our dishes were brought to us quickly, but otherwise, the service was rather slow.

Cresco scores highly with its beautiful ambiance and atmospheric lighting – the setting is definitely appealing. Culinary-wise, however, the food falls short of expectations: For Levantine cuisine, the dishes are rather mediocre, lacking in flavor, and overpriced. You can find much better alternatives in this segment in Frankfurt. The wine wasn't well chilled, and the selection was uninspiring. The service overall seemed unbalanced – sometimes friendly, sometimes unfortunately rather listless and inattentive. It's a shame, because the restaurant has potential. However, it's not a place we would visit again.

We went to Cresco for brunch on Sunday. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly service. The food is really plentiful and good! To give it a 5-star rating, I think the food is a bit lacking in uniqueness, but that's just my personal taste. Overall, it's good and definitely worth a try to see if it's for you.

I was disappointed with the watermelon tadaki—just a few slices of tuna and some watermelon, that's all it was. For the burrata dish, you pay €18, but you really only get the burrata without anything else. Unfortunately, the value for money isn't there at all.

The food and cocktails were absolutely fantastic and tasted amazing. The waitress (Alexandra) was very attentive and served us superbly. All in all, a lovely evening. See you soon.

The food is delicious, and my meal was truly well-composed. The service is friendly and professional. It's clean and tidy. The excellent design immediately catches your eye, making you feel comfortable. The restaurant is thoughtfully decorated and atmospheric.

While in Frankfurt we stumbled upon this restaurant and it was like finding a treasure! We enjoyed the chef’s tasting menu which offered a sampling of many of the courses. This is Mediterranean food at a level beyond your imagination!

Overpriced and not very good. 1st the 20 minute wait for a glass of wine. The server apologized and indicated that they were short stafffed. My wife and stepdaughter had the 45 Euro Flank Steak. It was described as "flavorless" so it flunked. I had the Turbot which can be described as "Turbo cooled". Lukewarm at best. We drove all the way from Wiesbaden to try this place because the ratings were so good. Very disappointing. Should have had a Doner plate and saved 200 Euro.

Cresco löscht bei Google schlechte Bewertungen!! Wir waren im März zum ersten Mal im Cresco und wurden insgesamt leider enttäuscht. Das Ambiente und die Akustik sind erstaunlich gut für die Größe des Restaurants, aber das war fast schon das Positivste. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber den Preis absolut nicht wert. Wir hatten das Sharing-Menü für 89 € pro Person und waren insgesamt zu sechst. Was vor allem gefehlt hat war ein guter Service. Das Personal war zwar freundlich, aber für den Preis, den man am Ende dort bezahlt (~700 €), hat leider viel an Qualität gefehlt. Ich erwarte, dass man zu Beginn des Besuchs in das Konzept des Restaurants und der Küche eingeführt wird, mögliche Varianten bei der Auswahl des Essens erklärt bekommt und das Sharing-Menü genauer erläutert wird. Nichts davon ist passiert. Stattdessen wurde das Essen serviert und kurz und knapp erklärt, jedoch mit dem Gefühl, dass wir wissen müssten, was wir vor uns haben. Auch dass die Teller und das Besteck für drei Gänge nicht gewechselt werden, hätte man im Vorfeld erklären können. Dies geschah beim Hauptgang dann auf unsere Bitte hin, mit dem Kommentar, dass dies ja nur auf Gästewunsch passieren würde und wir beim nächsten Mal früher Bescheid geben sollten, da der Hauptgang soeben serviert wurde und wir nun warten müssten. Das ist nicht unsere Schuld und hätte, wie gesagt, mit einer vorherigen Erklärung vermieden werden können. Schade. Die Jacken, die uns zu Beginn freundlicherweise abgenommen wurden, mussten wir uns am Ende selbst holen. Das ist zwar nicht schlimm, betont aber nochmals den unzureichenden Service. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat leider nicht überzeugt und wir würden nicht wiederkommen.

Preisleistung stimmt nicht, Akustik ist störend, Service ist schlecht. Meine Bewertungen auf Google werden dauernd gelöscht und als Diffamierung gekennzeichnet. Einfach lächerlich

We spent our anniversary here today and were very impressed by Ahmed's excellent service, always at the table at the right time without being intrusive! The food was truly delicious, with every course... The family-style sharing menu was great for trying everything! Thank you so much! We'll be back!

The Cresco...the food is truly phenomenal! Very high standard, superb quality, and interpreted with a great deal of surprise. No dish was boring. Unfortunately, I have to say the service today was very poor. Remember, we're sitting in a restaurant where a main course of beef costs €45...the service has to be more than 20 minutes to order drinks, another 20 minutes to take food orders, and after the appetizers arrived, no one was interested in our table anymore. I'm sorry, but with 6-7 people serving and these prices, I expect the service to be of the same high standard as the food. Please focus more on the guests to make the visit to Cresco truly unforgettable and unique. We'd be happy to come back 😉

Wir hatten uns gegen das Sharing Menü entschieden und hatten Pulpo, Tartar, Skrei und Hähnchen. Alles war äußerst lecker und teilweise hatten wir das in den aufgetischten Kombinationen noch nicht so gegessen - es war alles äußerst lecker und sehr fein gekocht. Die Getränke und Service eine 5/5. Die Location sehr cool gestaltet im Loft Look. Eine Empfehlung!

The dishes were not flavorful and some were too salty. A dish even has to be exchanged for an alternative. The portions are relatively small and the quality is not outstanding either. Overall, a nice atmosphere with friendly but not attentive service. For example, the empty glass from the aperitif wasn't cleared away until the end, no bread was offered, the dishes weren't really preheated and you sometimes had to wait almost an hour for the next course. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here is not at all right.

Mäßig, Mäßig, Mäßig! Quantität, Qualität! Preise hoch, leider kein Gourmet Restaurant . Monitone laute Musik. Die Gastronomen wollen sicherlich mit nicht hochwertigen Produkten (essen, Weine) schnell viel Geld verdienen. Mal sehen wie lange es dieses Restaurant noch gibt.

We went to Cresco for the first time today and were unfortunately disappointed overall. The ambience and acoustics are surprisingly good for the size of the restaurant, but that was almost the most positive thing. The food was ok but absolutely not worth the price. We had the sharing menu for €89 per person and there were six of us in total.

What was missing above all was good service. The staff was friendly, but for the price you end up paying there (~700€), there was unfortunately a lot of quality missing. I expect that at the beginning of the visit you will be introduced to the concept of the restaurant and the kitchen, possible options for choosing the food will be explained and the sharing menu will be explained in more detail. None of that happened. Instead, the food was served and explained succinctly, but with the feeling that we needed to know what we were facing.

 The fact that the plates and cutlery are not changed for three courses could also have been explained in advance. This happened for the main course at our request, with the comment that this would only happen at the request of the guests and that we should let us know earlier next time because the main course had just been served and we would now have to wait. This is not our fault and, as I said, could have been avoided with a prior explanation. Too bad.

 At the end we had to get the jackets that were kindly taken from us at the beginning. That's not a bad thing, but it once again emphasizes the inadequate service. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio was not convincing and we would not come back.

The ambience is nice, but unfortunately that's the only thing. Not good service, food ok but nothing special. Too expensive for what you get. Price not justified.

We sat at a table that wobbled completely, the service was inexperienced, the menu wasn't explained, the wine was simply poured carelessly into the glass - the bottle wasn't even shown. Overall, unfortunately very disappointing. It's unclear where the reviews come from. Probably a lot of business people from abroad who just submit the invoice anyway. On Friday evening only 1/4 of the restaurant was occupied, now we know why...

A wonderful evening, there were two of us and we had a la carte. The food was absolutely top class in terms of quality and quantity. The service staff was super friendly. The price is high, but is completely acceptable for the overall package. Clear recommendation!

Amazing dining place. The waiters are incredibly attentive and professional. They're really good at what they do. Keep in mind that it is a fine dining place. If you want to stuff your face, this is not the place for you, but if you are after good taste, it is one of the best places in Frankfurt. Naturally, it is a bit more expensive than normal restaurants, but for this location the prices are very reasonable.

The sharing menu and the service were not convincing… The menu (€89/person) consists of smaller versions of the a la carte dishes. It's just a shame that the dishes are slightly similar (e.g. both fish dishes decorated with pickled ginger, vegetable dishes with pomegranate and coriander). When it came to the Tuna dish, we also thought it was a shame that there were 3 slices for 2 people - why not 4 (or another even number)? A la carte would have been a better choice for us. We would have received the same style and a good impression of the kitchen and probably at a better price-performance ratio. Unfortunately, the service gave the impression of being overwhelmed and inexperienced. Plates from the sharing dishes were cleared away - but the rest of the dishes that were no longer needed, including empty cocktail glasses and water bottles, were not. Unfortunately, the service doesn't like to speak complete sentences to its guests. Before dessert, a “COFFEE???!” was thrown at us as we passed. The bar and furnishings left a positive impression - but that's not why we're coming back. You can find better alternatives in this price range.

The kitchen can do something, all the dishes we tried were very good. Delicious combinations, beautifully presented. So it's not exactly cheap, but we found the prices to be quite reasonable. The problem was the service. Everyone was visibly trying, but it took 30 minutes to order something - our table was almost a whole meter away from the ordering terminal and bar counter. The barman prepares 1 aperitif quickly, which then stands for a good 20 minutes until the other 3 drinks are ready. In any case, the “Spritz” in the name evaporated. In the end there was a very cold orange juice in the elegant glass for €14. It doesn't help if the service team ends up saying that the whole team is new. The saying could have been credible when ordering...

The restaurant initially impresses with its modern, stylish ambience, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. However, the tables are a bit narrow, which can affect comfort. The wine list is highly praised by the service manager, but ultimately falls short of expectations - I would have liked more variety here. The food is good, some dishes are even very good, but the portions (tapas style) are relatively small and the prices are clearly excessive for the quantity and quality offered. What was particularly noticeable was that some dishes were very similar in taste, especially the frequently used ingredients such as pomegranate, peanuts or lentils. For the price I would have expected more variety and individuality in the flavors. Overall a nice experience, but for what is on offer I find the price-performance ratio rather disappointing.

Great atmosphere, but some tables are rather less comfortable. Overall, the food is very good, but the combination of one or two dishes is a bit questionable: Burrata with lime and vanilla sounds good, but it only fits halfway - the acidity and sweetness are so pronounced that you can't actually taste any of the burrata . This dish is also a prototype for the overall relatively poor price/performance ratio. 18 euros for a really tiny portion is not acceptable even in downtown Frankfurt. What was particularly disappointing during our visit was the service: everyone was nice, but we had to wait forever for almost everything, asking questions and complaining. Too bad.

This is a quality restaurant on Berlinerstrasse in Frankfurt. Environs are urban and modern fill with nice ambience making it a good venue for a evening with friends, work colleagues, family and date nights. Opening hours are 6pm to 11 or 12pm nightly. Reservations can be made in advance. We dined during midweek just after 6.30pm and were able to be seated with ease on a walk-in basis. Menu features a nice range of starters, share style servings, mains and desserts including vegetarian options as well. On the evening we enjoyed everything served. Tuna tataki with a whipped avocado with wasabi was ok, hummus and pita was as expected, Aubergine with curry sauce and almond tasted rather nice, grilled octopus was very good. Really enjoyed the environs of Cresco. Service was friendly and timely, dishes were presentable and tasted pretty good on the whole. We'd gladly dine here again during future trips to Frankfurt based on this experience.

Este es un restaurante de calidad en Berlinerstrasse en Frankfurt. Los ambientes son urbanos y modernos llenos de un ambiente agradable, por lo que es un buen lugar para una noche con amigos, colegas de trabajo, familiares y noches de citas. El horario de apertura es de 6 pm a 11 o 12 pm todas las noches. Las reservas se pueden hacer con antelación. Cenamos a mitad de semana justo después de las 6. 30 pm y fueron capaces de sentarse con facilidad en un paseo - en base. El menú cuenta con una buena gama de entrantes, porciones de estilo compartido, platos principales y postres, incluidas opciones vegetarianas. Por la noche disfrutamos de todo servido. El tataki de atún con aguacate batido con wasabi estaba bien, el hummus y la pita era lo esperado, la berenjena con salsa de curry y almendra sabía bastante bien, el pulpo a la parrilla estaba muy bien. Realmente disfruté de los alrededores de Cresco. El servicio fue amable y oportuno, los platos eran presentables y sabían bastante bien en general. Estaremos encantados de cenar aquí de nuevo durante futuros viajes a Frankfurt basados en esta experiencia.

Service war freundlich und bemüht - aber überfordert. Dir Sitzplätze sind weitläufig verteilt, wir wurden daher oft übersehen und mussten oft winken oder rufen. Die Vorspeisen waren gut, die Hauptspeisen, insbesondere das Huhn war nur mittelmäßig, leider eher fad. Die geäußerte Kritik wurde allerdings professionell aufgenommen. Preislich sehr ambitioniert- für unser Erlebnis nicht angemessen.

Lassen wir uns mit dem Guten beginnen: das Essen ist wirklich lecker! Wir hatten das Chefs Menu für € 89 p.P. und ausnahmslos Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Man bekommt eine fast komplette Übersicht über alles, was die Küche produziert. Sehr gut abgeschmeckt und - meist - auch schön präsentiert. Einziges Manko vielleicht: die Portionen sind insgesamt - zumindest für uns - etwas zu groß geraten. Aber darüber muß man sich nicht beschweren. Preisgestaltung auch bei den Getränken ambitioniert (Wasser € 9,50, ein kleines Bier € 4,50). Und jetzt zum Negativen: das Lokal war an einem Samstagabend ziemlich ausgebucht (und es ist groß). Der Service war damit heillos überfordert. Ein seit drei Tagen agierender Restaurantmanager versuchte, so gut es ging alles zusammen zu halten, aber mit bescheidenem Erfolg. Er war offensichtlich der Einzige, der das Menu erklären, die Bestellung aufnehmen, den Wein eingießen etc. konnte/durfte. Das übrige Personal war, wie uns erklärt wurde, ungelernte Aushilfen, die wirklich nicht wußten, was sie taten. Offensichtlich war auch die Küche angesichts der Vielzahl der Gäste überfordert und manchmal kam Viertelstundenweise keinerlei neues Essen an irgendeinen Platz. So dauerten vier Gänge gut drei Stunden mit quälend langen Pausen. Bestellte Getränke kamen nach ca. 30 Minuten. Man versicherte uns, das sich das ändern werde und man neues Personal einstellen wolle. Aber solange ich da nicht sicher bin, werden wir erst einmal nicht mehr in das Cresco gehen - Schade.

The sharing dinner is perfect for dinner with several people. The atmosphere was quiet so it was easy to have a conversation. The service was also excellent and catered to all requests. We were completely satisfied and would come back at any time 😊

We had dinner at Cresco today for my husband's birthday and got the menu. A large selection of different dishes. Everything is very deliciously seasoned, very cleverly combined, so that the consistency, taste, etc. come together perfectly. As a starter there was bread with various dips (whipped feta is my clear favorite!). In the second course we had tuna, burrata, eggplant and sweet potato. The main course is US beef, cauliflower and salmon. Very very tasty! I can highly recommend the brownie for dessert! We shared everything, which was nice to really connect and share a common experience. In addition to the very creative food, the service here is also incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. We had a lovely evening and would love to come back!

Cresco in Frankfurt is not only a foodie's delight, but also incredibly dog-friendly! The modern, stylish atmosphere of the restaurant creates a great ambience, and the menu is a feast for the senses - creative, fresh and first-class in taste. What is particularly noteworthy is how warmly our dog was received. There was even a small water bowl and lots of attention from the staff. Overall, the service was attentive and friendly, which made the evening perfect. For anyone who enjoys good food and wants to bring their four-legged friend along, Cresko is a fantastic choice. We had a customer evening at CRESCO. It's nice how David and Matti think for themselves! Our premise was that we eat well and do so in a vibe where we can have a good conversation with our customers. We chose the flying dinner concept, where the dishes are served in small portions. The kitchen had selected a suitable wine for each dish, making it an excellent food and wine pairing. This worked perfectly! The food was varied and high quality. Our customers and we really enjoyed it. We still hear positive comments from our customers. Gladly again and highly recommended! Eine orientalische frische leckere Küche die alle Sinne anspricht! Eine offene Küche mit großem Pass lädt zum Staunen ein! Hier klappt alles wie am Schnürchen! Die Gerichte kommen fast ein wenig zu schnell auf den Tisch! Die 4 Gänge sind super abgestimmt aber die Menge ist auch ordentlich! Allerdings kann man auch einfach einen Gang weglassen. Das Ambiente wirkt spannend eine großzügige industrielle Einrichtung die trotzdem eine gewisse Wärme ausstrahlt! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wieder kommen. Der Service wirkt manchmal etwas konfus aber am Ende kommt alles richtig an und man ist sehr bemüht und vor allem sehr zuvorkommend!

Wir sind oft essen in verschieden Restaurants, aber leider in diesem Restaurant war der Service echt miserabel. Das ist gut und das Ambiente auch aber das Cresco sollte überlegen ein neues Kellner Team einstellen. Keine fragt nochmal nach ob wir noch was trinken wollten, es wird nicht richtig abgeräumt die Kellner wissen nicht über das Essen von der Menü Karte Bescheid . Ein guter Service macht auch nochmal das Essen besser , also Essen echt Top Service katastrophal

Unfortunately, the bass is so loud late into the night that you can't sleep over it in Motel One. Too bad.

Sweet and savory 'fusion' cuisine with a search for original textures and flavors. But ultimately not very filling from my point of view.
