Just yesterday I had dinner there with my father and since we were both so pleasantly surprised, I just have to write a review. The restaurant is very cozy and has a totally pleasant atmosphere. The ambience is really cozy and fits the atmosphere and you really feel totally welcome. But the real highlight is the food: We both had mixed platters and they were extremely tasty. I haven't eaten something so tasty and authentic in a long time. It is perfectly seasoned and cooked with love, and you can tell that in every single bite. Finally we had dessert and homemade chai. Both were outstanding and rounded off the evening perfectly. Vegetarians and vegans will also be more than happy here, so I highly recommend it to anyone who has a taste for absolutely delicious food. The owner is also super friendly, accommodating and attentive. Afterwards I have to say that I was more than thrilled and that I haven't eaten something so tasty in a long time! Very, very big recommendation

Sehr schöne Location und Einrichtung im Zentrum von Mannheim. Super Service und auf alle Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Leckeres und feines Essen bei dem alles auf den Punkt ist. Tolle Gerichte und für jeden ist etwas dabei. Kreative Kombinationen und geschmacklich alles sehr gut abgestimmt.

MiKenzo offers an amazing sushi experience with incredibly fresh ingredients. The spicy tuna was my favourite. The staff is attentive. If I ever find myself back in Ulm, I will definitely visit MiKenzo again.

It was a celebration for us. Welcomed and accompanied by a completely unobtrusive but always attentive service, we began our journey through the 'DJNGL'. The culinary journey began with the greeting from the kitchen, which was quite 'neutral' in terms of taste (that will remain the only criticism of the evening), but was visually convincing. As a shareable aperitif, on the recommendation of the house, we had the Crispy dreams - croquettes filled with osso buco on a light curry cream with a homemade chimi-churri - dream. We continued with Fallow's Carrots and Modern Caprese, both of which were more than successful interpretations of classic appetizers. In the main course we had Cauliflower in the Wild and - as expected - Flank with smashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. Here, the cauliflower with cous cous and tahini in particular was a true taste explosion of the most pleasant kind. But the meat and side dishes were also convincing across the board - thank you very much for the perfect degree of cooking on the flank. (Small request from the meat junkie: I would simply take the cooking level 'well done' off the menu, because that's a shame for the product. But that's an individual opinion, I know. ;) ) Actually, there was no more room for dessert, but it just had to be: So I had the Brownie of the Gods and Creme Brûlée and continued to feast. Unsurprisingly, the menu ended with excitement and we made our way back to the hotel, full of food and happy. Thanks for a fantastic evening to the DJNGL team and my wonderful company. :)

Impressively charming restaurant. Rustic chic mixed with stylish elements, enveloped in a warm room climate, roaring fireplace, homely decoration. The service is absolutely attentive, but never intrusive. Good wine recommendations but also non-alcoholic drinks can be mixed on request and they kindly offer not only water and juice spritzers as alternatives. The food is regional, well thought out and surprises with tasty details. All in all, clear recommendation. Reservations are advisable.

The restaurant is nice, the location is good. Unfortunately we found the food a bit boring and the service seemed absent and inattentive. We would certainly have ordered more to drink, but none came and came.

Really a shame. The poor organization in the kitchen and service is noticeable. Empty glasses are ignored, food takes a long time, service is difficult to understand, some glasses are broken and are not sorted out (risk of injury!), the floor bulges in some places, and the toilet is hygienically substandard.
