Immediately assigned a seat and brought a menu, after less than 3 minutes got a fantastic pho gã, with a Very Berry drink it came to a perfect 18€, really perfect!

The food was delicious and fresh. I was very surprised by everything.

Overall, it's just ok. The menu is quite limited and the portions could definitely be more generous for the price. That said, the food was tasty and cooked well. I was hoping to see more creativity in terms of the fusion, the dish choice was limited so it would have been nice to see more interpretations of Vietnamese cuisine, Thai cuisine and perhaps Burmese cuisine. The service was friendly and polite, but I had problems understanding them at times. The spoken German was pretty bad to be fair. To sum up, it's just ok, especially if you are used to Wagamama's and other similar fusion restaurants.

Truly delicious and high-quality food – highly recommended! The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. One small downside: When it's busy, the wait times can be quite long, so it's best to allow some time. A tip for lunchtime: Make sure you order from the lunch menu. Two of my companions had the lunch menu once and the same dish à la carte once – the portions were almost identical, but the price was almost 50% higher. When asked, the only response was: "There's a little extra on the regular order." We found that a bit unclear. Nevertheless: If you appreciate good food, you'll generally be in good hands here.

The restaurant was full so a table reservation was required. We often visit other Asian restaurants and therefore have a solid basis for evaluating them. In total, we spent 80 minutes in the restaurant on a Saturday evening. Starter, main course (large sushi plate) and drinks were served quickly and attractively. Despite the restaurant being full, the atmosphere was pleasant and not too loud. The sushi was fresh and the portions were very large and the starter was great. We can fully recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back. We cannot understand the negative reviews regarding the illegibility of the menu and the dark light or the service. All food was fresh and served quickly. The menu also has a larger selection, but it makes sense.

Reserved days ago! Wanting to celebrate my 40th birthday and Valentine's Day at the same time. Drove from Rastatt to Karlsruhe. I saw the queue from afar and after a short conversation with those waiting, I realized that everyone had reserved but the shop was completely full. Dear Taumi Karlsruhe, I'll never come back! You are the last one! Ruined my birthday and my wife's Valentine's Day. I have worked in the catering industry for over 10 years in many restaurants. I've never experienced anything like this anywhere! Here, walk-in customers were granted entry in order to give a clear message to the guests who made the effort to reserve in time. A customer who calls and makes a reservation is from this point onwards my guest! Today you all showed us your true colors. The only thing that counts is the sales, they don't give a shit who generates them! People avoid this store! And invest your money in innkeepers who appreciate it and are actually happy about your visit and appreciate that you have made the effort to make a reservation.

3 hour wait on Valentine's Day We made a reservation at 8 p.m. and were there 10 minutes beforehand. When we arrived we found a 10m queue with at least 30 people. After 45 minutes of waiting in the cold, we were brought to our place. Drinks and appetizers came relatively quickly. But you have to say that the dirty table wasn't cleaned and the card was brought to us after we asked twice, as was the cutlery. We thought the food would come soon, but we thought wrong We waited 3 hours for our food and were very upset about the portions. We won't be coming back any time soon

We had a confirmed reservation but were still told we had to wait. After that, we were informed that they were out of sushi. Totally unprofessional!

Very, very tasty food and nice service. A lamp above our table was out, so it was a bit dark at the window. And that's probably what happened to another table, which is why we were slightly blinded by another guest's cell phone light. But matcha ice cream made everything okay again. 5/5

I've been there twice now. I think the atmosphere is nice and the service is very nice, but in my opinion you get very small portions for the price and the taste is not great. My friends didn't get enough of his plates even though it's on the expensive side in comparison. But everyone has their own opinion - I would recommend taking a look for yourself, some people really like it here. :)

We've been there for dinner several times. A few years ago we were thrilled and it started after Corona time, food bad, service unfriendly, like a check-in snack bar. A few days ago we were there again, in short: we will never pay for such bad food again. Taumi lost. The sushi was mini, the plates were carelessly decorated and it tasted nothing. Drinks are overly sugary and if we still think about cleanliness... never again! Sorry, we used to love being there, but I don't spend my money here anymore!

Bad smell in the restaurant. Food was good. Unfortunately one wrong food was not the one ordered. Same problem at the table next to us. But they quickly made a new one.

The food was terrible. I ordered the reis noodles with spring rolls and it was the worst thing I’ve had in ages. Everything seemed to be super old deep fried, terrible mix of flavors with sauces, and when I told the waitress it didn’t taste good, she didn’t care. Billig, Schrott, pre made sauce, furchtbar. The ambiance is nice but the food is terrible.

What wonderfully fresh sushi, lots of choice and original presentation. The four of us took a menu for 75 euros. The huge crunchy roll with salmon was especially delicious! Highly recommended.

Nice restaurant. The sushi we had was good. However, the service left a lot to be desired. There were two more tables with us. When we got the cards, the waitress took more than 20 minutes to take our order. During the meal, no waitress even came to us to ask if everything was okay. Our drinks had been empty for a long time and we wanted to have dessert, but the waitresses seemed to have no interest in generating sales.

I have been here several times and I have seen a bit of a decline. Food is average when compared to other asian food restaurants in the city. The tables and chairs are dirty or broken and you can see spider webs on the corners. Taken all that into account, the restaurant is actually kind of expensive. Sushi looks incredible and cocktails too but I never had any of that so maybe I'm missing out. Has potential but needs to polish several things.

Overall unfortunately disappointing. The food (Pho Bo and Mango Curry) was good and the price-performance ratio too. The service was friendly and the food came quickly. But that was it. The ambience here is really only 1 star. You couldn't read menus. Dirty seats and otherwise very untidy, music system had a malfunction with constant hissing. In the entrance area when you enter the restaurant there are full ashtrays everywhere. Really not inviting. We won't go there again.

The food was delicious and served in such a way that you could decide for yourself whether you wanted to add certain ingredients or leave them out depending on how you liked it. I really liked that because I personally don't want the intense taste of the lemon grass in the dish too much that could vary so beautifully. The milk glasses for drinks are very modern, but when you use them it is always nice to add ice or herbs or something else that makes them an eye-catcher and not just with cocktails. It's not a must, but as a customer it looks sad and listless when you get it. Service is poor, you are brought to the table quite pleasantly, but afterwards the waitress's attention is weak. We waited a long time before we were even allowed to order something to drink and if there are a lot of empty glasses on the table you still wait a long time until you are asked if you would like something more to drink. (Maybe some training would be appropriate here to get more in touch with customers) Menus are very worn out (could be replaced) Nevertheless, I would like to come visit you again and hope that something has changed and I can only say positive things. ☺️👍

Unfortunately that was nothing. Although the restaurant is very nicely decorated, it simply lacks almost everything else. The food was very average, with outliers, for example brown and soggy salad. A really good restaurant would sort something like this out. There was also a waitress who made it clear that she wasn't really keen on this job. You had to look for them during the visit. All in all, it wasn't a nice restaurant visit. It is striking that so many Russian users rate this restaurant very well with five stars and no other comments.

I was there for lunch as part of a business meeting. What was great about the service was that when I ordered, the waitress pointed out to me that this dish would take far too long to prepare and that there would be too little time for my lunch. So I decided on *Udon with vegetables*. I wanted to know how it was prepared. WHETHER WITH coconut milk or something else. But the waitress didn't know. While I was looking for alternatives, the waitress came back after asking in the kitchen. So I ordered *Udon with vegetables*, which was made with cream and coconut milk and was super delicious, it just tasted *willless*. Gladly again at any time!!!!

The food tastes great but none of the staff can speak German, which means what you have to get used to is best if you're already at home. The wrong food order can take a while until you get the right food and drink

I was introduced to this restaurant from a friend, the food here is very delicious, the atmosphere is fresh, the service is very dedicated.

We went because Asia Fusion caught our attention, and it was more than a success. The service itself was fast, and the drinks were very good, especially the Very Berry was great. Then the tartare was very good in itself, and perfect for while you wait for the food since it is not heavy at all. Then the food, the curry had an ideal flavor, and the whole mix of vegetables and everything was fabulous. And the salad itself too, with a sauce that it had, combined it in a very good way. If we return to Karlsruhe it could be a good stop to continue trying their dishes and desserts, since we didn't have time to try it due to last minute rush!

It simply couldn't be worse. First we waited 20 minutes to place our order, then another 30 to get two cups of coffee with a dessert. After reminding us, the young man told us they would be served in 5 minutes, but that didn't happen either. We then simply walked away because we couldn't stand such impudence anymore. There were only four tables occupied on the terrace!

I was really happy with this restaurant, all those years but now im forced to change my positive review.. The prices are way much higher, thats not a problem for me BUT when the price increases and the quality goes down.. there’s no way to be happy with that. I will not come back.

Update 07/2024: Taumi is now taking action against my review for defamation. Very great 👏 Update 07/2023: Unfortunately, the owners/operators have learned nothing here. The Taumi was checked again on May 2, 2023 and again complained about by the food inspectors. I can only recommend that you take a look at the report yourself at the Food Control and Veterinary Department (0721/133-7101) and see for yourself. The response to the original review, which promised improvement, was simply deleted by the owners/operators. The Taumi was already criticized in 2020, 2021 and 2022, but unfortunately these are no longer isolated cases. From October 19th, 2022: Really bad, reading a report in the BNN from October 19th, 2022, I actually liked the Taumi: ashtray next to the rice cooker, expired food, mouse droppings and ant trail. It doesn't help much that the problems have been 'largely' eliminated. Such things should actually be obvious and not even happen. Especially since similar deficiencies were already listed in 2020 and 2021. It doesn't help if Springer SBK OHG has been testing since May but then fails an external inspection in June. You probably didn't learn from that with Taumi. The logical consequence for me is to avoid Taumi in the future.

Chain restaurant and you can feel it. The ambience is stylish and should make up for the bland food. The dishes are small but very expensive. You won't even get full with an appetizer. The teriyaki duck was good in terms of meat quality but completely unseasoned and tasteless. The beer was also stale and after asking whether there was also export beer, the waiter didn't know what it was. If you want to go out for Asian food, you'd better choose another restaurant than this faceless, inauthentic chain.

Bye bye Taumi, that’s it for us! We actually always liked being here, but it doesn't suit us anymore. When we last ordered to pick up, we noticed at home that one of the dishes had been mixed up - instead of "Udon in the Black Forest" it was dry chicken with dry glass noodles. Absolutely disappointing. The fried sushi was not a highlight (with chicken) or tasted completely different than before (salmon) and, apart from the bones, was very dominantly seasoned (soapy? Ginger?), so half of it ended up in the trash. Unfortunately for us it's too wrong to continue being a customer here. A pity!

I love eating sushi and have never been disappointed at Taumi :) Super tasty and fresh, top quality. Very great atmosphere and the presentation of the food was also very nice. Service great too! If you enjoy the sushi and state it is guaranteed that you will taste the delicacies and abbondanti, Taumi è the posto good per voi. Also, dessert isn't there for me! I eat sushi really often and this place is one of the best places I ever tried. If you're looking for a fancy restaurant where you can have nice sushi in a nice location, that's the right one.

Simply super delicious!! The service is very nice and polite, the atmosphere is relaxed and there are plenty of seats and the option to sit outside. The price is also very reasonable for the service and not to mention the food - it really tasted great. It looked clean and I will definitely go back.

I haven't eaten Asian food this well in a long time! The homemade curry was to die for. Perfect spiciness, perfect amount of veggies and chicken. The rice had been so delicious. Price and performance were top notch.

If you could give more than 5 stars, then the Taumi Karlsruhe - Asia Fusion would absolutely deserve it. Great service, very attractive presentation of the food on the plate (unfortunately I forgot to take more photos of the starters etc out of sheer joy) and - most importantly - OUTSTANDING taste and aromas! An immediate mental journey to Asia began with the memories that were immediately recalled here. THANK YOU!!!! There is a great selection of dishes with or without meat and you can of course (optionally) practice eating with chopsticks or use classic cutlery. Dad Ambiente offers both small and larger tables (there were five of us there) and you have a direct view of Taumi's open kitchen.

Unfortunately disappointing. Looks nice from the outside. We had ordered spring rolls, sushi and the number 14 - noodles with chicken. The food wasn't even average but unfortunately consistently bad. The chicken was extremely dry and the dish was very boring. Actually just rice noodles and a few pieces of meat. The spring rolls were tasteless, they only had a fried taste. You could hardly taste the shrimp or anything else. The sushi was also boring. Unfortunately.
