Lu Bu Soul Food is a Vietnamese restaurant that also offers sushi. However, in a version that is now best referred to as fusion sushi, i.e. with a variety of sauces and garnishes on the plate. Ultimately it's a question of taste, but the sushi purist will probably shrug off this. The Vietnamese dishes we tested are freshly prepared, of very high quality and are served in a visually appealing manner. “Spicy” here only means spicy for the European palate, making it very edible. The service is very attentive and friendly. Prices are based on the Lehel standard, so they are high. Audience tends to be younger. In Lehel one of the best restaurants for Vietnamese cuisine. For sushi (without fusion) it's better to go to Sushiya Sansaro on Amalienstraße.

A very nicely decorated restaurant, nice and competent staff, fair prices and a pleasant ambience (a bit dark inside). But the vegan selection is tiny. Almost everything with fish. A menu like this is no longer up to date.

I've never given a bad review, but the service was so bad that this is the first time. We came to the restaurant at 12:30 on Friday afternoon to order lunch at the counter (it's usual there). No one there, so we wait. After 10 minutes I ask the waitress in the kitchen if we can order. At that moment a woman appears, obviously annoyed by us, and explains that she has a meeting now and that we should wait 45 minutes. It's strange that the only waitress in a restaurant sets an appointment for 12:30 and doesn't put up a sign saying no orders are possible at the moment. It would have been ok if she had just said “sorry, it's not working right now, please come back later”. But turning away guests who want to order without an apology and in an underground tone is a no go. Therefore never again to Naum

Perfect place to be. Cozy atmosphere. Eat fresh, delicious food. Great family! Simply a good place to eat as a couple or with the whole family.

Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. We discovered several insects in our food, which is completely unacceptable. When we brought this to the attention of the restaurant owner, he actually suggested we just take the insects out and continue eating - a suggestion that shows how little emphasis is placed on hygiene here. Only after we threatened legal action were we offered a refund of just 20 euros, which was less than half of the invoice amount. For a restaurant that should advertise hygiene and quality, this experience was disappointing and disturbing. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves its hygiene standards and handling of complaints.

We were passing through and were both in the mood for sushi, so we found the restaurant and went there spontaneously. The sushi was very tasty, one of the best we had, the ambience is also very nice since we were there relatively early , the restaurant wasn't that busy and our food came very quickly. If we are in the area again, we will definitely eat there again.

Went inside for a quick lunch. It gave more of the impression of a bistro than a restaurant. The tables were dirty and there were boxes at the front counter. Simply put it wasn't comfortable or inviting. Had a starter that was OK, nothing special and the fried noodles were really dry. Can't recommend this place more. The location of the restaurant is great with a little love and cleanliness you can make something out of it.
